I have not attended a professional drama performance. The only theater that has ever interested me is the movie theater. Right now, I’d say that it is unlikely for me to attend one in the future but maybe I will change my mind after this unit.

The last play that I remember reading is Hamlet and I enjoyed the theme of revenge. 'To be or not to be" is a statement that I will always remember. I relate to Hamlet because I also ask myself "to sleep or not to sleep" when I do homework.

3. Not in person but I have watched a few on tv such as Annie, West Side Story, High School Musical, and ten minutes of the Shrek musical. I do enjoy musicals because it is fun to see how they make songs out of comical scenarios.

4. I have no experience with ballet or opera. For opera, I’ve only seen it as a background in movies with a character who doesn’t want to be there because they find it boring. Ballet isn’t something I’m familiar with, but I do like contemporary dancing.

5. I am not sure if Lion King counts because I don’t know if the movie came before the play. Lion King is a nice movie but it became devastating after I heard about the theory of Scar eating Mufasa. I may not be aware of some that I have watched.

I attended a professional drama performance back in elementary school. I can't recall the name of the play due to the fact that it was from years ago but what I do remember was that it was a musical. I can not remember the last time I have read a play. I have no experience with opera and ballet. I have not watched a film / TV adaptation of a play.

Yes, I have seen a professional drama performance. It was an Alvin Ailey Dance Performance.
The last play I read was A Mid-Summer Night's Dream. I didn't particularly like it.
The last musical I saw was The Lion King. It was an incredible production. I do enjoy musicals and would like to go see more.
I have only watched opera on TV. I found it to be so moving. I would love to see the ballet in NYC. One of my dreams is to make time to learn and dance ballet.
I have watched the Lion King movies and I enjoy the play. It is amazing to see everything come alive and see the characters take form and follow along from the movie and how things are interpreted live.
