I think that Sasuke was probably training with Orochimaru, who was trying to get Sasuke to kill. But Sasuke, apparently, thinks it's a waste of time killing people he doesn't need to kill.

Call it a theory, but if Sasuke hasn't killed anyone yet, I think he might have an emotional breakdown when the first person he ever kills will be Itachi. After all, they're still connected emotionally, and a first kill is also quite emotional.

As for a Sasuke vs Sakura, I think Sakura's advantage would be the element of surprise - Sasuke has little to no idea what Sakura's strength has become, and before he can assess it, she's already beaten him up some. Sakura, on the other hand, has seen a part of what Sasuke can do, so Sasuke can't surprise Sakura as much as he could have if he hadn't shown his strength.

Did that make sense?

I think Sasuke will have an emotional breakdown even if he's killed a thousand people before Itachi. :/ But yeah, even more so if his first kill is Itachi. -hypocrite-

Another chapter that helps to prove my Chapter 308 "Sasuke Was Making an Opening and Not Trying to Kill Sakura!" Theory,.

I love how i post this up, and suddenly Kishimoto starts churning out chapters on Sasuke doing everythign to go agaisnt Orochimaru. I was so excited when I read the spoilers yesterday that I posted it in my live journal, had a freak out attack, and couldn't tell stories in chronological order.

Man. NaruSaku fans are going to HATE My SasuSaku Part 2 essay. smile I should post theories up more often... Kishimoto just might be reading them and use them for inspiration >.> *is truly being stupid there, but, is having too much fun and excitement*

Maybe this is why Shippuden opened with The Sasu Retriveal Arc... because Kishimoto was going to start up with more Sasu in the manga!

A LOT of Sasuke fans have been looking forward to this moment; me included. x___O Really. This is too good to be true. Something's going to go wrong, and a lot could..

For one thing.. wtfbbq, Sasuke, using the CURSE MARK against the guy who gave it to you?! Either he's lost his mind, is brainwashed by Kabuto[I know, wtf], or has some brilliant plan up his sleeve.

For another.. Kabuto left the room, and will be coming back. I doubt Sasuke could take on both Oro and Kabuto at the same time.

Also, before Sasuke tried to attack, Orochimaru was LAUGHING. He's not stupid, either, so he might have expected this. Who knows.. he might be able to do the body-transfer early.. >> May the gods of manga have mercy on your soul if that happens, Kishi!

And -- hah. Sakura also feeds Naruto in this chapter, because his right hand is injured, but.. it's right after he says this:

Naruto: …but…it does kinda make me happy. It feels like you and I are starting to get closer to Sasuke together.

I REALLY hope NaruSaku fans don't start jumping to conclusions. Remember Chapter 297 when Sakura was feeling useless? Perhaps Kishimoto is just trying to show that she isn't.

And also, her feeding him could just be showing how close they've gotten. Think back to the very beginning of the series, and you'll remember Sakura feeding Naruto while saying she would 'never' do that again. Yet here she is, doing exactly what she said she wouldn't.

But.. oh. x-x I am extremely giddy about this arc. If Kishimoto lets me down.. I will hate him.. ^^

Orchimaru licking his lips next to Sasuke he better put that freaking tongue back in his mouth stressed I hope Sasuke kills him.( no offense to orichimaru fans out there if there any...)

Anyway. I know a lot of people have been waiting for this. I really am believing Sasuke's going to go rogue again and run after Itachi by himself. Then either Orochi chases him or Team 7 does. Or even both.

GWAAAAAAAH! The last couple of chapters have sent me spazzing like crazy!!!!

As for the NaruSaku thing, I'm still seeing it as a brother-sister moment, or just Sakura being a medic. I may not dislike NaruSaku, but I don't like it replacing my SasuSaku either.

Whose chances, by the way, has been upped to 60% now that Sasuke's coming around. Wheee!

I'm also happy about Naruto's comment about him and Sakura. That had better be foreshadowing for when Sakura kicks Uchiha a**. (Itachi or Sasuke - it doesn't matter.)



I dunno. Perhaps their chance for glory will come with a battle with the Akatsuki? Particularly when Naruto and Sakura help Sasuke beat Itachi up?
