Use to be Cloud but now it's Lightning

Well there's prolly a reason to that. Lightning is a badass and is drop dead gorgeous. Also, shes basically the female version of cloud. Lightning was them trying to recreate the feeling of Cloud in the game. I found alot of similarities in FF7 and 13. If you pay close attention as you play, you'll see what I mean. At the beginning the black guy says. " Ex soldier" Instantly shot me back at FF7. Also, look at the shape of her face, similar to AC's cloud. All I know is they were trying to bring back the same effect 7 caused for everyone. And bring back Clouds persona in the main character only tweeking it a bit. So basically, they were trying to use FF7's popularity to create another fantastic game.

But yeah i have to lay it down like this. cause there is no just one character. that would be impossible so i will list the favs of the ones I have played or seen things i like

FF - Garland
FFii - Firion
FFiii - clouds of darkness

FFx - Auron, Waka, Rikku, Yojimbo, Jecht
FFx-2 - Pain, Gippal, Jecht(He's the only other Character I think that could go one on one with sephiroth with no issues)
FFxii - Gilgamesh, Fran
FFxiii - snow villier, lighting,
