Wahhh, you do? *__* Thank you!
Your art is really good too, oodle! One thing, though. I think it would be better if there was a more defined light source. ANd maybe a wider colour palette? The skin is a little pale, if you know what I mean. But I really like it. The colouring of the eyes is beautiful.

It may just be my moniter, but I think her skin color is a bit too green, not necessarly pale.
But again, could just be my moniter. lol, 'cause when Kimi-chan said it was pale I was like, that is not pale! xD;;;
But I do love the eyes~ I think your shading style could be very pretty once you learn more about shading. And not just with the lighting, but being able to color things more evenly. :3

It doesn't look green to me XD; Although there is a little blue spot on her face near her left eye.
I agree with Mellu-chan about the shading. There are just a few things you need to iron out. I'm not really a fan of hair that looks too... strandy. I don't know if you know what I mean or not. But her hair looks like you've tried to use strand by strand detail. I don't usually think that works, especially with a more chibi style. I think if you used a more flat colouring technique, it would look better for the image.
...if you know what I mean. gonk
Light source is just where the light is coming from, so I always have a layer where I note where the light source is coming which I can delete later. It just makes it look more natural if all the light is coming from a set way. It can also add a certain feeling to an image. For example, if the light is coming from below someone, it can distort their features and make them look scary. If it's coming from behind them, it shrouds their face and bodes ill. It can make a big difference.

Yep! You can learn many different ways to shade with just a ball and a light... that or take an art class. If you don't already. ( ^o^ ) And now something of mine. razz I rarely ever post anything (have I posted anything?) here, but what the heck. I'm still in the process of finding a coloring style I like using the computer, and I rather like this attempt. : ) http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/mellmell/dollie.jpg

Mell, that's absolutely gorgeous! My only problem would be about the black outline around her face. It's I'd suggest
1) Making it less thick or 2) Changing it's colour so it doesn't stand out. Because after the linelessness of her hair, the thick lineart there makes her face look less delicate. Maybe substituting it with a slightly-darkened brown?

Brown...?
That could work. It might look strange in other places, though.
This picture doesn't technically have lineart, I guess. I pretty much just sketched a picture and then colored over it. Some of the lines still show (like around the face) since I knew exactly what I wanted there, where as other places (the hair, and hands) the sketch was pretty loose, and it wasn't until I started coloring that I put things into place..
lol if this makes any sense. gonk
I guess I'll have to make sure to cover up the lineart more next time.

Been gone for a while and im back. *lowers head in shame*
I haven't posted for a while and all I can say is sorry.
I want to say from the drawing's that you all posted im happy to see so much talent. (Woot!)
My scanner is gone, My computer broke down on me for a while and I haven't been drawing anything lately. But I did ask a friend of mine to scan a doodle that I recently made.
It came out okay but not good to meet my requirements.

Yes XD; Apart from the final auction prize on my part was two chibis. And I don't draw chibis with proper wings, only ones that float behind them.
I'm glad you like it! The hair was fun to draw *___*

Not really art but a couple art-related questions.
They're about tablets.
-Should I get one? -What brand is recommended? (I was thinking Wacom) -What should it come with? (pens, size, mouse, etc) -How much should a reasonable one cost?
I saw a small Wacom Bamboo (I think) with Tablet and pen going for $60 or $70 on Amazon.
