Ayumi sat quietly in the corner, eating her dinner and watching all the people around her. That was where she was most comfortable; sitting in the background watching everything happen. Ayumi finished her dinner and cleared her tray, setting it where all the other dirty ones were, she wondered back to her room, slipping her hand back into her pocket, she pulled out her room key and walked into her room.

Sneaky b*****d and his hidden compliments, Jun thought darkly. Taking a sip of her cocoa she smiled thinly at her old friend.
"You do that, GQ. " Retrieving one of her pastries she bit the head off, brushing crumbs from around her mouth. "Is it my fault that when you mention a tux, I see you in powder blue suit .... with thick sideburns and an afro...like the manager on Yakitate!! Japan, heehee. I can't help it." Picking up her spoon, she arched an eyebrow and began to sing into it like a microphone.
"Gotta believe, gotta believe in, gotta belive in yourself!"

Akimoto nearly choked on a piece of rice as Jun began to sing the closing theme to Yakitate!! Japan, seeing the image of the CG manager dancing in the nightclub. He took a sip of juice and cleared his throat with a cough into his fist before looking back to her. "Damn,....trying to kill me already,....I forget how funny you can be sometimes."
Sitting the chopsticks down into the bowl, Akimoto took another sip of juice and sat his cheek in his hand propped up on the table. "So,...what were you wearing? Either way, I promise not to embarrass you." He was the least bit concerned with what she would wear, she was beautiful in everything. Even in just jeans and a t-shirt with paint on covering her from head to toe, Jun's beauty brodcast itself for the world to see.

"Oh, I'll be all decked out. Tama-sama had a kimono brought in especially for me. I had been admiring the one she had ordered months ago and she went and got me one too. It's beautiful, it was almost embarassing to accept it, but to not would have been unforgiveably rude."
A mischievious glint sparkled in the young dean's eyes as she pushed her glasses up on the bridge of her nose with an index finger.
"But why would I be embarassed by how you look at the dance....I should think that would be you're date's problem. And last I checked, that wasn't me. But give me a moment, let me check my datebook."
moistening the tip of her right index finger, she held open her left hand, holding an imaginary book in her hands and procceeded to flip through invisible pages.
"Hmmm, nothing here... iie, not here either... iie... iie.. No, that does not appear to be the case, Aki." She grinned brightly at the man across the table as she snapped her imaginary datebook closed and made a big show of "putting it back in her pocket".

She was funny, but she did make one valid point. "Ah yes, I've seemed to skip over that little detail." He grinned back at Jun, still tickled at the extravogant display of hers. "Jun Yuromeshi, would you do me the honor of allowing me to escort you to the 'First Night' dance?"
Akimoto looked at her smiling at him, his heart melting at the sight of her happy. He missed that look everyday for the last 4 years, and couldn't get past his own selfish pride. "So what do you say, is it a date? Or do I have to wait for a free spot in your schedule there?"

"Iie, I think I just might be able to squeeze you in. I would love to, Akimoto Taiki." Jun giggled. He really was a charming one... he made his earlier offer of rekindling their relationship awfully tempting. But it had taken him 4 years to say this to her. Where was he when she was waiting for those words? Dating Morgi , and the Home Ec teacher before she got married, and a slew of substitutes.
Jun knew she was trying to stir up so anger, to keep Akimoto at a safe distance. But she realized she was failing miserably.

"Then it's a date, I'll make sure I have you home before curfew. No need for.....oh yeah, no more collars." He shrugged with a wide smile on his face, he was definitely going to enjoy the dance now. "So yukata for me then. Wouldn't want to disappoint Otama, that's no good for anyone, now is it."
Picking up the glass of juice, Akimoto drank the last bit and returned it to his tray. His food was already gone, eating now and tasting later much like the military. "Since the dance isn't until monday, what do you have planned for this weekend besides the crafts club? I really will help if you like, I'll try not to be so scary."

Jun shook her head, only now reaching for her second pastry and taking a small bite from it.
"How can you eat like that? I told you that's bad for your digestion. As for this weekend, besides craft club, I have no plans. I'll probably just hang out in my room if I'm not needed in the office, or play games on my computer. maybe visit a few of my favorite sites. It's not all endless paperwork you know. There are random stretches of time that go on indefinitely."

Akimoto just shrugged at his eating habits. "I don't know, 5 years of shockings for eating meals too slow tend to have an effect on you." As Jun told him her plans for the evening, a smile crossed his face at the prospact of spending some time away from the classrooms and offices with her.
"Well, if you get bored and have a little free time, just come pass my room. We can head out and do something together,....if you like. Not trying to force you into anything definite, I'm pretty flexible."

As Kiria and Shuriku entered the cafeteria Kiria suddenly stopped.
"Whats wrong?" Shuriku asked and looked the direction Kiria was facing to see Jun and Akimoto dining together.
"Don't worry. That Akimoto-brute will not harm you or are you also discusted by the idea Akimoto and Jun together?" He joked but then he saw Kiria heavily shook her head.
"I..I don't want that Jun-sensei see's me like this. I..I want to be as strong as her, and that WILL happen one day. And when it does...I will go see her again and tell her my...weakness is gone!" She smiled at the thought before she turned around and left the cafeteria.
"What DID Jun say to her" Shuriku said sighing before he followed her...

Jun pshed away her nearly completely empty tray, finishing off the last of her cooled cocoa. She giggled softly shaking her head.
"Your room? I haven't gotten that offer in quite some time, ne? So, do something like what? I certainly hope you won't be trying any of your old tricks from back when we were kids. The next thing I know I'm hiding under a blanket and wondering what the hell happened to me."
Though she was kidding, they both knew it to be the truth. Jun very rarely even realized how the situations came about. One thing would lad to another and then, well, hiding naked under the coveers, just as she said. She giggled. At least this time she wasn't a sixteen year old girl.

Akimoto chuckled at Jun as he dropped his chopsticks to his tray and slid it to the side. "Don't worry, I grew out of those tricks a few years back. But I don't know,....we could always just hit the lounge and play some games or something. If I remember right, you used to be pretty good in Soul Caliber."
He smiled but then waved off the thought as though it was an impossibility. "Nah,....nevermind. I wouldn't want to kick your a** and have you leave in a huff." He knew how she was, and still knew she was an avid gamer in her little free time. But the main thing that knew he could make her do it was her drive and determination to always prove herself. It was always one of the qualities he admired most about her, and missed having around over the past few years.

With a raised eyebrow and a sly smile, Akimoto listened to Jun rant on about STILL being better than him. "Sophitia huh,....so who's sword do you want to die by first, Mitsirugi or Nightmare.....?" When she jumped to her feet and and looked put her hands on her hips to initiate the challenge, he wanted to just grab her and kiss her right there. He always loved her forcefulness in a given situation, but instead of the kiss, he'd settle for a few rounds with Jun.
Hopping to his feet and grabbing his tray, he turned and began to walk away from the table towards the exit. Looking over his shoulder as he sat the tray on to of a garbage can, he called out to Jun with a smile on his face. "Well what are you waiting for, or are you just prolonging that little blond bitches life? Soul Caliber 3, I might just beat your a** with my 'BANKBARIAN' for the hell of it."

Narrowing her eyes, Jun snatched up her plate and made her way over to the the trash bin to dispose of it.
"It doesn't matter who you play with, I'll still maul you. Sophitia and I take all comers. Equal oppurtunity a**-kickings, ne? That's our motto." She gave Taiki a familiar poke in the chest before breezing past him, making her way to the doors.
