I read a bit of it in Shoujo Beat this morning. It's pretty good, and funny. ^^I've noticed that Riiko looks a little like Aya from Ceres, Night looks like Frey from Alice 19th without his braid, and Soshi looks like Kyo from Alice 19th with glasses. The plot's good too, so I'm really enjoying the reads.

Aleyn of Farronbrook I read a bit of it in Shoujo Beat this morning. It's pretty good, and funny. ^^I've noticed that Riiko looks a little like Aya from Ceres, Night looks like Frey from Alice 19th without his braid, and Soshi looks like Kyo from Alice 19th with glasses. The plot's good too, so I'm really enjoying the reads. Yeah, I find that alot of Yuu Watase's characters look alike. Riiko and Aya also look like Tanpopo from Imadoki!. And I think that Soshi also looks like Koki from Imadoki!. Anyways, I like the plot for this story very much although I have only read two chapters. sweatdrop But those two chapters were enough to get me intrested in this series. ^_^;

I only read the first of Absolute Boyfriend because Hawaii only has the first at the moment, i'm so annoyed. I wish I could order things off the net but i'm not allowed to crying

I read it. I think only the first one is out, but I do know that they have book two in japanese on amazon. i thought the story was completely different from other works of Yuu Watase, but I still enjoy reading it very much.

At first, I read parts of it in Shoujo Beat, the July issue. I never seemed to have found it in the bookstore until then, so I bought it. I got interested, and so I bought the August issue and Volume 1 of Absolute Boyfriend as well.
It really does have an interesting enough plot, but it makes Riiko sound really, really desperate... which I suppose she was at that point.

I liked the series, but I really don't like Riiko.
She does come off as very desperate. I never really liked Night either.

This series is great! It's absolutely hilarious! I can't wait for Volume 2! Yuu Watase's mangas/animes are irresitable!

She was desperate, since she got dumped a lot of times. but everything changed when she met her shining armor, Night heart

I read this series earlier this year. I liked it.
It's been a long time since I read it all the way through, but I do remember that I liked Night. The way he's so naive about things since he's a figure... Very charming. And how he's always "Yay! Nudity!" just makes me laugh. biggrin
Riiko didn't strike me as terribly likeable or severely hateable, she's just very average. *shrug* I guess that's better than being a Mary Sue.

I'm from Hawaii too.. But i subscribe shojo beat magazines through mail.. So i kinda get them every month.. and its cheaper than the regular manga book, and you can read more than one story in it 3nodding

Sasami never heard of it crying , America need to import more of her works!!!!! Its in Shojo Beat and Vol.2 just came out in the states.
