You don't understand it, he said, holding her closely. He does what's best for my sister and I... he stuttered, trying hard to find the right words. He only tells me these things because he cares...

Hotari trembled as she wanted to scream. He doesn't care, Tragedy. He's. Jealous. He hates that you're better than he is... she said in a low tone, her voice wanting to take on flight of it's own and continue.

Tragedy shook his head and sighed. Whatever you say, Hotari... it's not like I have to deal with him anymore, right? he said, holding her to him. Let's ... let's just forget about this...

Hotari was rather hurt that he didn't believe her. She'd never led him wrong before, and she certainly wouldn't do so now. She sighed and shook her head as he held her. it's never going to go away... she sighed against him, covering her face. No matter what anyone says, it's going to happen...you're going to keep hurting yourself...

I won't keep hurting myself, Hotari... he sighed, trying to reassure her. I don't have to deal with my father, I'm trying my hardest to understand, and I'm not going to hurt myself...

Hotari wasn't sure if Tragedy was just saying this to make her feel better or if he meant it, but at the moment, it seemed to calm her. She looked to him, her eyes more turquoise than their typical green. She wanted to cling to him and leave him there at the same time, but chose to cling to him. She burried her face against his chest and cried as she held onto him tightly, wishing with every fiber of her being for him to be telling her the truth. I just wanna go home, Tragedy...I just want you to take me home... she sobbed against him, clinging to his coat. I want you to stay and hold me... she mumbled, trying to quite herself in his layers of fabric.

Alright, I'll take you home... he said, orbing the two of them to Hotari's bedroom.

Charlotte walked into the coffee shop slowly. She was was looking for a small quiet place to think and she had heard of this place not long ago. Choosing a small out of the way spot she sat down and glanced at the menu. She wondered if she had to order to stay. crossing her fingers she bent her head in obvious deep thought. Recently she had recieved two letters in the mail. THe first had been from her sister's son's school. Apparently her sister had recently departed and her son now needed a place to say. she had been the first thought of as his farther was unkown,She now had a moody 15 yr old coming in what was guessed 5 wks. THe second was a letter of eviction and Charlotte wondered where she would stay and how she would pay the rent.

A waitress walked up-she was obviously annoyed however she held a non faltering smile. of course she would,I am a potential customer after all Charlotte thought looking at the woman
Can I take your order? The woman asked predictably I'd like to recomend the days special.
Charlotte sighed, she had rather hoped to avoid this however it seemed it would not be so.
I'll take a small latte,if you have it
THe woman walked off with a nod of acknowledgement and quickly left.

Closing her eye's she concentrated on some of the adds she had seen in the paper this morning. One particular add had struck her and she pulled out the add from her pocket. It sounded reasonable and it had the necissary basic. Of course living with others was always a bonus. It was a flat.An apartment. A living space. She hoped there would be room for both her and her coming nephew.

Jescobe yawned, slinking into the coffee house. It was too early for him, and Itzuki had, as predicted, drank all the coffee. Now he was forced into public at his worst, just to get a cup of the caffinated god he so worshiped. He plodded over to an unoccupied table and sat down, thunking his head onto the cold wood, mumbiling his order when the waitress whirled by. "The strongest coffee you've got with four creamers, and six sugars." Finally he raised his head when he felt himself drifting off again, and tiredly scratched the back of his neck, noticing for the first time that he'd left the house with his hair down. Great. At least he had somehow managed to comb it and was looking somewhat good.

"It's just a coffee shop," Sophiel whispered to herself, staring in barely disguised fear at the building across the street. She couldn't seem to stop herself from imagining all the things that could -- would! -- go wrong: she could fall flat on her face, spill whatever she ordered on to the person nearest her, order the wrong thing and have to explain herself...
"Oh..." the short witch squeaked as she watched a red-haired boy casually walk in. They always made it look so easy! She bit her bottom lip nervously, shifting the small stack of books she held in her arms, and with sudden bravado, crossed the street and opened the door to the shop, slipping inside.
And nothing bad happened! In fact, it seemed no one even noticed her. Her gaze carefully trained to the floor, Sophiel maneuvered her way around the mingling people and to an unoccupied table. She set her books on the surface, glancing around carefully before she sat down.
