Toso would completely throw away Hiroki's disheveled appearance. As far as first impressions went with the squid what matter was ones ability to make favorable decisions. Unless of course, you aren't a citizen, a licensed mercenary under the nation,or enlisted. Not unlike your current status. Where the punishment for any infractions vary by gravity including if you were from an enemy nation. The readjustment of his glasses struck a metaphorical violin chord. "Was that answer satisfactory enough? Once the doors closed and Toso was alone once more. A moment of quiet Toso would then place his forehead on his desk before all six of his tentacles spawned and started blurting out his insecurities repeating them to him. "Should I so openly be allowing rogues and someone from an enemy nation to so easily integrate now in our most fragile of times?" - "That boy hardly seemed reliable despite his current recent promotional rank." - "Does Cerno even want to be a secretary to someone like me I'm no Jay or Jeon." - "How is the officer doing on his mission hopefully he hasn't become burnt out from the tedium of it. Maybe I should have done so myself." - "What if the war is literally minutes from now and I just enlisted that poor girl to die." - "Will my business survive given my current focuses on trying to maintain the order of the village" - "What if that girl is a spy for Kagami I failed to interrogate her like I did Koutestu what an oversight!" - "How many people are going to die and label me responsible?"- "Is it even possible for Belamos and Officer Kosei to get along." - "Am I actually even strong enough to survive this ordeal that could come at any moment." - "Shio-nee, is out there dealing with an unknown enemy what if they don't return alive?"

The door cracked Toso's six tentacles withdrew themselves as the squid poised himself professionally as a leader would. A ninja that was assigned earlier to the gates. "Someone calling himself the lightning shadow wishes to speak with you should we permit him entry?" "Ah bloop, yes. Just give me some time to clear my head a bit." Out with one in with another. "Ah, give this to Cerno on the way out." He'd give the man the documents pertaining to Maeko wherein the anbu would nod and leave. The door closed and Toso looked over the window as he turned around and stood to look towards the gate. "Lightning Shadow. Bloop. A Raikage. I haven't heard that title in quite some time. You've picked quite the awful time to pay visit, haven't you...Shiro-nii. Bloop."

Toso would form a handsign. Something he hadn't personally been doing often
as most nin do. A clone of himself reproducing itself next to him. "I need to make preparations to better myself aswell. Taiyo-kami made it quite evident I seem to be lacking in some departments. The only way to remedy this in such a short amount of time is to find ways to compensate for what I currently lack. I can't do that here. You know what to do." The clone would nod, afterall the two of them were on the same wave length physically and mentally. A wallet was then handed to it. The clone would vanish and Toso would sit down at the kage's chair patiently awaiting a reunion with an old friend.

Someone actually decided to knock. Could it have been Shiro? Well if it was Shiro there was no need to keep airs. Then again it may have also come to a surprise to Shiro that his old friend had become the Kage. One meeting after another. Toso unraveled a scroll. Dipping a brush into the inkwell he had nearby. As a method to start calming himself and his nerves, he began to draw as he typically did when he didn't flee to Isekai-junsei. The deeper understanding of the Ukyo which for some odd reason he'd recently developed made him want to do something he couldn't before. All creations he'd make were bound to Isekai-Junsei but now there was a medium he could use to make that of which he could make within Isekai-junsei into reality. As he began drawing he would simply utter "Come in." his attention calmly fixated on what he was doing in that moment rather than who was enetering. If it was Shiro perhaps his eyes would stray just a bit as he listened to whatever it was this new comer had to say.

The man would stay solely focused on his drawing as he heard the boy. As rude as it may have seemed to realize that this wasn't Shiro made it so that his attention didn't so much as leave the edge of the paper. Rather he spoke to the boy in a reserved manner as he dipped into the ink-well once more for his brush. There was already going to be one major problem with the individuals request if the sound of his voice could be attributed to what the squid kage thought them to be. "Oh? You wouldn't happen to be a woman, would you? bloop." The man continued to draw what he was drawing still a mystery. Another dipping of the ink as a large stroke was made across the scroll. "It seems it is as though they know if their target is indeed a woman.
