Corianna Rolled her eyes at Ricky and crossed her arms, a trick she had learned from cousin Joy. She then turned to face him once more and grinned again. "I'm 22!" Kory announced proudly, her eyes sparking as she sat up straight, trying to look bigger and more mature.. it didn't work though.
She then looked the guy up and down, scrutinizing him with her huge green eyes before gently poking him in the chest. "You aren't a girl are you?" She looked at him, serious suspiscion coloring her little girl's voice voice. Here red eyebrows drew together in a serious frown as she placed her hands on her hips and attempted to stare him down. Needless to say, once again it didn't work.

Ritsuka gave a small giggle, quietly congratulating himself that he'd actually gotten something right for once. But to be 22 and look 5? Looking like he was 12 at his age was bad enough, but it was even worse for Corianna. And she seemed to act five, also. Well, so did he, but it was more of a hyper adorable act thing he always loved using. He was just naturally friendly and trusting of anyone. Glancing towards her, he watched as he eyes scanned him. Blinking slightly, he knew what she was going to say. Still, it seemed to catch him by surprise. Giving a squeek as she poked him, he gave a small flinch and a hurt expression. His ears drooped slightly, only to perk once again. "No, I'm not a girl." he replied in a slightly whiny tone, rolling his eyes playfully. Everyone seemed to ask him that the moment they met him, but he didn't mind at all. He actually seemed to like it. Girls definately seemed to like him looking like a girl, but only a few guys did.

When he told Corianna he wasn't a girl, her features dropped, her eyes began to get really watery and she sat with her shoulders hunched. She knew he wasn't a girl, but still.. there had been a possibilty..
No, there had never been a possibility. Ever. Even if he had been a girl, doubtless he wouldn't wanna play with her. Nobody ever did. And Joy always got mad when she asked. Cory began to get really devastated, if she had had ears like ricky, they would have drooped as far down as they could go. Her wet hair was dripping in her eyes as she tried to hold back tears. It just wasn't fair that nobody wanted to play. It was really disheartining.

Ears perked with slight curiousity, Ritsuka watched as she seemed to sadden. His features did the same exact thing. His ears would droop depressingly and his adoring eyes would become large, watery orbs that stared up in innocence. He always used the look as a last resort to get something, and it always seemed to work. Now Corianna seemed depressed, but that could've been fixed easily. Standing, he reaching his full height of 5'2'', stretching his scrawny little body as his tail rose lazily from the warm waters. It was soaking wet, now atleast four times it's original, shifty weight. Giving it a slight flick in Corianna's direction, water droplets flung from the end and hurled towards her. Taking a deep breath, he dove into the water and slid easily through the warm, crystal clear liquid.

Corianna looked up in alarm as Ricky dissapeared under the water. Cory pouted for a moment then took a huge breath of air, puffing up her cheeks immensly. She dove under too and grabbed his tail, quickly climbing up it so as not to give him too much pain.
When she reached his shoulders she hugged him around the shoulders, having quite a hard time of it with her short arms. She figured he probably didn't understand the reason why she was depressed. She wanted to play dolls, and every boy she ever met never liked them.. and most girls in the university were too mature for them.
But Kory didn't want to lose her new friend, so she squeezed him around the shoulders before a small bump made her fall. Cory grabbed quickly for his arm, but never connected.. and she was too deep under water to get up with her small feet. But she tried anyway, kicking as hard as possible, starting to panic as her lungs threatened to burst.

Ritsuka gave a water muffled squeel as she grabbed him by his tail. Pushing himself out of the waters with his feet. "No fair! You can't grab my tail." he whined, nearly tumbling over as she hugged him around his shoulders. Stumbling a few steps backwards, he regained himself before feeling her fall backwards. Twisting himself around, he grasped her by the arms and pulled her to the surface. "You're hopeless." he mumbled with a smirk and a giggle. Lifting her out of the water, he hoisted her up and over behind him. Ritsuka positioned her in the traditional piggy back position, gripping her tiny little legs. His own little legs wavered through the water as he attempted to go forward, nearly rolling face first into the waters. He would play with dolls than splash around in the hot springs any day.

Corianna smiled in great relief as she adjusted herself to his relatively broad back and let her wet head rest against his back. "Thank you! Big brother!" Cory grinned and clutched his shoulders to keep from falling off when he stumbled. Soon she took to yelling out when things were in his way, unfortunately these weren't very helpful as they normally came out to something like: "Big gray scary rock over there! Huge small slippery gravel patch that-a-way! Look out! It's a water snake" Or simply "Eek!"
Once they were clear out of the water, Cory dismounted and hopped up and down. "Will you play dolls? Oh please Oh please Oh Please!" She ran a couple steps and then came back draggin a huge duffel bag full of different sizes and shapes of dolls and large amounts of store-bought and homemade doll clothes, some of which she could fit into.

Rivera emerged from the changing rooms with her hair tied up with the black hair ribbon, two long locks left loose to frame her face. She did look healthier than her previously emaciated form only months ago. And at the same time, she was finally growing into a slightly more feminine curviness. Up to about four weeks ago, she still looked like a very effective male crossdresser. At least she was no longer flat. Her silver bikini had snakeskin patterns on it. The halter top piece exposed her entire back except for the parts covered up by the strings that secured it. The collar Kira gave her glistened about her neck. Her engagement ring shone brightly on her left pinkie.

Kira walked out of the changing rooms slowly, black trunks around his waists and a towel around his shoulders. His black hair, now long enough to be tied back in the back, hung in his face just below his eyes, hiding the gray orbs. He shook his head slightly to one side so his hair was out of his right eye and smiled at Rivera as he walked into the springs. She had truly become far more beautiful than any woman he had seen in the time they had been to the university. He sank into a sitting position next to her and sighed happily. This was all he needed.

Rivera kissed him softly on the neck before she walked up behind him and ran her hand along his shoulderblades, just around the base of his wings. There were scars... she couldn't help but feel a bit guilty about them. If he had not tagged along with her all the time and gotten involved in her strange adventures, he probably wouldn't be hurt so often because of her. Maybe if she had taken better care of herself, he wouldn't have gotten into so much trouble on her part. Gently, she ground the heel of her palms into his back rhythmically and firmly. "You never told me when your birthday is." She said out of the blue. "I hope we didn't pass it in all the wierd adventuring."

Kira grunted slightly when she started massaging. It had been a long time since he had a massage and he was full of kinks and knots, but he soon managed to loosen himself and let Rivera go about massaging him. "Well... I dunno anymore... I've been so concerned with helping you alright... But I don't think it passed yet..." He said quietly enjoying the massage. "I think it was the twentieth of this month... At least that's the day me and Kuro ceased to have the same body..." He said softly.

"Crap... that's two days away, isn't it..." Rivera murmured as she kneaded her hands against his shoulders and around his wings. She missed giving him massages. If they had the time, she'd do it every single day. It was a wierd way of relaxing, but... Rivera's a wierd girl. She did wierd things like that. "Well... expect something from me." She tacked on after a long moment of silence. She loved alone time with Kira. It was so rare that they had time together any more. She had so many classes and things.

"Why don't you ever skip some of your classes? I always skip and only do tests and stuff and my grades have been perfect... Besides, I can give you help and you'd probably do great in your classes without even having to be their..." Kira said gently. "So... Something from you? I think I can make more than one guess on something you'd give me..." He said gently. If Rivera would ever take more time off, things would be alot easier on him. "Oh... By the way... The other couple in the alliance has a child on the way..." He said quietly, referring to Shinku and Hitomi.

"I'd love to give you the same thing for your birthday... but I'm afraid you'll have to wait another week for a try." She sighed. It wasn't going to work unless if they time it right. And who knows if she's still capable after two thousand years...? Rivera felt something plop into the water behind her. At first, she thought that it was just one of the crabapples falling from the crabapple tree above them... then she realized that it was almost spring and there weren't any crabapples until autumn! Before she had a chance to look up at the disturbance, she noticed that her swimsuit top had fallen off into the water and quickly covered herself with her arm. Only one person could've done that. Okay... so maybe two, but only one person would want to do that.
A girlish laugh rang out from above them as someone cannonballed into the pool, splashing them with water. Kestrel gleefully hugged Rivera from behind. "Allo! <3"

Kira sighed angrilly. "Ever heard of something called alone time Kestrel?" He asked angrilly as he reached into the water and pulled Rivera's swim top out of the spring, handing it to her. He honestly couldn't stand Kestrel at all. She was his absolute least favorite person. "You keep stalking us everytime we go to the springs... Answer me this... Why? Why do you feel you have to interrupt everything we do?" He asked.
