My manager told me it was because I "just didn't seem happy there." Yeah, okay. The past two weeks have been some of the worst weeks of my life. Ick. But really, they give me like seven hours a week and expect me to be happy? Yeah, right. Gaaah!
So, what happened was, my car died the night before. Like, the alternator is dead or something, so it just stopped working. Alright, so I try calling people to see if they can come in for me but the only one that could go in for me couldn't get there till about an hour after I would be able to make. So I was all "******** it" and went in anyways. I get there (mind you, I had called and told them I was gonna be late, told them why etc. My manager had the nerve to say "Why didn't you plan ahead? You knew you had work in the morning." Yeah, here let me plan my cars DEATH when it suits you. Yeah, whatever.) my friend had to drive me in btw, so I walk up to the host stand and the busser turns to me and is all "You're fired." Now, hes an a*****e anyways so I was all "Yeah, whatever Sandro." Nope. My manager takes me to a ******** corner and is all "I think its best we part ways." I was like "Are you firing me?" And she was all "Yes." "Do I need to leave... now?" "Yes, please." I was so pissed! My friend is now long gone and I'm gonna have to call my other friend to come pick me up because I didn't have my cell phone. AARG! I wasn't so pissed that she fired me, I was more angry that thye couldn't tell me over the phone so I didn't have to have my friend drive for an hour to get me to my house and back to work. AAAH! ><* *twitch*

Thats not what I was asking, ladies. Gah. biggrin I like Justin Timberlake. For his boday. And thats about it. XP The reason i found it was because my friend and I were looking up old N'Sync songs. From like their very first debut CD etc. And it was there. And it was freaking cute. A frigging gingerbread suit. And Ellen Degeneres (I <3 her!) was wearing a marshmellow.

My textbooks cost too much money. scream
I'm trying to move out and here they are making me pay nearly $400 for books I'll only read a third of and actually own for only four months before returning them for half the price.

I would be ecstatic if I could return all my books for half price. Usually you get much less than half back or else it's a case of "I'm sorry, it's an old edition. We just got new ones..." >.o
