Kai was on the roof, laying back and staring at the stars deep in thought. A burst of lilies broke him out of his trance, and he smirked. The girls of our clan and their lilies...I wonder if Sayuri knows that all the females of our clan are obsessed with them...
Meanwhile, Taki and Mizu both fell asleep on the floor of Mizu's room.

Sayuri stood up looking up at the roof. Somebody there? Maybe, maybe not. The moon and stars were great in view, who wouldn't go up there?
"Well, wouldn't hurt to try, right?" she said "Hey, somebody up there?"

Kai remained silent but spelled out his name in front of her with water.
He smirked, seeing a shooting star flying across the sky, I wish that all these family matters will just sort themselves out. Mizu wants to be head...Taki wants...well...me i guess....

Looking at the water-spelled name in front of her, Sayuri smiled.
"Kai, huh. Well, we never had a family talk so..."
Sayuri, using her chakra, walked up a nearby tree, and stood on the branch. Then she took a jump to her balcony window, then the roof. She did trip a bit when she landed, but she regained her balance.

"Hn." Kai nodded to acknowledge Sayuri's presence. His thoughts turned back to the stars, looking at those, to him, familiar stars, but to anyone from the eastern hemisphere, stars that have never been shown before.

"Well, guess you've noticed I'm here now, huh?" said Sayuri, walking over. "Since we've never had a family talk, I thought we'd start."
As she got close, Sayuri thought about which subject to start off on. It... was obvious to her that Kai wasn't the speaking type.

"Hn." Kai didn't like people within a 4 feet radius of him, aside from battles and sparring. Directly underneath him was Mizu's and Taki's room, and, red eye activated, smirked as he noticed they were both on the floor. He glanced over at sayuri for a second, then disappeared through the roof and into Mizu's room. Soon, Mizu was in her bed, Taki on her's, and Kai sitting on the roof a comfortable distance from Sayuri.

As Kai got back, Sayuri finally found a subject to talk about, but she hoped that it wasn't too personal.
"Kai, what was life for you here in the village?" she asked

"Academy, being chased by fangirls, living off the money my parents left me...learning to cook from Taki, meeting the twins, being accepted despite my bloodline by them...." Kai responded, never taking his attention off the stars. Kai'd never admit it, but he and the twins were very close friends.

"Sounds like you've got a close bond to Mizu and Taki. I wish I had that life back then..." said Sayuri, finding herself looking at the moon. "I've never really had a home after our clan was chased out. I've lived mostly in the forest. I've lived in a hut, but that was before they found out about my bloodline and chased me out of the village. Then, I ended up here a year later."
