((This one's for Sox)) Scribblez bounced through the woods, her tail swishing and swaying behind her. She'd lost her crayons recently and was hoping to retrace her steps. For some reason everyone thought that this would make her find them, but she'd done it four times already and still no luck. In any case, it was fun to run and skip and bounce back and forth from her house to her scribbly-tree (a tree on which she often doodled upon). She skipped up to the tree, oblivious to the fact that there were any other kats around.
"Noooope. No crayons yet. I wonder if they're hiding from me..."
She spoke to herself sometimes.

kitch's eyes fallow her as he drops from the tree "Hi there, whats your name" he says promptly at the strange feakat who seams to be looking for something "did you lose something, i can help you i am a wiz at finding and hidding" he looks at here wondering what she had lost

Dreaming.of.Tomorrow ((Tell me if the link doesn't work... I've been having trouble with them lately... ^^)) Cora hummed a song as she sat beneath a tree. Her eyes were closed and a pen tapped on the paper of the notebook in her lap. She was trying to write a song but she hadn't had much inspiration as of late. She didn't normally go out of her way to interact with others but lately she felt even more distanced then usually. She opened her eyes and stared at the dots the tip of her pen was making on the paper where she had been repeatidly tapped it. She scribbled down some words but quickly scratched them out. Once agian she closed her eyes and started to hum a song familiar to her from her childhood.((Works fine =^_^=)) Eggie Sat in the top of a tree, admiring a tiny bird as it chirped away. He loved to look at birds and bugs and...well anything.
"What a pretty birdie, sing birdie, sing!"
Eggie closed his eyes, waiting to hear the bird's soft song, but the song that came to him was from below. It was a soft humming, and Eggie was surprised by it.
"Birdie, was that you?" but the bird had flown away, "Who is singing for Eggie?"
He turned around, eyes scanning below, until he noticed the lady with the genlte song. A smile spread across his face. A friend, a singing friend! How nice...but someone was strange about her too. He jumped down from her branch, landing with a loud thud beside her.
"HELLO my singing friend!"

"Don't sneak up on my like that!" and then she smiled wide, forgetting that she was startled, "Oh hi! My name is Scribblez! Um..I lost my crayons. I've tried looking over and over and over and over and ooooooveeeerrrr, but I just can't find them at all."

Cora jumped and looked at the kat who landed beside her. "Hello." Her voice was quiet and soft but she wondered why he had called her his 'singing friend.' Yes, she had been humming but she didn't think anyone was around. Maybe that was the reason she didn't pay attention to how loud she had been humming. She stood from her seat beneath the tree, it would not have been polite to her to her if she remained seated. Offering a cautious smile, she spoke with her same quiet vioce. "My name is Cora."

"Cora," Eggie repeated, "my newest singing friend. What a lovely song, a wonderful song, a fabulous song, but just a song so words, like a birdie's song. Yes Very good songs. Cora, the singing friend, I am Eggie."
Eggie grinned and held up his hand, which now had a single white daisy in it for her. Eggie was a master in petty illusion. He never really put it to much good, other than to make things...well...strange to say the least.

Scribblez stepped down with both feet and held out her hands as if to include the entire area they were standing in, "Right here."
She twirled around once, then looked up at the male. She blinked twice, twireled around again (for emphasis, arms still open wide), and then slumped.
"See? Nowhere to be found..."

kitch looks around then goes looking around the surrouding area. he put on a shurlock homes cap and eyeglass, then looks in a few bushes "what colors did you have" he asked

Cora smiled and looked at the flower in his hand for a moment before gently accepting it. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Eggie." She smiled and bowed slightly. He seemed odd to Cora but she couldn't help but smile at his unique choose of words... And to her, comparing her songs to those of the birds was one of the highest compliments possible.

"Blue...red...purple...green...yellow....um....um....um....oh! And orange!"
Scribblez counted her fingers to make sure that was it, then nodded, "Yep, those are all the colors."

"So good to meet you, Cora the Singing Friend."
Eggie looked down at the tablet she'd been holding, and the pen.
"Oohh...is Cora writing a story?"

kitch scratchs his head thinking "i think i may have seen those when i was up in the tree, over here" he said pointing under a small tree surounded by bushes "go check it out"

Scribblez's ears perked up and she went over to the little tree slowly. She couldn't remember being there...but she sometimes couldn't remember places she'd been. She crouched down at the base of the tree and looked behind a bit of shrubbery...aha! There they were, birhgt and lovely, and anything but new. She picked them up and held them in the air triumphantly.
"My crayons!" she exclaimed, "they were here all along!"
Scribblez bounded over, nearly knocking the poor male over, and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you, nice stranger, for finding my crayons!"
Scribblez blinked, "Hey what's your name anyway, stranger?"

"oh sorry i had forgotten to tell you my name, im kitch"he said rubbing the back of his head, a bit embarred. "i knew i though i saw them there"
