"Sure, bzzt!" Two-One said before zipping through the air, headed towards the first wooden bridge erected over the topmost pool of water of Brooklet Hill.
Walking over the bridge Monique could look down and get a good look at the crystal clear waters of Brooklet Hill, so pure and clear that she could see the very bottom of the pond they were above including the many Wishiwashi happily swimming, unbothered by the couple of Surskit skating on the surface. They would in time make it across the bridge and back onto land, taking a turn as the ground slopped downward until they had to cross through some tall grass.
"Bzzt! Be careful of the tall grass." Two-One said as he floated over the grass.
(You may catch a wild Pokemon here if you wish, available Pokemon include; Morelull, Paras, Psyduck, Lillipup, Poliwag, Wingull, and Dewpider.)
Eventually they would make it through the grass and down to the second pool, a fishing dock jutting out from the shore and halfway over the pool. On top of it were three fishers just enjoying their day with their lines dangling in the water. "Bzzt, you like to fish?" Two-One asked.

Brooklet Hill was a relaxing sight. The pure water, the cleanliness of it all...
That was what Monique still couldn't get over in her brain. It was clean, pure, pristine. Especially by her standards. She'd been raised in desolation, where plant life struggled to establish itself, where only a little bit of water and coastline remained inside the Dome, separated by partition from the unclean, Poison-type smogwater that lay beyond.
She took every breath slowly, happily, soaking in the sun, the water, the serenity with every step on the wooden bridge. To an outsider, she just appeared contemplative. But no, she was thankful, almost overwhelmed with goodness to process. Goodness that, in her world, was long gone.
Back on land, she walked through a patch of tall grass teeming with Pokémon. The Pokédex was ringing off the hook with descriptions of Pokémon. Morelull, the little mushroom. Psyduck, which she'd seen once or twice. And Wingull circling overhead. Monique didn't feel like catching any Pokémon here. No, she just wanted to see things.
The second pool had a small pier jutting out from land. "No, I've never fished before," Monique replied. She'd only heard of the concept, frankly. What was there to fish in her time? Nothing in her time. "But maybe I should learn," she responded to Two-One.

"Maybe you should! If you'd like I can request a rod to borrow from the tourism board! Just say the word and we can have one teleported here lickity split, bzzt!" Two-One offered with a smile on its screen. "There are plenty of Wishiwashi and others to fish up in these waters! Otherwise, if you prefer, we can head out for the next sight to see. If we back track we can head through Route 8 which runs along the north edge of the island, a beautiful seaside path that is a popular dating spot, bzzt! From there we can keep going onto Route 7 and eventually all the way to Wela Volcano Park! Fun fact, the top of the volcano is the sight of one of the Island Trials, just like here! Have you ever seen a volcano before? Bzzt! Or should I ask, up close and personal! I hope you don't have trouble with the heat!"

Monique sighed out loud. Her body was starting to catch up with her. She'd been through a hassle in Lush Jungle and hiked Brooklet Hill. She'd covered a lot of ground, and tiredness crashed over her as she looked at the fishing pond.
"Two-One, it's been a long day. No offense, but... I wouldn't mind a little quiet. Could you find me a place to spend the night? Then maybe we do Wela Volcano Park in the morning."

"Hm? Oh! Yeah, sure! I forgot about you humanoids and sleep, bzzt! I guess it's kind of like when I have to recharge the Pokedex I inhabit...kinda. Only difference is I can go do something else while it's charging, bzzt!" Two-One responded with a giggle like buzzing sound. "Either way, let me see what I can find..." Two-One would go quiet for awhile as a map appeared on its screen and moved around as it searched. Eventually the map would settle on a spot just south of their current location.
"How about we backtrack and spend the night in Royal Avenue? It's just east of Paniola Ranch and situated at the base of Wela Volcano, just outside of Wela Volcano Park. I can get a hotel room for you for the night and we can wake up first thing in the morning to explore the avenue a bit before heading up to the park! Bzzt! Sound good? Of course it does! Now let's see...hotels..." Two-One offered, though not waiting for an answer from Monique before taking it upon itself to book the hotel.
"Bzzt! There we go! You have a room booked at the Inn on the Avenue! Courtsey of the Alola Tourist Bureau! So with that settled how about we get going? Just have to back track to Paniola Ranch and head south down Route 6 and take the eastern fork towards Royal Avenue! Bzzt! I predict you'll arrive in Royal Avenue just at the tail end of sunset so if you move quickly you won't be traveling in the dark, bzzt! Shall we go?" Two-One continued.
(You can move us along to Royal Avenue in your post if you'd like.)

Monique arrived at Royal Avenue just as the sun dipped below the western horizon, causing everything to cast extremely long shadows. For a region where the routes were mostly dirt trails, this paved, city street-like was out of place. "Why is this all here?" she asked, looking around. There was some large auditorium or event hall, which was apparently a hub of activity judging by the groups of people and Pokémon around it, next to a large superstore, a Pokémon Center, and various sundry shops. If Heahea was quiet and charming, this was—by Alolan standards at least—loud and a bit tawdry. And there was a lot of light: streetlights, neon lights, whatever the light show on the big dome was. "What is the deal with this place?"
She approached the Inn on the Avenue both relieved to see a bed in her near future and wondering what had drawn all this development. It was like a whole artificial city—no, not that artificial city—had turned up. She walked through the automatic front doors of the hotel and made her way to the check-in desk. "Thank you, Two-One, for setting this up." It was one less thing to worry about. Hopefully the hotel didn't disappoint.

"No problem-o! Just try and relax! Bzzt! I'm going into sleep mode for now if you don't mind, just be sure to plug me in to charge when you get up to your room! Don't worry, I got a retractable cable, bzzt! Night night!" Two-One replied before Monique got wrapped up in checking in, his screen going black but the device still clearly powered on as indicated by a small power indicator light, now yellow and slowly blinking.
"Alola!" The lady receptionist greeted Monique as she walked up to the desk, giving her the traditional Alolan wave as well. "Welcome to the Inn on the Avenue! Might you be Ms. Kaʻanaʻana?" She said with a smile, once she got confirmation that she was the woman would reveal how she knew. "I was given a head's up you'd be staying with us tonight and well, we don't get too many Zoroark hybrids around here! We're thrilled to have you stay though!" The woman said as she gave a slightly bow of respect. "Now then, your room is completely paid for thanks to the Alola Tourist Bureau...I just need you to sign, date and initial this..." She said, sliding a tablet with stylus over to Monique. Once she was done with that she'd thank Monique and take the tablet back.
"Now then you're in luck as we have an open room on the second floor facing the Battle Royal Dome! It looks beautiful lit up at night, I must admit." She would then slide Monique a key card for her room, the number of the room on it. "Room number two twenty-two. And if you don't mind me asking are you here for the Battle Royal or just passing through?" She asked.

Monique was tired. The receptionist at the hotel was not. "Might you be Ms. Kaʻanaʻana?" Monique did a headtilt, wondering if her Rotom had become a Psychic-type, before it was explained she already knew. She took the tablet of terms and conditions, signing and dating the electronic form presented to her.
"Actually, I'm doing a tour of all the islands. Figured it was time to see everything," Monique replied, not wanting to rehash the whole Faller story to someone just doing her job. She took the key and navigated to the elevator, moving up a floor before trudging down the long hallway toward Room 222 with her bag.
She opened the door to a bedroom with a single queen-size bed, set down the bag, ensured the Rotom Pokédex was plugged in to charge (thanks, retractable cable), and flopped, body first, on the bed. She didn't even care she was laying on the comforter. It had been in, every aspect, a long day.

Sleep came quick for Monique, the sandman bringing her much needed rest and sweet dreams. By the time she was coherent again nine hours had past since her head bit the pillow, the room still dark thanks to the curtains, the only indication of the time being the blinking of an old digital clock on the room's bedside table. The moment she rose up from the bed her little Rotom friend would become active, somehow detecting her waking state or perhaps watching her all night, it was a question best not to mull over too much.
"Bzzt! Good morning Miss Monique! Did you sleep well?" Two-One asked as he came flying off the table, retracting its cable by itself. "I'm recharged and ready for an exciting day myself! What do we have planned? Want to catch a Battle Royal before we hit up the volcano? Oh! Maybe try some of the local varieties of malasadas! My search online says they make all kinds of unique ones here for tourists! I'm kind of jealous, eating sounds so fun!"

Monique had scarcely awoken, but it was time enough to be greeted by that most uncomfortably cheery of characters. "Bzzt! Good morning Miss Monique! Did you sleep well?" Two-One flew into her field of vision, almost scaring her before continuing to talk. She rubbed her eyes and looked back at the Rotom Pokédex.
"I... Two-One, I'm gonna admit I'm not used to so much energy in the morning. I know, you're an Electric-type and a Ghost-type who doesn't have to sleep..." She took a deep breath. She knew all about un-sleeping Ghost-types; after all, she had a Sensu Style Oricorio. "Gimme a moment." She rolled out of bed and raised the curtain, the room filling with light. "I'm gonna need to take a shower after... everything yesterday. And then maybe I can try a couple of malasadas before we head out." She started to rummage through her bag for a clean change of clothes and walked into the bathroom, ensuring Two-One could not somehow sneak in.

Two-One wouldn't say another word and in fact played an animation of its mouth being zipped closed, the Rotom giggling softly through the device's speakers right after. While Monique was in the shower the ghostly critter would remain stationary, the Rotom dex never moving from its floating position above her nightstand as it respected her privacy. Once she was out and properly dressed Two-One would 'unzip' his mouth.
"Bzzt! So, you about ready? While I was waiting I placed an order for two complimentary malasadas from the inn! I didn't even know that was an offer until I checked, how neat is that? I hope you like either the sweet or the sour ones they had! Bzzt!" Two-One informed Monique, a knock on the door right after. "Oh! That must be your malasada!" This Rotom really needed to chill. He gets a fresh charge and suddenly he's like an Elekid hopped up off a nuclear reactor.

Monique was blissfully happy to not hear Two-One's voice prattling on outside as she showered. At least they'd heard she was a Zoroark hybrid and supplied her with a larger bottle of shampoo.
Yesterday had been what could charitably be described as a whirlwind. The ambush in Lush Jungle, meeting Auntie Wilokia, visiting Brooklet Hill... It was a lot, but it was soul-filling. It was a taste of what had been denied to her time, an actual thriving Alola, as the tapu intended it to be. Sure, some places felt overbuilt—Royal Avenue among them—but at least they were livable!
She stepped out, dried off, and put herself together. It might take Two-One a little longer than he was used to if he hadn't been with a woman, especially a furry one. There was a lot of fur to care for, and drying it off required the highest-strength hair dryer available, or maybe a Heat Rotom. Eventually, she emerged wearing a light gray tank top and a pink skirt. She could be more flamboyant with an Illusion if she wanted, but for now, it was time to get going.
She now had enough energy to barely tolerate Two-One and even be thankful for its taking the initiative. "Why... thank you. Just..." Before she could continue, there was a knock at the door, which Monique opened to see two malasada on a plate. She picked up the plate and looked back at Two-One. "You're a lot."
Monique sat back on the edge of her bed, plate in hand, and took a bite. "This must be the sweet one," she said out loud, voice muffled by bits of food. "It's good, but... I don't have this much of a sweet tooth." She put it down and picked up the sour malasada, which was more to her liking. "Mmm, yes." The main flavor was Nomel, which was quite tart with enough sweetness to counterbalance it. "I don't think I could eat that other one after this..." She brought Kalama out of her Poké Ball and fed it the remaining sweet malasada. "Kalama's been with me since before the jump. She means so much to me," Monique explained, in hopes that Two-One might understand.
Eventually, there would only be a few crumbs left. After a final trip to the restroom, Monique grabbed her belongings and gave the room a last once-over before making her way down to the lobby to check out.
