((Oh man, I forgot to re-post when we stopped. Sorry about that.))
Zhuke waited to hear out the rest of her story, but noticed the change of tone in her voice. He waited awhile, gathering his thoughts.
"That's just how it goes." he said, remembering his subordinates that died saving him when he was 12 in the operation Purple Haze. "Karma, what comes around goes around. Since they've killed my parents, I kind of understand that they wanted me to have a chance in life since it wasn't my fault I was involved. They helped me back on my feet, so now we're even. I want absolutely no connections with the Mercenary Leagues." he said, trying to help Anysi out by explaining.

"The people you've killed," Anysi began, looking towards him, wiping the corners of her eyes a bit. "Were they good or bad?" She questioned, for she didn't know much about the Mercenary League. Whether or not that were an organization who killed the evil or good was a fact she was unsure of.

"I don't know. They've taught me something I shouldn't have though." he said, resting his elbows on the counter. " 'Kill the target before you identify them. You'll regret it if you don't.' That's total bullshit. If I went with that, she would've been dead already." he said, some-what displeased and relieved.

"I always know my targets." Anysi said matter-of-factly, looking away from Zhuke as she spoke. "In fact, I always do research on them. Then, I'll find them, get to know them, toy with their minds a bit, and if their men I get them drunk in a second." She said laughing a bit as she did so, trying not to get saddened by the idea of all the people she had killed. "The only thing that bothers me is I know that most of the people I've killed are those who became targets just because they wouldn't accept darkness..." Like my family..

"That's how conflicts always are in the world. They all start by different opinions." he said from his knowledge. He wondered what she really regretted about killing people that wouldn't accept darkness. He shrugged it off, not wanted to get too deep into her memories.

"And then people are stubborn about their ideas." Anysi then added with a smirk, referring to the fact that she was incredibly stubborn. "But don't worry, Sissy, you've convinced me of a few things."

"Who's worrying, pansy?" he replied, playing along. "But you are right, people can be extremely stubborn, which fuels conflicts." he noted, not realizing she was referring to herself some-what.

"True." Anysi said simply, not enjoying the conversation all too much. Talking about things that caused her conflict or such were fine, but when it came to the world in general she tended to get a bit bored. Glancing over to her side, she noticed the beach, yearning to go out there. Then again, she had never been a huge fan of the beach. The people there were always a smile bunch, and she hated that type. Even so, sitting in the cafe was not all that enjoyable. If they were at a bar things would be different, considering there would be much more entertainment there, but at a cafe? No.
"Hmm, want to go somewhere?" Anysi asked, her eyes averting towards his direction, as she rested her elbows on the counter and her head in her palms.

"I don't know. Just someplace other than here. This place is so booooring." She replied, shrugging as she did so. She really had no idea where she desired to go, all she knew was that she yearned for adventure, and that most definitely was not going to come about in a cafe by the beach.

"Well, we could try the beach." he said, looking out the window. "It's pretty quiet at this time of day. Also the moon gives it a calm atmosphere." he replied, remembering what Maria had told her at the piers.

"Calm isn't very exciting..." Anysi mumbled quietly to herself. "Well, I guess that's okay." She concluded, standing up as she did so. "Except, I'm not exactly dressed to get in the water."

"Who said we were swimming?" he asked, getting out of his chair and walking towards the door. In truth, Zhuke had never really liked swimming. He did however, love rain. It was ironic in a way, but he didn't mind.
