"Hidjie... you've changed."
She said slowly before looking back to Iris. She pressed her lips into a frown as she heard talk about a base on a planet. 9 began to tap her foot in time with her index finger on the table as she sat up in her chair.
"What info do you need from me? I will help as much as I can but I'm not sure how much help I'll be. Oh and I too would like to hear more about this planet that was found. Now is there anything else you wish to talk about?"

"Only a bit." He looked over at 9 with the same cold eyes as he held earlier. "Alright Captain...she's stumped, give her the run down of exactly what we have been talking about for the past few weeks. Excluding the planet...that's my own grudge to worry about." Hidjie pushed himself forward in his chair and pressed a button. A screen rose up and images began to flash in them. Sensor data, weapon read outs, tact data, structure build, almost anything anyone could imagin was being loaded into Hidjie's NEW body. This one was state of the art and sent his old body, the one MSC gave him, to shame. It was equipted with a dirrect link to the Leviathan's main computer, so he processed things so fast his body didn't even have time to react. His fingers were a blur over the keyboard as letters began to punch onto the screen. After a few minutes Hidjie stopped, but the letters kept comeing! He was faster then the computer was.

Iris nodded, curtly, before he spoke. "Alright 9-Lives, here's the gist of things. So far we've built enough Trooper 2's to level just about anything that anyone can throw at us...but the admiral says that it's not enough. I disagree with that fact and I'm asking him to consider a pre-emptive strike. He told me that they're now YOUR soldiers, so I need the go ahead through you. Now, we know the location of Mastema. Taking him down would probably be the first objective. I understand that we don't know exactly what we're going to be up against, that's why I suggest two waves, the first one consisting of a lance or two of Trooper 2's, and the second consisting of four of five lances. The problem with that is the space...looking down at the terrain it doesn't look like it would support five lances of anything, let alone T2's. That's why I suggested carpet bombing, though the admiral makes a good point when he says that the turrets that Mastema uses could easily wipe out an aero-fighter. Then I suggested orbital bombardment, I know the risks...though I suppose he says they are too great." Iris paused for a second as he looked down at his console. "Alright then, straight down to the point. We need to know what Mastema has to use as a shield and what to use as a spear...that's why I implore you to consider sending in a strike force."

"And I warn you against it. We don't know whether or not Mastema will attack...we DO know that Shadow will. Just something to juggle around." He didn't even bother looking up from his screen when he spoke, he had more important things to do.

Hidjie's chair scrapped against the metal hull as the screen retracted into the table. "She has no idea Captain..." Hidjie pushed his chair in and started towards the door, "Don't worry about it 9-lives, I'll take care of everything." The way he said the was so odd, almost as if he WAS planning on taking care of EVERYTHING himself.

"Yes adimral." Iris stood when Hidjie did, his attention fixated on the ranking officer. Almost completely ignoreing 9-lives he made his way around the table and walked up beside Hidjie. He leaned his head close and began to whisper into his ear.
Sherly stood up from her rythmatic rapping at the keyboard of her terminal, "You'll have to forgive them." she started as she pushed her chair in, "They're so wrapped up in their work they don't even realize what's going on outside. I doubt either of them had seen the intel reports from the surface. Here..." Reaching into the 3 or 4 inch pile of paper Sherly pulled out several different sheets of paper. "Those are combat forums...you need to fill those out as soon as possible." The top sheet had the words 'Soldier Transfer Forums.' The sheet below that was 'Acknowledgement to use Bombings.' The one below that said something along the lines of 'Galactic Resource Management' The fourth had no bold print, but several places to sign. Another paper said something along the lines of 'Removal of Liability.' One of the last few papers held the title, 'Incase of an Emergancy.' And the final one read, 'Planetary Respect Act.' Sherly dropped the pappers infront of 9 as the screen retracted into the table, "Those forums give you permission to use the Leviathan as a buffer, but not a tool...that's what it appears you're leaning towards. They also remove all liability from the Leviathan and her crew should an occurance rise and we're forced out of the system. The final one would be the most interesting for you though. It protects the rights of the planet, as well as it's inhabitants...as long as you fill those forums out neither the Captain or the Admiral could drop a single soldier onto the surface without your concent." She paused for a minute, considering whether or not it was a good idea to give 9-Lives such control over the Leviathan. "Men tend to be too gung-ho for their own good." She smiled softly and took her coffee mug from the table. "You can choose to fill them out now, or later...I, unfortunatly, have much more to do here in the breifing room, so any questions you may have I'd be glad to answer." Hidjie and Iris were long gone before Sherly even started talking about the release papers.

9 stopped at the door and let out a slow breath
"I undrestand just fine. And you you can to what ever YOU want."
She turned again and walked out into the hall and started heading to loading bay.

Sherly sighed, the woman really didn't have a clue. "Poor girl..." She sighed to herself as she took the head of the breifing table and returned to her work. There was no one and nothing to guide 9-Lives through the giant maze that was the command level, let alone the massive Leviathan!

"Captain...captain...CAPTAIN! I don't care! Blow the damn planet up for all I care!" Hidjie was almost into the docking bay, he needed a ride back down to the surface.

"Yes sir..." Iris followed Hidjie until he came to the command shuttle, which Hidjie boarded. Quickly retreating back behind the shield line Iris watches as the shuttle lifts off and flies into space. ((I'm really sleepy...so I'm done for the night.))

((Seeing as this thread seems to be the main space area,I'm posting this here.It also has to do directly with Hidjie. So that's another reason...also..I don't want to make a new thread yet because that would further confuse things. And yes,The MSCMCC has a good reason to have a shuttle etc etc.))
A small probe drifted slowly through the depths of space.Smaller then the average fighter,it was evidently a short-range probe. Most likely the type designed to be deployed in-system,to scan the system. Why it would be floating this deep alone is unanswered. No message is sent by the probe. It merely continues to drift. It is obviously still active, though the data it sends is heavilly encrypted. Most of it's data being scans of the current system.
