Rowen swung in the air, sweat falling from his face. The light focused on him made him feel like he had a fever, and he wasn't sure if he had been injected with something recently or not. Then, there was the water dripping on his hand...drip, splik...drip, splik...drip, splik...

The interrogator spoke up again, "You expect me to believe that yoroi...armors with supernatural powers have done all this damage, and that there was no agenda involved? If so, then I must inform you that we have requested aid from the American government and they have sent three aircraft carriers to help us. You do remember the Battle of Midway from your schooling? Three aircraft carriers, one of them partially damaged, silenced the entire Japanese Navy!"

Rowen panted out his breath. Between the water dripping on his head and the light shining on his face, he was sure he would crack before long. Only, if he did, the interrogator would get even angrier. "Well, I don't much care anymore," Rowen admitted. "If you're going to execute me, go right on ahead."

"No!" The interrogator shouted. "No execution for you! You have bombed the great city of Tokyo, and you are a Japanese national! There will be no forgiveness for you! You will hang from the ceiling as long as I think you must until you confess to your crimes or you perish! I do not care which comes first, as I know you are already guilty."

"Sorry pal," Rowen said, managing a grin, "I'm not the one you're after."

The interrogator slapped him across the face. Rowen spun around in a circle, the rope that tied his hands together above his head straining with the extra force put upon it. Rowen knew that he had been stupid, had let himself get caught. But, on the other hand, it was a good chance for him to find out what agenda whatever evil force it was had this time. He had to stay alive, if for no other reason than he might be able to get information from the man trying to get information out of him.

"Have you ever considered," Sage says, "That maybe the cause of all this evil to begin with is the Inferno Armor, or at least whatever it is that makes the Inferno inherently evil?"

Kento, pausing between bites, looks up in silence.

"See, that's thing I can't really figure out," Sage replies, "I know for certain that we destroyed the Inferno a while back in Tanzania, but here it is again, appearing out of nowhere and Ryo won't say where it came from or anything. I'm starting to think that we know of as the Inferno- right now- isn't really an armor but a creature pretending to be an armor in order to have control of Ryo's power."

"And yet," Sage pushes his hair back, revealing both his momentarily, "We did destroy it. I was there. I definitely remember seeing both the White Armor and the Black Armor destroyed."

"Hang on," Kento says after finishing a hamburger, "What about if the armor we know of as the Inferno isn't from this time? Maybe it travelled through time, or maybe it's a duplicate." He then rubs his temples. "Things like this make my head hurt."

"But we don't know that for sure, do we?" Sage replies. "I mean, okay, we do have new armors, but does that really mean that it has to make an Inferno? I thought the point Suzunagi was trying to make was that we had to be disconnected from the blind will to do battle without really thinking about what we were fighting for; and yet, that's what the Inferno Armor represents. I'm really starting to think that there's something deeper going on with the Ryo's mega-armor that we haven't even begun to understand yet."

Cye wakes up when he hears a knock on the door. He rubs a hand through his hair, making it more disheveled than it had been from sleeping on a couch, and saw someone he recognized at the door.

"But you're alone," Cye says.

"The two of you?" Kento asks, standing up at once. "Where's Rowen?"
