Thornslash awoke and for e moment wondered if this had all just been some giant dream. As he stirred however and began to notice the scars and wounds on his fellow clan mates, as well as himself, his heart sank. He breathed deeply, taking a moment to simply remember Jaggedstar and Hollowstep as Brightstar spoke, though he did not know them personally, what happened was certainly a tragedy. When she had finished, he waited a moment in the place where he sat.

Glancing over his sides he licked at several claw marks the twins had made, thinking some would heal and vanish in time while others might stay as a constant reminder of that time. Finally gathering courage, Thornslash approached Brightstar, at first bowing respectfully, ears pressed against his head. His dual colored eyes glanced up to find hers. “Brightstar..... is...this a bad time?” He asked softly, knowing she no doubt had so much on her mind as well as to attend to right now. But he needed to hear her voice and to simply be relieved that she had made it back with them.





Hawkpaw waited on antsy paws for Brightstar to finish and when she was done the apprentice raced through the crowd towards her brother. “Petalnose! Petalnose!” She cheered at him, about thrusting herself into his chest fur and purring noisily. Furiously she bumped his chin with her head and pawed at his shoulders. “I’m so happy your ok....brother I was so scared.” She mewled softly, for once in her life, not the usual loud and rambunctious self she normally was. “I thought I was going to lose you....but... instead you became a warrior!”





Flamedapple awoke with a startle inside the nursery, her heart pounding and breath coming rapidly. It took her several moments to calm herself as she glanced down at her sleeping kittens. A bit of fear prickled inside her wondering if they’d known before that when they returned they’d go back to how things were before or if....they didn’t and they’d wake up expecting the same. Gently she craned her head down to groom them, purring softly and nosing each one awake.

Bumblekit took a bit to rouse, being fast asleep and not yet realizing someone was grooming him. As he yawned and stretched out his toes he sat up, blinking sleepy eyes and stretching his back in a tiny arch. He spun in a circle and pawed up at his mother, opening his mouth to let out a squeak before it slowly began to sink in. No sound came out of his mouth, nor did it seem to come out of his mothers, or anyone else’s for that matter. Sitting a moment, Bumblekit recalled all that had happened, hearing his mothers voice, his sisters voice and the voices of everyone around plus the sounds of nature. He shut his eyes and concentrated, trying to recall them back but nothing just quite sounded the same. Or sounded at all. Finally coming to terms with it, Bumblekit let out a soft single wail and flopped, deflated, half draped over his sister.

Flamedapple frowned watching all of this and simply continued to lick the two kittens more to try to sooth them. “My darlings, I love you so much.” She whispered to them before glancing around the nursery, wondering if Shadowsong were around.....and what was going to happen to her friend?




Froststrike awoke feeling warmth next to him, for a moment his memory hazy until the events of the Forestclan and Starclan battle all flashing back to him like a horrid dream. Heart racing he proved himself up like lightning before realizing that the warmth next to him was Silverstreak, still in the spot she lay when the weariness took them.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Froststrike lowered his head and pressed his nose gently into the fur by her shoulder, taking in her scent and listening to her breathing. After a few moments he nudged her slowly, gently pressing the bridge of his nose into her cheek. “Silverstreak......hey....”

A million thoughts were running through his mind as he glanced around the camp, seeing the other cats, those who had simple scratches and those who had more. He looked over SIlverstreak too, trying to determine if she’d have any scars or not as well before scanning the crowed to try to find his mother.




Ravensnatch worked his way through the crowed as they murmured and conversed between themselves, debating new leaders or leaving or whatever else was on their mind. The older cat simply huffed, his tail lashing the air. He sighed heavily, and not just from irritation, but from the entirety of what had just transpired. Though he respected Brightstar as a leader he had questioned some of her choices just now.

Crowning a warrior in Starclan? While the young Tom did fight bravely from what little Ravensnatch saw, was that really the place? But was it also fair to Petalnose to question earning that right? Ravensnatch couldn’t decide and he let out a frustrated growl, shaking himself from head to toe tip.

Sighing, he spotted Needlewhisker and made his way over, hoping the she cat and battle wouldn’t mind if he took a moment to breath next to her. “Hope I’m not disturbing much... I can bugger off if ye’d prefer.” He said as he glanced about the clan and everyone in it.... for now anyways. “What a right mess...this is not what we needed....not at t’all.”

The battle brothers have seen you fight and wish to honor two of you with their presence!!

Things to know about the battle brothers. They are twins they are often seen together more then apart. They are loyal to Direstar and are expected to stay that way, otherwise they will be yours to plot out.

Wait why are these brothers strangely colored? What is that about? These two have earned the respect of Forestclan or have been given what we call a blessing. Cats that attract the attention of Starclan or Forestclan leaders can be blessed, which means they will receive markings in a strange color that does not naturally appear on cats. Sometimes the color is set sometimes you will get to pick the color. A cat on the other hand can chose to refuse a blessing we are not forcing strange colors or markings on cats if you do not want it. Blessings are not something you can commission they are only available via special events or through rping. Blessing can be given to both mortal and celestial cats.

With that out of the way lets see who the battle brothers will chose as their battle companions!!
