Hypno:
Yeah, I was hoping that we'd get somethig more from that egg,
but it looks like were not going to.

It really depends on the girl.
I mean if she's dating somone she might take it to mean that you think that she's dating the wrong guy.
If she's not dating somone then like Nana said, maybe it could be a good conversation starter.

@}~',~

I didn't want to join another site, so I didn't go for bebo.

Nana:
I know.
I feel like they're just getting greedy!

@}~',~

I don't remember there being two hats that vomit on you.
The Epic Fail Hat does... which other one?
PostPosted: Mon Apr 14, 2008 8:42 pm

The Epic fail, yes that was it. I thought there was another version of the same thing, but that was the one I was remembering. Ick! xp

They are being greedy. I'm guessing it's just because they probably have someone breathing down their necks. Plus their team is huge! Ironically, the team must be huge to continue making items at the pace they're going. blaugh

Ferdinand, you should go poke Jen and Jo's quest thread. ^___^ I do sometimes.

Jen:

I guess you couldn't expect something like the white drome egg, huh? Still I bet we were both expecting something mildly cool at least, you know?

Thanks for the suggestion! She has told me that she isn't dating anyone but that might have changed by now. I suppose I should ask her if she's dating before tell her about my dream, right?

And don't worry about not joining bebo, anyone can look at my profile after all, right?

Nina:

Hmm, I'm gonna look up that hat, sounds interesting for us guys, ha-ha! We're all usually into gross things, huh?

You might be right on that one. I wonder how many people are on that team...

Really? I wasn't sure about that cuz I don't have a lot of time online anyways... mrgreen

Everyone:

I just added a new entry on my journal. I like how his story is developing (Kenshin Belmont's story that is).
Question: What's the first early memory you can recall from your childhood? I mean, I know we can't usually remember things from when we were 2, 3 or maybe 4 years old but, what can you remember anyway?

Nana:
Well, all the hats have multiple poses...

Still, they had items that started out at 19ยข what happened to those?
Or even the ones that were just a quarter...

*huggle* Yup. <3
I see you more in Kari's thread though. ;P

Hypno:
I was talking about the easter egg.
That was a big let down!
I mean Easter combined with April Fool's!?!
That was just lame!

It's up to you.
What do you mean you weren't sure about that.
Why do you think I linked you? wink
I'm sure my mom would love to visist with you too. 3nodding

Gah... Earliest memories...
I don't have any really clear memories sweatdrop
Just kinda more feelings and thigns more than actual events.

Hey Jen!

Isn't that funny? I have a friend named Kari too. mrgreen

Yes, I know. That's why I said you couldn't expect something along the lines of the white drome egg. Or at least, that's what I meant to say; sorry if I confused you there. sweatdrop
I wonder though, how many people do you think liked the easter egg anyhow? It might be interesting if Gaia could hold a poll with their opinion monkey about that, don't you think?

You said it!
And what I meant by "not being sure" was that I was not sure if I had enough time online to go to yer quest thread cuz I usually only have time to hug brownie and, I don't have time for that everyday now. sweatdrop

So, you don't have any clear memories from when you were that young, huh? No problem! If you can share the first clear memory then that's fine too. Like for example, if you only remember something from when you were 6, 7 or 8 years old, then go with that. That's only if you care to share anyway... mrgreen

For me, it has to be a memory that I clearly remember cuz it was so cool. I can't seem to recall how old I was but, I do remember that I was still sleeping in a crib so, maybe I was 4 or 5, tops. I woke up to find one of those "Lego" like things that was already put together into a plane of some sort. I've always liked planes so it was the coolest thing to get. I was so excited to play with it that I couldn't wait and, well... that's pretty much all I can remember from that day. 3nodding

PS: Wow! Jen is a rockstar now. Hey Jen, can I have an autograph?
PostPosted: Wed Apr 16, 2008 8:59 pm

True, I am more in Kari's thread, but we're in the midst of Animal Crossing addiction. blaugh

Hmmm... my earliest memory... I have this very clear memory from when I was probably four or so. In my hands, I had this fuzzy yellow ducky and I was facinated by the music box on his back. I remember winding up the silver key on his back to hear the music while looking at him closely. He had these red marker marks all over his back and front, and I remember asking my mom, "Who did that to him?"

She started to laugh because she said that I did that to him. "You don't remember?" Of course by then, I didn't. I probably wrote on him when I was three or something, so certainly by four I had that crazy amnesia kids get. It's an odd memory. It's like my first truly conscious thought where I became me. mrgreen

Nina:

I hear "Animal Crossing" is like the sims, isn't it? I was thinking about buying the one for DS cuz it has Wi-Fi play. Have you tried it yet?

That's a neat memory Nina! I find it funny that we're able to remember certain things and, we can't seem to remember others. It's weird too, don't you think?

Jen:

Hey there! No need to say anything if yer too tired. I'm glad you stopped by anyway. And congrats! That's a great avatar both in Gaia form and in drawing. How did you do the drawing anyhow? It looks really cool and sexy! 3nodding

I think someone named "T Blaiser" made it for her.

Hmmm.. no, I wouldn't say AC is like Sims. Now the new "My Sims" on Wii and DS is more like AC. But I don't count those as real Sim games. They aren't as fun for one, nor are they nearly as free flowing as the original game.

Me and my friend do the Wi-fi all the time. She moved to Hawaii semi-recently, so it's a way to keep in contact.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 21, 2008 2:20 pm

Ah, so it was someone else who made that picture, huh? ok!

I see... So, if I like Animal Crossing, I should like "the sims" games, right?
I got a question about the sims though, I hear sims can do pretty much anything we can but, can they also get intimate? I was wondering if one sim got home from work and tried to start things up with its life partner and the other sim said: "not tonight honey, I got a headache". Ha-ha! lol

Wi-Fi is great! It seems that it's region coded though. A friend of mine told me that Europe is not compatible with America. Have you heard any of this?

Gah, stupid Gaia...
I had my reply all typed out and I lost it. *sigh*

Hypno:
Ah... I see.

Well, I gues that's okay too.
The thread moves really slowly though.
And you don't have to keep up with it anyway.
Just bop in and say hi ;D

Thanks.
It's a gift (of sorts) from Tal.
I bumped his thread.
He's closed his shop now though.

Nana:
That's okay, I have threads that I'm in more often that others as well. 4laugh

rofl No, but that'd be cute. They can get intimate, but they don't do it on their own unless you have a hack of some sort installed. But even then, they don't do that. I should try to mention that to a modder or someone and see if it can be done. When a sim is in a bad mood. xd

Oh... I haven't heard that about the Wi-fi. If you get AC, we could always try it! ^____^

But if you like AC, that means you like games that are different. And you might certainly enjoy Sims 2.

My mom started playing games again (she's 63 and the last time she played video games was in the 80's with Atari 2600) starting with Harvest Moon, then she moved to AC, then she moved over to the Sims on PS2. (She now plays Sims on a proper computer.) So I imagine all three games are connected in the way they are not like normal games.

Awww... poor, Jen. I better copy this post so it doesn't get eaten. Gaia hasn't mis-behaved like that in a while.

Jen:

Ok! I'll come by today cuz I got some time.

WHAT!? A Taliban gave you that? Ha-ha, juts kidding! I still wonder how that was done cuz it doesn't look like it was done by hand.

My goodness Jen, that's an awesome avatar you got now! You look like a dinosaur hunter, trainer or breeder. Or maybe all of them combined! This is yer best combination yet! I wish I had one of those white drome eggs now but, I spent most of my gold on that dumb Liam's quest. stressed

Nina:

A-ha! So the Sims games are not exactly complete yet, are they? he-he
Let me know what happens after you share that with someone, ok? I'm curious to know the outcome. 3nodding

So you haven't heard that? Well, it seems it applies to friend codes. By this I mean that a friend code generated here won't be compatible with friend codes over in Europe. Or at least that's what a friend from England told me. I'm not sure if this only applied to Nintendo's friend codes or all of Wi-Fi.
Thanks! I'm gonna see about buying Animal Crossing Wild World cuz, that's the one for DS and I've read good things about it.

Gee Nina, that's cool! My mom is 60 but she doesn't play anything. Well, that's not exactly accurate, she does enjoy to rarely play something like "hang man" or easy games like that. She used to enjoy watching game shows like "Wheel of fortune" a lot!

Well, that's it for me. I'm gonna see what else I can do around here before logging off. 3nodding

Nana:
For as long as I can remember Mom's played games.
I know she loves tetris. 3nodding
She also would play Dr. Mario.
And some other games that aren't as common,
so even if I could remember the names it's not likely that you'd konw em.

*sniff sniff* Yeah. cry

Hypno:
Yay!
It was good to see you there. 3nodding

Thanks. Hubby liked it too.
He said that it looked like I was hunting raptors.

I don't get what to do with the thing form the Liam quest.
You can't seem to equip it. ^^;
I didn't spend any gold on that quest except at Edmund's...
and even then I just bought one of the cheap starter items.

So Jen, yer mom is into puzzle games? I've always hated Tetris and Dr. Mario. They're so repetitive I just wanna die. sweatdrop

And thanks! I had no idea the thread had so many visitors.

I figured yer husband would like an avatar like the dinosaur hunter you had on. It was really cool! You should have entered the arena with that one. 3nodding
The one you have now is very sexy but not as cool as the one Nina has right now. It looks like some sort of Jedi lady with strange powers.

Maybe that Liam's pic will be useful in the future cuz you can't equip it for anything. I wonder if it can be placed in the home... neutral
Yer lucky cuz, I had to spend gold at the marketplace for a blue bass & one of the butterflies. I wasted about 2500 gold on those... gonk
