 Heat pulsed through his slowly chilling body. He had started to shiver as the cavern was turning cold, or it was just him. It was hard to tell as everything was in darkness. Then there was the heat, soft pink that washed over him in waves. His wounds had started to heal, blood stopped seeping from slice in his chest. Taking a breath, his eyes cracked open as he rolled onto his belly. Limbs resting beneath him as he continued to heal. Already his head was starting to clear and sounds entered his hearing. There were more then just his group in this cave. It seems that the lost ones had been freed as well. Lucky for them to be unharmed from all this. He had yet to hear the voice of the doe he had been hunting for as she leaned against him. Trying to get him to come around faster, they had to leave and he was one of the two that were holding them all up. Bluebell on the other hand had stopped trying to end the bleeding as Wanderlust started healing both Nouls whom were down. Ears twitching slightly, something else was coming, this was not good. Dashing over towards the pack and bundle, she pulled both closer to the one whom had to carry them once more, to heck they were leaving the gear behind. She hopped over to the others to try and help the best she could to give time...

 Moon Mist took a deep breath, and prepared to stand her ground once more. She nodded to Isra, and trotted towards the cracking wall. Maybe with Wanderlust's party recovered they have a chance here ... She certainly hoped so. Positioning herself carefully, she tried to kicked out a crack, wondering if she could shatter it. Despite the feeling of exhaustion that was slowly taking over, she connected quite squarely. It made her feel at least a little better. They had to do it. They simply had to! Ysalone threw herself at the cracks in the wall, eyeing them and deftly aiming kicks their way. To think that hey had come this close and could potentially fail didn't occur to her. All she knew was that the party depending on their teamwork. It was time to give it everything they had. Tempest glanced over her shoulder, Wanderlust was working on healing Draven and Viltalta. Both seemed to be upright already, it was working. She watched as Bluebell came fly over to a crack and attacked it. Tempest managed a small smile but a shriek down the tunnel made her head whip around. A shimmer from a crack near her caught her eye and she promptly reared up and struck it with her foot. A mere deterrent to the creature on the other side.
The creatures seemed persistent, they really did not like the nouls there. Tempest wondered why Wanderlust’s party was left in a cage this whole time and not killed. The one in here clearly attacked part of their party and left two badly injured. Were the creatures animated crystals or something truly living? They cast a blue light from inside and seemed to have something to do with the crystals? These crystals were the same as the ones growing out of the trees. So many question, so little time.
Now really wasn’t the time for her mind to be reeling with questions that may or may not have answers. It was distracting her from the important task at hand, keeping this beasts at bay. Just needed enough time to heal Vitalta and Draven so they and everyone else can get the heck out.

Again! Ysalone drew back and kicked at the cracks. This time, she wasn't so lucky. The spot moved again as if the beast was trying to get through again. Tempest spun around on her heels and aimed a sharp back kick at it. It landed hard, making the creature squeal with displeasure. It wasn’t going to get through this crack, not while Tempest was here. She felt time was running out and looked towards Wanderlust once again, their patients seemed about ready to go.
This journey definitely added to Tempest’s experiences and would help guide her through life. If anything, it gave her more of a thirst to see more of her world too. Once home, Tempest was heading for the Grandfather tree after a good rest. It may not be right away but another adventure would have to be on her list of things to do. Of course she would have to share all the details with her family, she was sure they would enjoy that. Despite her father and brother’s uninterested in travel, they both wouldn’t turn down a good story.

Draven's wounds were near healed as he stumbled to his hooves, head a little foggy as the motions of getting up. Shaking his head, the sounds of another close to him caught his attention. Turning his head towards the black doe that was closest to him, there was that same flash of recognition in his eyes as it had with hers upon sight.
"S..Sicily.." He muttered as he went to give the Noul equivalent of a hug. "Is this where you have been this whole time?"
His answer from the doe would have to wait as it seemed that there was more danger. Looking around he spotted Bluebell trying to be brave and ward off the beasts.
"Bluebell! Lets get this gear up and ready to move out." he called out as the Jack Hop came over quick as a whip and looked up at him.
"You up to it, you idiot?" She asked placing her paws on her thighs before hopping to it and strapping the basket and shelter bundle to his sides.
"Hopefully everyone else is well and we can leave this place." he never really wanted to come here again for any reason...

She had learned from her last strike. This time, she took her time, eyed up the crack, aimed and carefully lashed out with a hoof. Heartened by her progress, Moon Mist hammered away at another crack. She tried to put all of her power behind it. Admittedly, she didn't have much power left to offer, but she was still rewarded with a shattering noise. Pale red light encompassed Draven and Viltalta, even as Draven dragged himself to his feet to join the fray. Their open wounds closed, Viltalta’s wings rearranged themselves to order, and the ascended doe rose to her feet with renewed vigor. Wanderlust gasped, exhausted, but Isra swooped in to help them to their feet. “Get out!” Viltalta called. “Everyone, to the surface! We can’t hold all of them back for long.” With the rescued party in tow, Viltala raced for the exit, kicking and slashing at the glowing blue chasms as she went. Quote: It’s time to retreat! Everyone head for the surface! The conclusion will come at 9pm mst tonight!

The moment she heard Viltalta's cry, Ysalone dropped her kicks and started for the exit. "Let's go!" she said, as eager as anyone to get out of there. She wasn't looking forward to encountering any beasts if she didn't have to.

With his gear stowed to where it belonged. The Vivfy Ascended staggered from exhaustion, Draven went to their other side. Looking around he didn't know how else to help Wanderlust besides crouching down a little bit. "If you don't think you can get out of your own. Climb on." He said looking at Wanderlust, whether or not they wanted this sort of help. But he was willing to get them out of this place. Sicily looked on in concern as the rest of the group had started through the narrow passage. She looked back towards Draven, Isra and Wanderlust. "Go Sicily, we'll be following shortly." He told her as the doe nodded and took off after the rest, Bluebell hitching a ride on the doe's back. For the time being, Draven waiting to see what Wanderlust wanted to do, he would carry them if he had to, just until they were out of this place.

Tempest stepped out of the way as Vitalta, full of renewed vigor, sped by clearing a way out. She watched as several more passed by. She waited to make sure Draven and Wanderlust made their way out and followed suit. She threw a kick at the crack as it shimmered again. She’d make sure none of the crystal beasts snuck up behind the group as they sped out of the tunnel.

Moon Mist was doing her best to kick at all the cracks. She panted, but just kept on kicking. After what seemed like an eternity, she heard Viltalta call out. Gathering the rest of her strength, Moon Mist ran for her life, tail streaming behind her. wc: 46 twc: 2303
