Hi everyone, I'm new to this insane asylum so this is where I check in, I guess.
I'm a really new Death Note fan, because as far as I know, it was only released where i live in december of 05. I got DN 1 from my friend Sarah as a christmas present (along with chocolate pocky, gods bless the woman) and i was an addict from then on. i've only read vols. 1-4, but i'm supposed to borrow vol 5 from my brother's friend.
Favorite Death Note character: L and Light (L mostly though
Least Favorite Death Note character: I dunno. I don't have one
Favorite Pairing (het, yaoi,yuri, whatever): I think L and Misa would look cute together.... L and anyone would look cute together
Do you want a Death Note: I think it could have some positive atributes, but probably not
What would you do if you found a Death Note: probably not do anything with it, try to make the world a better place.... not as extremely as Light-san though
If your name was written into the death note, how would you want to die: not sure
What would be the details of your death: blow myself up trying to blow something up or something like that... I'd want to go quick, and fairly young.... no old creepy body for me, thank you

Hey guys! I'm new here. Death Note is my all-time favorite manga EVER and it all started like this...
Once upon a time in a small town, there was a fifteen-year-old Freshman in an art class. He had a friend who was also fifteen years old and in his art class when they went to an art tour one day.
"Can you bring me a graphic novel to read?" asked the boy, seeing as he had never read a graphic novel and thought up to this point, they're stupid, but hey, they might be pretty good.
"Sure!" said his friend jovially. "I'll bring you Juvenile Orion."
Blah, blah, blah, we'll skip all the boring parts. The next day...
"Here!" said his friend cheerfully, handing him a mysterious black graphic novel with a pinkish cross on the cover. "This is Death Note. It's really creepy! I love it!"
"All right...," said the boy, unsure of himself.
That night, the boy read and read and couldn't stop reading until...he was FINISHED!!! *dun dun dun* The next day at school...
"Hey!" said the boy. "Do you have the second one?"
"No, but I want it!" said his friend.
That night, the boy went out and bought all three that were out and bought the fourth one when it came out and also #5. To this day, the boy is waiting anxiously for #6 to be released.

Hey there. My name's Jon and I'm a farily new DN fan. I picked up the first volume at Hastings and have been an addict ever since. I pretty much like all the character, save the odd ones on the squad. If I had a deathnote, I would definately use it like Light did. 'Cept, I'd probably get caught pretty quick 'cause I ain't so smart. If my name was to be written in a Deathnote, I'd want to die doing something heroic or worthwhile (as if someone would write tha down. oh well.) PM me whenever ya want.
