Bala opens one eye so he can see Neema snuggled by his side. He holds her tightly not wanting to let her go, not so tight that she couldnt breathe though. He smells her scent, so pretty, so sweet, so fresh. He couldnt imagine himself with anyone else but Neema, she was the one, the only one, she was his soul mate. He quietly whispers back "as long as you're here now"

Lithe limbs making easy work of the branches betwixt trees, a young leopard made his way through the jungle, headed for a crystalline pool whence he had last met company.
Much time had passed since, and the era of his cubhood had passed, leaving his body longer, stronger, and more able to traverse the area silently and swiftly. Kitambi had also grown in sense, though his vivid imagination still reigned supreme over his consciousness.

"And the hero returns to his kingdom," the juvenile muttered happily, odd smile snaking over his maw.
Many adventures had passed his time, and still the leopard fancied himself a romantic hero, who would someday traverse the sky triumphantly.

Athari froze, almost mid-air, as a strange new scent assailed his nostrils. It was another male leopard, and his curiosity was piqued. But, he needed to decide--did he continue following Tamani, or did he slink through the treetops in search of the one whose scent he was catching? Thinking for a moment, he padded back the way he came, careful that his claws didn't catch on the treebark, utterly silent amongst the canopy of leaves.

As he drew close, he heard the other young leopard mumble something, and almost fell off of his tree limb in surprise. he...he's talking to himself? he wondered, fighting a small grin. "Hey there." he called down, his low, soft voice barely carrying.

Startled Cell Jumped a little after hearing a leopard, High in a lush canopy. She ducked immediately behind a row of tall shrubbery and bushes. Through the bushes Cell watched the two leopards... Alert and quiet as to not make a sound.
She knew she had to get out of there. There may be trouble. Slowly she made her way north behind the bushes. She slunk very low, thinking as she walked. Not knowing what was to happen between the two. She made her way to safer ground to watch and still not be seen at the same time.

"I'M GONNA KILL HIM!!!"
Came the loud angered cry of a nearby animal, the grass below in the jungle moving as something moved in and out from behind the trees, obviously smaller then a leapord or something carnivorous.
"Ugh! if I ever! Catch! That stupid wildabeast who dropped me of in this place! HE'S GONNA WISH HE WAS NEVER BORN!!!"
The small creature continued to move through the undergrowth, the grass moving in a path behind it as it sniffed and scurried along the ground, flinching at any tiny sound that crossed it's ear.

((H'o, jeez, where was I? o_O *reads back a few pages* This spot saved for a post~))

Kago yelped happily, sliding to a stop by the old tree where he, Timon, and Pumbaa slept each night. Then, he paused, quivering as the scent of a new creature hit his nose. What WAS that...? It smelled so familiar!

Timon finally gave up, jumping off Pumbaa's back and stomping off after Kago. "THAT'S NOT FAIR, KAGO, YOU KNOW WE NEED A GOOD HEADSTART!" As he shouted, he put his hands on his hips out of habit, only lifting them to bat away bothersome leaves or branches that got in his way.

The creature paused, only to crawl into the undergrowth to where she heard the shouting coming from.
Her ears perked at more shouting, plus the smell of a meerkat...and a leapord.
She pushed herself against the ground, scurrying to where the big tree was, her bright blue eyes wide as the smell got stronger.
What if it was a crazed leapord? That ate her kind?? Along with other animals!!
The creature gulped, moving so only her blue eyes could see through the grass, appearing like two little sapphire pin pricks of light.

Pumbaa snorted, getting a little irritated at Timon for being so mean to their buddy. But... pumbaa would not say that aloud. Ever. He just sat there, looking at Kago with a look that said 'Pumbaa loves you still'

At the appearance of the warthog and the look on his face that was apparently directed at the leapord, the small creature, that was infact a familiar species finally sniffed the air before calling out nervously.
"H-hello?" A soft, feminine voice filtering the air gently, but loud enough for them to hear as she stayed in the safety of the grass with only her soft sapphire eyes visible to them.

Somewhere near the everlasting pool of sweetness that had been claimed oh so long ago, a snakelike black vine twitched rhythmically. A soft rumbling sound was heard nearby, giving the illusion of a thunderstorm in the distance, ebbing and flowing in uneven intervals. Every once in a while, an iridescent jade green gaze glanced around lazily, surveying all that was theirs.

Such was the common sight for midday in the jungle, as such times were exhausting in the sweltering humidity that blanketed everything in a heavy dew. It was more of an effort to stay awake in the exhausting light, than it was to sleep, and so, succuming to the way nature had intended, the green gaze and black vine slowly ceased their movements, succumbing to sleep once more.

((Unclaimed Jungle RP))

Jade eyes rolled first from one side, to the other, glancing upon her 'palace' of trees. Indeed this was her kingdom, the home she'd known all her life. In her entire existance only one lion had dared to challenge her, and even then she had won out. From the crystal clear sweet waters of the pools that were so abundant, to the lush vine-covered trees she slept in, it was all hers. She gracefully allowed others to wander in and out, but they were few and far between these days.

But one thing that sat at the back of her mind, calling her attention every once in a while, were the faces and voices of two young leopard males whom had stumbled upon her so long ago. Had it really been that long ago? It seemed like it had been forever since her cub-ness, yet in reality she'd only been a juvenile for a couple of months. Time flies when you're sure having fun, and boy was she ever. Living the life only few could ever dream of having, Tamani was want for nothing. This, indeed, was the life...

A black vine twitched against the stark contrast of the moss covered tree beneath her. A pink tongue lolled out sleepily as the jade eyes lowered closed once more. Mmmm solitude...

((UNCLAIMED JUNGLE RP))

Dusky, dark grey paws gleamed, dappled by the sunlight that flickered through the trees. It had been a long time since Athari ahd ventured forth to do much beside hunt, and sleep. Something in the air, today, however, seemed...different, as if there was a lingering, low thrum of excitement that quickened the very blood in his veins.

Getting to his feet, the juvenile leopard made his way towards the end of the sturdy branch upon which he was perched. His brown, spotted coat gleamed with good health, and his vibrant blue eyes observed the surrounding jungle curiously. It was strange, he mused, how he'd yet to encounter another since that one day, so long ago...and stranger still, why was this musing hitting him NOW, of all times. And then it hit him--a familiar scent, cloying and subtly...changed, reached his sensitive nostrils.

Curiosity at the forefront, he ventured forth, determined to see if his senses deceived him.

Being upwind of the venturer, Tamani remained blissfully unaware of her stalker. A medium toned purr rumbled forth from her throat, giving the illusion that the tree itself was making the noise as she settled further back into the shadows. Mmmm this was the life. Her tailtip flicked lightly towards the ground, a playful snake in admist the still life that surrounded her. It was too early to head out and hunt for dinner, too hot and sticky out for her tastes. Although, a tempting dip in her pool sounded fairly good, at this point. Glancing down at the tree trunk, the black leopardess pondered whether to continue napping, or to go swimming.

Vashtya
Athari stalked his prey slowly, circling around the tree from which he could detect the scent. His footfalls were silent, and his movements slow, every inch the predator. As he drew somewhat closer, he caught sight of Tamani's tail, swinging lazily before him. The temptation was too great.

With one loud, silence-shattering yowl, he playfully pounced the slender black object. It had been far too long since he'd met another creature that wasn't to be considered food, apparently.
