"W-wait.. for me.." Taerel said ten feet behind him, trying to catch up at a slow jog. She was usually tired after eating a big meal, especially because of her small size.

Kai slowed down as he reached the edge of the land, then let himself down. His hair waving from side to side as he tilted his head right then left. "Relax, Im not trying to loose you or anything." He informed to the sound of footsteps behind him. He leaned back on his elbows, and listened to crickets. "So what did you want to do out here?" He asked, wondering why she wanted to go to the lake in the first place.

Taerel quickly caught up to Kai and sat next to him. "I know." she smiled, rubbing the back of her head.
"Hmm.. Why..?" she was half asking herself the same question.
"I don't really know why. I just wanted to go.. somewhere." she said with a smile on her face, the kind you could not read, no matter how hard you thought about it.
She randomly began to pick the grass out of the ground and throw it into the lake, just to watch them create ringlets in the still water. She began to hum as she did so.

Picking herself up, "Nothing is going to come out of crying. All what I have to do is stop drewling in the past, and start looking to the future. That's what I have to do." Removing glasses and letting her hair down, she moves forward the place she once belonged, and farther away from a world she never wishes again to return to.

Sylph soon fell asleep on the bench, the cool air blowing his hair. His cigarette burnt of the butt still between his lips.
"What I'm I doing?" he thought still asleep

She wanders into the courtyard and looks around. She walks around a bit avoiding anybody else who might be there. She stops in front of a huge tree and smiles a rare smile. She puts her pack down off her shoulder and sits down next to it, her back against the tree. She sighs and mumbles, "What have you gotten into now?"

Kai let his elbows rise from supporting his weight, then dropped on his back. The hair strands swaying with the breeze across his forhead, and over his eyes. There where times he lied down like this and wished he could fall into the sky, and never come back down. But at the same time, simple education taught him that his body would explode once it left the atmosphere. "Well, at least I got some food." He grunted, trying not to show his relaxed side.

Taerel began to grow bored of sitting down.
She took off her oversized boots before hovering her foot over the water.
Should I?
She shifted her weight to the foot over the water. She immediately sunk into the water up to above her knees. She expected to fall into ankle high water. She quickly grabbed the edge of the bay.
"C-c-cold!!"

She looks around for a little bit then sees the forest. Curious, she grabs her bag and heads towards it. She put on the backpack and then started to braid her hair as she walked.

Amitia noticed that the boy had seen her. She blushed and looked quickly away.
'How embarrasing. Now he probably thinks I'm a crazy stalker.'
She turned away and took a few steps - but suddenly stopped.
'What about the spirit? Aren't you curious at all?' she said to herself in her mind. She still felt the spirit near the boy. What was it, and why-
She almost turned back, but finally decided to stay where she was and to keep an eye on the boy. She slowly sat down and stared at the grass, sensing the spirit near.

Bastion turned one eye to Taerel. At first it was slightly annoyed, having been caught off guard by the sudden submersion, then seemed rather amused. He began to smile, then lightly chuckle to himself. He soon rose himself up into sitting position. "I could make that so much colder, you know." He said with a sly smirk.

After several failed attempts to get out of the water, Taerel just stood there in the water, still with one hand holding onto the edge.
"Eh?" she said as if she had not heard correctly, tilting her head to one side. It had not fully registered in her mind that she was not the only one here with a supernatural gift.

Bastion watched the poor girl try to get out. He shook his head with another laugh and extended his hand to her. "I ment that I happen to be an ice elementalist." He informed.

Taerel took his hand and pulled herself out. She sat on the very edge of the lake and waded her feet in the water. Small fish passed by them curiously, darting away when she would kick her feet.
She turned to Kai, not really knowing what to say.
A.. what now..?
"That.." she paused.
"That is so cool, Kai!!" she said, throwing her fist into the air.

Kai sat back down, looking at his reflection in the water. "Yeah..." He said solemly. "I guess it is kind of cool." He placed his palm on the surface of the water, creating light ripples. Kai closed his eyes. And slowly the water around it began freezing, along with the ripples. A five inch radius in a nearly perfect circle. Kai removed his hand and looked at the ice, floating in the surface. "Well, other than that talking cat, what powers do you have?" He asked, casting his sapphire eyes on Taerel.
