[Okay x3 Though I might keep a bit of evil in him for fun > biggrin Sorry for the shortness *sleepeh*]
Teule snapped quickly out of his bloody stupor and layed his ears against his head, blushing and giving a weak smile. Taka gave the same smile, making it seem as if they were blood related.
"Oh, my bad."
He started licking off his paws and face, watching his brother come back with his mom, while the cheetah scratched at her ear and finished off her meal.

[blah shortness, gotta eat ]
Jasi began licking some of the blood off Teule's fur, but then looked up and blushed. "s-sorry" she mumbled. She began cleaning her own paws. The blood wasnt so visible on her dark brown coat.

((our posts are dwindleing XD we need a plot o__o))
Wokovu plopped down infront of the dead animal taking a large bite and chewing notbothering to clean the blood off his fur yet as he was still hungry..
Yakuti shifted away from the group, the feeling of fear washing over her little form that would easily be prey for any of them. The gods really have a cruel sense of humor... her ears flicked and she set the smaller prey down, laying down to chew on the beatle.

Teule blushed and smiled weakly, finishing off his cleaned pelt. Taka licked the last of the meat off the rabbit and tossed the bones away, flopping on her back and giving a satisfied grin, Teule joining her but nearer to Woko and Jasi.

[Yes, need...something...exciting.. whee ]
Jasi followed, heaving a heavy sigh. Bordom, the crulest emotion. She looked at Tuele and got an idea. She crouched low to the ground, as if hunting and inched toward the cub. She smiled slyly and pounced on Tuele, pinning him to the ground and chewing on his ear.

[; ; same with me, let's PM some Firekin owners and see if they wanna come *dies of horrible postage*]
Teule gave a yip of surprise and quickly took to the game, scrambling around under her and flipping her on her back, doing the same with her ear. Taka smiled and moved over towards Yakuti, scratching her ear with her hind leg, acting like she would with another female cheetah...except this was a female fox.
"C'mon Woko!"

((Where in the desert, ^__^)) Jasi grinned as Woko joined in and started to pounce and swat at the two. She had never really play-fought before, but she was surprised at how good she was. She pounced on Woko, and maneged to pin him to the ground. "Gotcha" she grinned.

*Rogue and I are assuming time has passed. wink *
Kinja yawned and stretched out in the hot sand letting it warm her body thoroughly. Rolling onto her back she allows her swollen stomache to bask in the sun as a gentle sigh escapes her. Over the months she had grown use to the hot desert and was warming up to calling it home even though she still longed for her real home back in the pridelands. She felt torn between the two places, if she left the desert she would loose Kiu, her mate, but if she stayed she would always be away from her true home.
The thought of Kiu made her smile and she glanced to her abdomen. She had grown quite a lot since the night that she and Kiu confessed love to one another and she didn't regret a thing. The pride didn't seem to really notice but she knew sooner or later her and Kiu's relationship would have to be brought out, especially when the cubs were born. The thought of telling Makadari frightened her but she was certain that Kiu wouldn't allow his father to hurt her.
Rolling back onto her sotmache she looked towards the den where the kin currently was. Her ears fell against her head at the thought of the horrible lion before she shook herself free of those emotions. If anyone found out about how she felt of Makadari then she would certainly be exiled and her cubs killed when they were born. She shuddered and turned her eyes away.
Rising from her spot she glanced around carefully, making sure that no other lions or lionesses were around before she slipped toward the oasis and allowed herself to lap up some of the cool water. The liquid running down her parched throat was pure bliss, she still couldn't go as long without water as the Firekin could but she did improve her stamina. Whenever she needed water she needed to be very careful about it.
After taking her fill she looked around before leaping onto a rock that overlooked the waters edge. She gazed down at her reflection, well, not hers, but of her Firekin identity. Gentle ripples graced the water as two tiny tear drops fell. She felt horrible deceiving Kiu the way she was and had been considering telling him who she truly was, but was afraid. She didn't want to loose him, she loved him far too much.

Kiu yawned and stretched in the quiet, dry, cool darkness of his den. His eyes opened, and the heir looked about his person blearily and, seeing no one, stretched luxuriously to work the kinks out of his muscles. His back arched, great red paws pushing upwards from the ground, his tail swishing idly back and forth. Twisting his neck from one side to the other, Kiu smiled as he heard a satisfying crack. After shaking himself off, the great lion felt ready to greet the dawn!
Or, as it was, the afternoon.
Kinja hadn’t needed to tell him that she was pregnant. Pregnant with his cubs. He had watched as they grew inside her. There had been no confessions, no secrets. He had simply known, and she had known that he had known. Kiu was proud. Very proud indeed. In this litter of cubs, and a fine litter it would be, the next heir to the Firekin would be born. Was this, he wondered, how Makadari had felt before his own birth? Kiu doubted it. There was little love lost between himself and the king.
Kiu yawned, and then walked off towards the oasis, where he knew that Kinja would be. He knew that the strange lioness that he had bonded with was certainly there. Though he did not notice that she needed to drink more than other lions of the Firekin, he had noticed that she often went there when she sought solitude and tranquility. Feeling satisfied with this assumption, not guessing at any other reasons for her to choose the oasis as her hidden sanctuary, Kiu was content to let his mind concentrate on other things.
It did not take Kiu long to reach the oasis. The sand felt hot under his paws, but everything that is exposed to the hardships of the world is turned to callous eventually, and Kiu’s paws were resilient and almost unfeeling. The heat did not bother him. His paws had burnt and toughened. Walking past a tree and into the oasis, Kiu saw Kinja. He smiled at her, padding up to her. He began grooming her neck when he reached her, more intent on her than on the water in front of him, where she was looking.
Stupid water.
Stupid Mistweavers.
Ah well.
“Drink,” Kiu said, gesturing at the water. “Drinking isn’t good, but when you have cubs growing inside you, the extra water is needed. You need not try and keep from drinking water to avoid my disapproval.”
