In a very non-Hisoka-ish manner, the cat snatched Tsuzuki's arm and led the wolf away angrily, muttering under his breath.
"You shouldn't try to make Hisoka upset like that, Cino," Draco sighed once the Shinigami were gone.
Cino shrugged and flounced off, smiling. "What makes you think I was trying?

"Oomph," Tsuzuki commented as Hisoka dragged him away. "We are going to try and find the missing Circle members, right?" he felt the need to ask--he wasn't entirely sure Hisoka's intentions were perfectly aligned with his own. For the meanwhile, allowing the kitten to take control of the situation was perfectly okay with him.

Hisoka snarled, not answering Tsuzuki for a long, long moment-- not until they were far, FAR away from Cino. "Missing... oh. Yeah, we can, if you want," he shrugged.
Balin flew towards the Nest, contemplating everything. He was tired. Atticus was going to end up causing more trouble than he was worth. He KNEW it.

Tsuzuki dug his feet in to the carpet. "And now you're distracted!" he declared, leaning closer to peer down at his partner. "I thought you were worried about whatever they were up to only a few moments ago...."
Soaring and gliding along beside, Atticus practiced his favorite in the air past time--tricks. There was nothing like a sudden barrel roll beneath your flying mate. The advantages these wings gave... was sometimes enough to make him forget what they'd cost. "Are we there yet?" he called cheerily to Balin, flinging himself backward in a flip and flapping twice to catch back up. "Where are we headed?"

Hisoka blinked. "I am not!" he snarled softly, lying through his teeth. "And I'm not really worried-- they're long gone by now."
"To the Nest," Balin answered shortly as the ring surrounding raven's Domain came into view. "And yes, we're here. Let's take a walk," he declared as he landed just inside the ring and walking towards the woods.

Let it drop, Tsuzuki--like a hot potato--drop it, "What's eating you?" he bothered further, ignoring the better half of his senses. Okay, so it was more like the better quarter... or maybe eighth... some small fraction of the sort. "And if they're long gone, we've got to move quickly, ne?"
Landing beside his alpha, Atticus followed along and just ahead, walking backwards to keep the eye to eye contact, should Balin choose it. He'd just have to trust his instincts not to let him run into a tree. A warning from Balin should any unruly vegetation pop up would be welcome, but the coon didn't seem keen on doing anything for Atticus' sake at the moment. He waited in genial silence for his alpha to cover for his lack of explanation.

Hisoka snarled and glared at his partner before turning and stalking off in the general direction of the library.
Balin took several moments to calm himself before speaking. "...you're going to get everyone into trouble, Atticus. I don't want that Nykoa poking around the Nest, and you've gone and gotten him interested. If things are happening here-- and they are-- then it isn't something that snake needs to concern himself with.
"But on the subject of the Circle... I could care less about what they actually do, excepting that they've managed something strange that I can't remember quite seeing before. They've banded together in a group-- semes, semeukes, perhaps an uke or two-- without inner turmoil, this strange collection of Anthropomorphs. They don't even come from the same packs-- the only thing they have in common is a goal they don't all realize," Balin sighed softly as he merely stated whatever came to mind.

Well... he supposed he could just go and look for the Circle members on his own... But that wouldn't do anything at all for 'soka's most recent... er... 'outburst'... which he would call it, despite the fact that there had been no words. But every moment he spent here was losing precious time unraveling the mystery slowly threatening to take over his attention.
....Oh, screw it. "Where are you going?" he called out to the kitten, moving quickly to catch up.
"Perhaps Nykoa has every right to 'poke around'," Atticus countered after a moment of silence and contemplation. "At least one of his pack is directly, openly involved with the Circle.
"And for a 'strange collection'? Ha! That they've banded together from so many different... 'stratas' is intriguing, yes, but ultimately secondary to what they're up to. Which, I'm perfectly ready to admit, I don't know. But they've been far less than open with anything they've done, including their 'punishments'--for I'm certain that's the sort of mindset they've had when attacking anthros," he stopped for a moment, collecting his thoughts, hoping to present them in a way that might possibly make Balin stop resorting to calling him 'stupid' and weigh his opinion and conclusions as valid.
"Their goal, whatever it is, is enough to justify to them their actions. I don't like what they've done. I don't like their mini rampage of terror. Whatever justification they might have ought to be shared--if they're not willing to do that, they're going to have to deal with mutual hostility. If they're not going to explain themselves, I don't see why it shouldn't be assumed there's no logical explanation, given the severity of their actions and that such actions are most often coupled with sociopaths."

Hisoka ignored Tsuzuki as he stormed into the library, slamming the door in the wolf's face.
Balin sighed. "They've only staged one attack, last I heard-- and that one they were paid to do. The other was not sanctioned by the leader of the Circle-- it was planned by another member of the Circle. You can't seriously be calling a single attack a 'mini rampage of terror', Atticus," Balin gave his Beta an almost disbelieving glance.

Tsuzuki stared. Well--well if that was how he was going to..--well--"'soka~," he whined at the door. That had been fairly unexpected. And awful feeling, come to think of it.
Atticus actually glared at the alpha. Full on glared, something he was not wont to do very often. "What I am calling a 'mini rampage of terror' is the hold the word 'Circle' has over almost every single anthropomorph I have encountered since my return. Call that what you will, it's not right."

Hisoka curled up in a corner of the library, unhappy. That... little... brat!!!
"That's their own minds playing tricks on them," Balin shrugged. "If you haven't noticed, people have similar reactions to Pack Leaders."

Option A-open the door. Option B-whine at the door. Option C-Knock. Option D-Leave. Option B has already failed. How about... Option A? Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Tsuzuki attempted his luck with the (hopefully) unlocked door.
"I'm sure you've noticed I'm not making a habit of hurting people," Atticus raised an eyebrow in response. "Besides, they're supposed to be wary of me, not other anthros. ....If the Circle has sparked this fear a'purpose... What do they stand to gain from treading on pack leader territory? You're obviously of the mind that they're not in it for the free reign/adrenaline rush, care to explain your theories on why I shouldn't be suspicious?"

In Hisoka's rush to put distance between him and Cino-- and Tsuzuki, since the wolf was so CLUELESS, he'd forgotten to lock the door indeed.
"Have you ever met the Sakurazukamori?" Balin asked, shrugging. "He's their leader-- and actually DOES know what he's doing. Quite competant at what he does. He's the doctor at the Nest. As for what he's doing...
"I agree that the Circle can be dangerous-- but banded together, they are a lot LESS dangerous than they would be if left alone. What Seishirou has done is to bring all those who are inclined to be on the more... shall we say... sadistic? side of the Anthropomorphs, and keep them in check.
"That is, of course, oversimplifying it," Balin shrugged.

Upon first entering, Tsuzuki was overwhelmed by the amount of books. Well, it was a library. He ought to get used to it. "'soka?" he called out cautiously, not entirely sure where to begin looking. Calling his name... that had been a risk... one he feared would be met with a sullen (worse yet, angry) 'Go away'.
Atticus mulled this over for a long few moments; 'kept them in check' his a**. Besides, they'd be easier to pick off one by one, but when they had each other at their beck and call...
And if that was oversimplifying, he was deathly curious about the details. "How, exactly, did you come by all this information, Balin my heart?" he asked finally. Assuming any of it was true.

Balin smiled ever so slightly. "After speaking with Miss raven and the Sakurazukamori, that's what I've discovered. It's surprisingly easy when you don't approach them in a manner they consider hostile or dangerous."
Hisoka didn't answer, sulking in one of the corners. "Stupid puppy," he muttered under his breath, curled up in a ball.
