Ice whispers to himself "I wonder....."

Kano couldn't help but to feel that something was off. He had been here several times, yet so many faces seemed new and young. He knew that the chain of command hadn't allowed the mass recruiting of young people in ages, so why now?

He walked into a large room and took a seat at a table. Above him, a series of lights clicked on revealing several men lined along both sides of an elongated table.

" Gentlemen. " Kano greeted. " I'm humbled that you have allowed me to come before you this day. As you 'should' know, we are currently breaching war. The enemy has mobilized an unknown force. We know not the size or the influence, however we do know this; They're smart, and they're strong."

He reached over on his right, grabbing a pitcher filled with cool ice water. He poured the water slowly in a glass next to it, sat the pitcher down, and took a long, slow gulp. " I must request the use of the armed forces of what remains of our mobile suit units, and the reinstating of my command."

A single man spoke up. His voice fluid and cool. " You, indeed, have a very impressive record. " He shifted through some files, although they could not be seen. " Taking on an enemy unit of 5 Leo's in a captured Leo unit which was missing and arm, missing a cockpit hatch security door, and armed with only a Leo rifle. Capturing and relinquishing them from the enemy forces; providing us with much needed information on enemy tactics. Leading a team of 4 suits into a heavily guarded enemy base to destroy a new shipment of materials used to construct and repair mobile suits, escaping unscathed and with no casualties." He coughed and closed the file. " I dare not continue for we would be here for weeks. "

Kano blinked, hearing his own accomplishments made him uneasy for some reason. The man sighed and took a drink from his own glass. " You have proven yourself to this military time over time, and yet again recently while not on active duty. You may ask us for any resources you require."

"Then let's begin going over this list. "

Seig could see every movement, feel every jolt, smell every breath of the gun smoke filled air.. however he was of no use, neither in thought or in movement at this moment. He could sense every movement the Shadowen chose to take before it took it. He was one with the suit and for the first time in a long time, he was afraid.

The suit spiraled through the air at breack-neck speed. Rockets, cannon fire, bullets, none hit their mark. The Shadowen molted it's outer layer of armor and spun about, lashing out a vicious heat rod strike, sending the shards of liquid alloy plummeting towards an oncoming suit. The suit was pierced and sliced through easily, sparking a few times accompanied by minor eruptions before it exploded into a ball of fire and shards of debris.

An enemy Aries darted down towards the Shadowen, however, missing it's target completely with it's unstable beam saber attack. As it began to turn to give chase, it's left side slipped and gave way. The pilot's face opened in shock, fear, and in half. The Aries fell in half, plummeting dozens of feet before exploding.

Seig watched as the suit reached a suitable altitude, turning, and then plummeting towards the ground. It's over-thrusters kicked in, forcing Seig back into his seat violently. He could feel his ribs giving way, blood pooling in the back of his throat. Then he realized the suits thinking process.

A series of heat seeking rockets slammed into the ground as the Shadowen pulled up at the last moment, darting off towards a line of enemy ground units, only inches above the steel ground of the base. Shadowen stood upright, pulsed it's leg thrusters, and hacked the suits in a single horizontal slash.

The suit turned, locating a new target, and found it. A bright red Taurus with a beam rifle in one hand and a beam saber in the other. The commander of this unit.

The door to Ice's room opened as light filtered through. The sound of a gun cocking echoed into the room as the silhouette of a spiky haired man walked in. He lowered the handgun to his right side and smirked. " Preventer Ice? I see you've been taken captive. " He turned as the sound of thudding boot steps echoed down the hall towards the room. " I'm Preventer Haze and I'm here to 'escort' you out of here.

Anderson smiled to himself as he looked at his massive mobile suit. " Everything is going exactly to plan. " As the words left his lips, a lower ranking official run up to him in a panic.

" Sir! Someone has infiltrated the base! They're attempting to free the captive! "

Anderson simply smiled before turning towards the official. " Thank you, but you're warnings are not needed. "

The official looked confused, however, this lasted only for a moment before confusion turned to despair, the mans spine snapping in 12 places, contorting, and basically forming his body into a ball of writhing pain accompanied by screams of anguish and torment.

" I do not like for my current words to be deemed Ironic. " Anderson laughed to himself and paced off, the team of mechanics standing nearby who had witnessed the scene quickly scurryed off in fear of becoming the Psychics next random victim.

Haze shook his head and smiled a he tossed the gun in his hand on the bed where Ice sat. " We're going to be making a noisy exit, so you better keep that on you. " He turned and poked his head out of the door just as a hail of gunfire showered the door. He ducked his head back inside and smiled. " Very noisy.. "

they continue fighting forward "We're gonna need a way out of here. And preferrably something that can fight back."

*Haze's hand rocket around a corner, grasping a guard by the neck before catapulting him into the air in the opposite direction. He looked over his shoulder at Ice who was calmly firing off rounds at their pursuers with an icy cold determination. * -=The name suits him I suppose=- * He placed his back against the wall as a series of bullets flooded the hallway, one shell barely grazing his right shoulder.

"Gh.... Damn it." * He simply turned his eyes to the now freshly bleeding wound.* " Well, to answer your question, your suit is in their holding hangar. What do you say we blow a hole in this ship? This was my favorite outfit....now it's going to get stained.

((Ok what are all of us doing at the meeting? who are we listening too? I got confused))

Haze sighs as he slams himself into a nearby door, thus being that of the hangar. He turns, pulling Ice through the door as a large explosion echoes through the hall they were previously in, flames searing past the door. " Eh, forgot that I had placed those there prior to breaking you out..."

-=Enemy Suit Factor Capabilities Estimated At A 60% Max With This Unit.=-

Seig blinked, he knew that the Shadowen estimated the chance of victory and pushed every amount of power it had into crushing it's enemies. However, in this instance, it had to deal with a suit that could stand up to 60% of it's max power, excluding the skill of the pilot, and still dodge the oncoming fire of the enemies surrounding them.

At that moment, the suit lunged forward, an over sized beam saber flaring to life in it's right hand as a massive shield launched from the back of it's opposite arm towards the Shadowen.
