This is really wierd, but this was a while ago:
Ok, so it was about the middle of summer vacation and I left my CD player on Phantom for my little sister.
I fall asleep and I find myself at school (( gonk I had enough of that place around then so I was pretty much "WHAT THE FUDGE!"))
and my Drama club was putting on Phantom. I auditioned. I didn't make it. I cried, hard.
Wake up with sadness to notice my eyes are all gunky from crying...
I must've been crying in my sleep or something...
Yes, I still remember dreams that happened early July.

taisamustang29 I know. -shrug- Tell my subconcious. Did I even spell that right? >.> Three patches of white what? In his hair? I'm confused. @.@ Three patches of white hair. I have the bad habit of putting long explanations in parenthesis, which kind of breaks the point I was trying to make.

I have the bad habit of putting long explanations in parenthesis, which kind of breaks the point I was trying to make. Ahhh... I get it now. I was like "...Huh?" In the musical... I'm afraid all I've ever seen is the 2k4 movie. I want to see the musical so badly, it's in Philly now and my dad promised to take me before he decided to go galavanting off to live in Las Vegas before my birthday. =.=;; Either way, I've never seen the white hair in the play, so... -shrug-

Thorn Venatrix taisamustang29 They had cast this guy... Vadim... As Erik, since he had a scar over the right side of his lip and black hair that is HOTT slicked back (I would know... He's real.) and I was supposed to be Christine. Actually, technically he was supposed to have three patches of white (I think, it's been a while) hair. The black, slicked back look came from the 2004 movie.
But I do believe Erik wore a wig as well. Did he not? I am thinking back to his disguise for trips above ground.

Perhaps. I mean, it could be a wig, but I think that since it was still on when Christine woke up after MotN, I mean, I wouldn't sleep in a wig. No way, jose. Though I suppose I'm not Erik now, am I? >.>
Yeah, though, it was probably a wig. -shrug- He just wears it an awful lot, even when he was singing the part in 'Notes'... I don't suppose he'd wear it if nobody was around, right?
Hmmm...
Maybe I'm wrong.
I dunno... Oy. My brain hurts.

The black hair is a wig in all the ALW versions. (Except the Hungarian non-replica, but that's neither here nor there.) It falls off after PONR, and you see him with his normal, Lerouxish whisps of hair. (More or less. Some translations of Leroux say his hair was white, some say black, and I don't have the original French.)
As for why he was wearing it all the time... When Christine's there I can understand: the wig is a part of his disguise. He's not going to take it off while she's there any more than he would the mask. And the rest
I'm just going to guess is more of Schumacher being stupid and sacrificing logic for a pretty shot, since we never see Erik when he's alone in the stage show.

But was there a wig in the NOVEL? I know he had his disguise to leave the layer... but I am not sure what was on his head.

I might be taking that from something else though...~long overdue for a reread~ >.< Anyhow, I was just reminded of a dream I had a while ago. In it Snape and Erik were standing around a staircase, and at the top of the stairs there was a giant mirror. Meanwhile, there were some little white puppies running around the room. And some snakes too. Yeah, it's not very meaningful. sweatdrop (The reason I remembered is because last night I had a dream I met ALW...except he looked a bit like Richard Gere.)

BACK TO THE TOPIC PEOPLE! My dream was when I was about half asleep, and was thinking about how Raoul was holding Christine at the beginning of AIAOY. Then I sorta fell asleep, dreaming that I was Christine in an auditorium, standing in the back near the doors. It was a practice, so nobody was in the audience. But I had been standing in front of a man, and he held me the exact same way! eek . Anyway, I didn't try to get away, or anything. Then he said something in a really smexy voice, then the dream ended. crying . I wish I could remember what he said.

This one's original...
Mnkay, so there's this person I RP with. I dreamt that I found Erik's armbone when I went to the Paris Opera on vacation.
(No, I had no real reason to assume that it was until I picked it up.)
Then, since I'm the one that RPs him (I guess) he just kind of popped up. I'm like, "wtf?", but then I find that I can control him (more or less). So I sent this Kelly person (the other RPer) an E-mail about it, and she responded saying that she had done the same with Christine.
I'm like "el spiff! They should meet up!" and she agreed and we met somewhere in Philly. Then I found another bone... And Nadir popped up. Then another two -- my OCs, Klemens and Svenson Burkeweiler. At this point, I was just confused, and I remember some kind of inner monologue after I realized that these people could only function as the ones in the RP. IE: Erik was incapable of falling in love with anyone but Christine, considering that nobody else was in the RP. Same with Nadir. So it went something like...
"Now, were I a lesser fangirl, I would hurry up and put myself in the RP and just, y'know, screw Christine over. She's got two other guys anyway. But, since I'm not, I'll just leave things the way they are. And I'll take notes. Lots of notes."

Here's another dream I had last night, I think. We were at my school, only it was different. No lockers, at the beginning, and the auditorium looked like the Opera House. We were going to a ball of some kind, I think it was a Masquerede, and Michael Crawford was the Phantom, and he was singing in the parking lot(weird). Then I was in the bathroom, and Carlotta and her slave people were plotting to kill Christine so Carlotta could have Raoul. I picked up this paper that was on the floor, and it had four sections on it. One red, one yellow, one blue, and one green. The top two I wasn't paying attention to, but the bottom two, the green and blue. This was a sheet of who was to die at this Masquerede. The only text was Roman numerals 1-4. The III box was Raoul, the IV was Carlotta. All the numerals were black except for the ones in Carlotta's box, those were outlines of the actual numbers. Then I ran out to tell the others, including M. Vicomte Raoul de Chany(sp) himself, that there would be murders here. I ran to my science room, where some of my friends were. I began to tell them, but then Niddy (one of the girls) asked Mrs. LaBuhn if she could take M. Chany to the party, as Mlle. Daae was not here. As she walked out the door, I yelled out to her and tried to explain. She just told me to stop yelling, it was unnessicary. Then Mr. Roberson, the 7th grade dean (I think) was sitting in a chair a few feet away. I went up to him and asked what he was doing. He told me that he was waiting for those lightbulbs to burn out so he could replace them. I looked up, and four colored lights were in the ceiling. One yellow, one red, one green, and one blue. When each of those bulbs burnt out, the person would die. I couldn't let that green one burn out, for then Niddy would be devastated. (In my dream she had a crush on Raoul, don't ask why.) Then the fire alarm went off, as did my alarm clock, and I woke up. Weirdest dream I've had all year. (The weirdest part is that I've never heard Crawford sing, and yet here he was, in all his Phantomyness.)

hm...*revives thread*
I had a weird dream that these two guys were like, Erik and Raoul. Weirdly, I like both of them. The older one was Raoul, and the other was Erik. Except....like...they started having lightsaber fights. And that was how Erik got the disfigurement, with a lightsaber. Why do my dreams end up weird? Oh well, it's better than having something to do with Harry Potter.

I haven't had any Phantom dreams worth mentioning or that I can remember, but my friend whom I recently introduced to Phantom told me about a dream she had. In that dream, we were in The Phantom of the Opera along with some other friends. She was the Phantom (Okay, I know he's Erik, but I refer to him as the Phantom when I'm only talking about the musical), I was Meg, my best friend was Christine and another of our very good (female) friends was Raoul. On our last performance ever, she (the Phantom) fell of something during The Point of No Return. And DIED. We couldn't continue the show because our Phantom was DEAD. Weird dream, huh?
