I'm not sure it's exactly fair to say HOW powerful Supes would get.
Does he ever show an advantage, as in, double strength from double light?
Something in numbers.
And Goku rarely ueses Taiyoken.
It becomes obsolete later in the series, however it is always a possiblity.
Supes would gain incredible strength, considering how much stronger Goku has gotten. (The technique would increase as well.)
Also, their personalities seem to me as if they would be great friends.
Maybe that's just me?

It's not like the thought of Superman asking Goku to join the Justice League hasnt crossed my mind lol. And yea they seem like they wold be pretty cool.

I was also thinking of a match-up such as Goku and some fellow allies VS Superman and some fellow allies.
Possibly a 2-on-2 or 3-on-3, just with Goku and Supes on seperate sides.

That comic was...so beutiful...*sniff* All we need now is the so happy together song, and it'll be perfect.
Anyway, to bad I kinda missed the end of the main argument. Ah well. The Solar Flair, with the exeption of the first time it was used by Tien, has only been used for one purpous. That being "holly crap I don't stad a chance in hell at beating this guy, I better use Solar flair and run away as fast as I can". I'd put the odds of Goku using it against Supes at somewhere below .01.
THe Keoken kinda became obsolete after SS, and "Super Kioken" didn't even exist in the manga. Oh, and it can go above x20, that's just the highest we see it go.

Enigma Master Andrew Ok now that I buy. Just throwing this out there but arent DBZ attacks planet busting because they have a negative effect with the planets core or something like that or is it Sheer power? Common misconception. Freezer destroyed Namek by making the planet's core unstable thus creating a belated planetary exsplosion(took about five minutes, or 10 30min episodes, for it to blow). It's never stated how the other planet busting attacks work. Jerhien Enigma Master Andrew I'm not trying to b***h out of this debate by saying this or trying to go back on what I said but. I'm seeing this as more of a tie now depending on which of them does what when. I see it as comeing down to not physically but based on powers in which I believe it's a toss up although I must say 3 times out of five Goku would probably win. However if it came down to Physically just going blow for blow until they're both exaughsterd I see Superman winning the 3 times out of five then. Not really. Superman may be more booksmart then Goku, but Goku is supposed to be the most skilled fighter in his GALAXY. Never fails to mannoy me that people overlook the fact that Goku is supposed to be an innately talented Martial Arts Genius, able to shift and alter his fighting style instantaneously to counter his opponents. Sure he's goofy, but he's supposed to be the penultimate fighter as well, so we should really give hand to hand skill to Goku as well. I'd actualy would have to give the most skilled fighter in the galixy to Cell. He's got all the skills of Goku, Tien, Piccolo, Vageta, and others all wraped up in one green incectiod liitle package.

Is kind heartedness and nobility a factor here? Irecall Goku sacrificing his life before but has he ever did the right thing even though he REALLY didnt want to? Superman went to save Darkseid's world from Brainiac. If you dont know the history there. Darkseid humiliated Superman. Marched him down the street half naked and tortured him infront of millions. He brainwashed him and turned him loose like a toy sending him to conqure a number of worlds and then finally Earth where he almost killed Supergirl. And to top it all off he killed Officer Dan Turpin one of Superman's best friends infront of him.

No, I wouldn't consider it a factor at all.
And no, Goku has never done the right thing even if he didn't want to. Reason being: He always wants to do the right thing. He never forces himself to do it.

A better way to put it would be Superman does the right thing even when he knows it's a trap and his gut tells him not to do it.
