"Hmm, broke even..." Hikaru muttered as one of the figures again landed in the van. This time there was no bonus, so she simply earned back the tokens she'd spent on the last attempt. Shrugging, she pressed bravely onward in her quest to win big.

The same result as last time. This wasn't going quite as well as Hikaru had hoped, but she had nothing going for her if not an incredible amount of willpower. Gritting her teeth and putting on a serious expression, she grabbed the dolls once again and kept hurling them toward the van.

Plunk, plunk! went the two figurines as they landed in the van. Hikaru grinned as ten tokens came sliding back her way. "Now that's more like it!" she said, pumping her fist in the air energetically. Maybe this was where she'd get on a big winning streak! Grabbing up the figures again, she once again lobbed them out toward the van.

...Or not. All of the figures missed this time, and there was no random bonus, either. Hikaru frowned as her five tokens were collected from her. That was half of her winnings from last time! She was right back where she'd started from before that last win! Determined to make the tokens back, she slid five more across the counter.

Broke even again. This game really seemed to be getting her nowhere fast, but she really believed that this would be the one she'd win big at. Grabbing up the figures, she tossed them toward the van again with renewed resolve and purpose.

And again! This was really getting irritating. Hikaru stubbornly slid her five token winnings back at the man behind the counter, utterly determined to make a better showing at this game than she had so far. She flung the figures at the van as hard as she could, hoping somewhere in the back of her mind that getting all fired up over the game would help her win.

"Two in again! All right! That's more like it!" Hikaru called out excitedly, flashing a V for victory sign to no one in particular as she won again and grinning widely. Deciding that she was now on the path to victory and as many tokens as she wanted, she gathered up the tiny figures again, flinging them back toward the van.

A big win this time! Three of the figures landed in the van, and the BONUS light above the game lit up as well! Hikaru was jumping for joy as a whopping twenty-three tokens came sliding her way. Sliding five of them back across, she eagerly took her next try at the game.

Not as spectacular a showing this time. None of the figures went in, but the BONUS light did save Hikaru from a complete loss. Apparently she must have been a little too excited about the big win last time, and didn't concentrate hard enough. She was beginning to calm down, though, so hopefully the next throw would yield better results.

Much better! Two of the figures landed squarely in the van, and the BONUS light flashed brighter than it had all day so far. Fourteen tokens were the reward for such a good showing, nine of which Hikaru kept, spending the others on her next attempt. She was determined to break 100 before the day was done.

And another two in! This was starting to really turn around, and Hikaru had just hit 100 tokens even, after paying for her current play. Grinning ever wider, she eagerly grabbed up the little dolls again, tossing them toward the van for all she was worth. She'd increase her count even more with these last few games, she could feel it.

Another even break. Oh well, nothing to get upset about - at least she wasn't losing tokens, after all! Still grinning, and not letting it get her down, Hikaru enthusiastically took her next turn at the game, knowing that it would be one of her last for the day.

Hikaru frowned. She missed everything again. The BONUS light was only a slight consolation, as the three pity tokens came sliding across the counter. She'd fallen below her daily goal of 100 tokens, and only had one more play in which to make it up. "Better make it a good one..." she said to herself before tossing the figurines one last time.

"Woo! That's better!" Hikaru cheered as one of the figures landed in the van. The BONUS light once again began flashing as well, netting her an extra 3 tokens and placing her just over her 100 token goal for the day. Satisfied with her work, she nodded, pocketing her tokens and walking off.
