Usagi turned her head to one side, then the other. There was something they were forgetting, something they lacked. However, she could not figure out exactly what it was. "I think..." she started slowly, "...we should just wait it out and let it come to us as needed."
Luna turned to face Usagi and gave her a very stern look. "Usagi, we don't have time to procrastinate."
The scolding, however, just caused Usagi to grin. She was quite amused by ther young child's attempts to be serious and condescending. "Gomen ne... demo... I think we're just wasting time and energy on this. We're not getting anything done now."

"While we're here doing useless things the enemy is making their move." Rei spoke up at last as she seemed as aggitated as Artemis did. "There has to be some way to re-awaken the powers we have within us." And a frusterated stomp of her foot as she just couldn't figure it out. Simple transformation phrases wouldn't work, the Ginzouhishou was no more, and there were no bracelets or crystals that could aid their changing.
Artemis looked up at the sky, wishing there was a moon out or something, so he could call to the spirit of Queen Serenity to help. She had helped the first time, and now maybe she could help again. His green eyes closed as he whispered... "Queen Serenity, please, we must save the universe again, we need your help... the fate of the Earth depends on it."

Nephrite smirked as he wrapped up his hand. "So I missed her? Ah, too bad." He sighed. Great, does that mean that Beryl-sama is back? Good...

Makoto closed her eyes and tried to feel a sealed off energy inside of her. It was there...a way to transform, but it was opening slowly, just not very much. It seemed like that at this rate, it would take a year or more for it to open up completely...unless...they could bring it out by purposely risking their lives. "We were each feeling a strong emotion weren't we? Perhaps a strong enough emotion can be brought out when we purposely put ourselves at risk. I'm not saying we try to kill ourselves, but perhaps by doing risky things, we can help bring out the ability to transform. Demo...we may need to know the words we need to transform before we try it. And we definitely don't want to do anything too risky. Just...slightly risky. We should do it in an open area with low population so we are free to let as much emotion needed to attempt the transformation. As a last resort, we should at the very least learn Martial Arts. This will help us do at some fighting until we are able to transform." Even as she said these words, Makoto was unsure of whether they were intelligent, or just foolish advice. She opened her eyes and looked at everyone.

Jadeite sighed. "Well, I don't really know. It's just that all day I've been having a strange feeling. I can almost sense that something bad is going to happen. And when I saw him, that feeling grew much worse than before. So I guess I just assumed he was the cause of it." He noticed that the Master didn't seem to be too worried, and Jadeite started to think that maybe he was overreacting a little bit. If Master didn't think that guy was dangerous, he would just try to focus on something else right now. He would focus on the important thing - protecting him. "What do you think we should do?" He asked.

Mamoru had come to trust the instincts of his Shitennou. Whether is was from his experiences in this life, or something left over from the past, he wasn't sure, but if Jadeite felt uneasy about something, it would be worth looking into. "Perhaps Kunzite could shed some light on this. Do you think he would be at home?"
'Damnit, did he have to show up right now?' Zoisite thought to himself. "I was simply trying to get some answers about what happened today," he replied, trying very hard to concentrate on returning to his human form. It was proving to be difficult with the room spinning.
Kunzite looked at the other man curiously. "So you heard about Mio then?" he said, remembering the Zoisite had not been present to see that the shadow had returned. He took a few more steps into the room, walking around so that he could see Zoisite's face. "Are you feeling alright?"

Usagi turned to look at Makoto. "Put ourselves at risk?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly. Despite all she had been through, she was still a little afraid to put herslf in danger - especially for no reason! Putting her life on the line to defend the important people in her life was another story, of course.

Jadeite nodded. He agreed that asking Kunzite about this was a good idea. "I'm not sure, but I think that he would be at home right now." He replied. He wanted to know what was happening, and not having enough information about the situation was starting to make him a little bit frustrated. He hoped that Kunzite would be at home, and that he would be able to help them.

Mamoru nodded, "then let's take a detour in that direction. It's only a few minutes from here anyway." Even if Kunzite didn't know anything about that other man, it wouldn't hurt to discuss why Mio was still around, if she was still around that is.
'Mio?' Zoisite thought, surprised to hear that name again. Trying not to act shocked, Zoisite nodded in the affirmative before standing, finally able to transform back into his human form. "Excuse me, it's been a while since I used my powers like that. I'm going to go rest for a while."
Kunzite watched Zoisite suspiciously as he left the room and headed upstairs. 'He didn't know about Mio...' Kunzite was very good at reading people, and Zoisite was terrible at hiding things. 'What the hell was it then?'

This whole thing was frusterating, especially to Rei. "I'll work on finding some sort of way for us to transform again." She said in a determined manner before glancing to Makoto. "Mako-chan..." An informal address coming from the priestess. "I take it you know enough martial arts to teach us? Could I assume that you would be our teacher?" She was actually trying to organize thoughts here, and get things moving in the right direction, Minako would be proud of her, finally coming out of her shell and becoming a real senshi along with the others.
Artemis had zoned out for a moment or two, and brushed a hand through his own hair, before he perked some. "For now, you girls have to defend yourselves, we can't go worrying about the rest of the world and universe right now." A pause before he glanced to Luna. "You girls work on the martial arts aspect, Luna and I will continue working to find a way to get you to tap into the planetary powers once more."

It was true that Makoto knew some Martial Arts, but whether or not she was capable of teaching she didn't know. "I...will try." she said. "I know enough to teach basic defense, but... I am not sure that I can properly teach any offense tactics." Makoto looked at each of the girls. "If indeed we will be learning Martial Arts with me as the teacher, I will have to get some Martial Arts tapes."

"Okay." Jadeite agreed. He was glad that they were heading home. He didn't doubt his own powers to protect The Master, but he didn't know what they were going to be up against. He hoped that any of the other Shitennou were home; he thought that it might be better if they all were together in one place.

This whole situation was rather confusing for Mamoru. It would be nice to sit down and sort everything out. Why had Mio returned? Who was that man in Crown? Why was Zoisite hiding something? Mamoru was lost in these thoughts as they approached the older home.
When he reached his room, Zoisite collapsed on the bed. "I'm an idiot" he said out loud to himself. 'I should have known that he was going to fight me like that. I shouldn't have poured all my energy into that one attempt.' He closed his eyes, there was no point in trying to fight sleep. He needed to regain his strength if he was going to try and convince Danburite again.

"Hai, hai," Luna agreed, nodding enthusiastically. She and Artemis were there to help the Senshi with all things related to the past life and their Senshi powers, after all. This would have to be their job. Of course, being able to do something again thrilled the young girl. It had been a while since she had felt truly useful.
