[ OUTSIDE ] - SUPPORTING Sherry waved at the young trainee who helped her out. Too bad she didn't catch a name. "Thank you!" The wind kicked up a delightfully annoying gust of sand, and Sherry turned to see who else might need some assistance. There were plenty, really. And the great hole below them was only getting bigger. Or at least it seemed like it. "Hey!" Sherry made her way to one Hunter. "Come on!" She said with a hearty pat on the back, "A bit more that way and you should be good to go." Sherry squinted at the blonde hair and the coat. Vaguely familiar... "You've got this." [ OUTSIDE ] - SUPPORTING Sherry was there to help folks for as long as they needed it. The moment they seemed safe, she was off to help someone else. The next few she stumbled upon was a group. "Hey, do you need some help there?" She asked the taller of the group...since it appeared at least one of their number was out-cold. [ORCHARD - Melvin Melvin froze, staring out as he heard the other hunters say someone was murdered, and yet also wanted him rescued. Then Lawr spoke of horsemen, and his mind instantly went to clones. If Lawr was hurt, the horsemen would want to lure other to their location to attack them especially if they now had headsets that were now compromised. Melvin knew of Lawr's clones.
Turning to Joy, he set a hand on her shoulder. "This sounds like a horsemen trap. I think our headsets have been compromised. Why would someone be murdered and yet they are telling someone else to come help them? They could look like us."
He tested out his theory.
"You saw all this and aren't with the injured? Do you even know his condition? How many of you are there with him?"
He turned the headset away to look at Joy. "I'm not risking your life rescuing a dead man or getting killed by them."
The fact this was happening during an evacuation didn't feel right.
"I think they are waiting to attack us like they did Lawr and the other guy."

He hardly expected a locust swarm. Perhaps he should have, in hindsight, given that the world shifted so recently from the banal to the fantastical. But this felt like something out of The Mist, whereupon any bites from the giant locusts would cause his whole face to swell and his life to leave him. That he would need to burn the creatures to escape.
The thought crossed Von's mind but once, though the swarm moved too quickly and stung too often for him to find it prudent. Covering his face with his arms posed little protection, as the insects' bites chewed through fabric relentlessly. So many bit at once that Von felt a long stream of consistent pain while he tried to escape the creatures. The cloud cursed him, however, haunting each step he took in any direction. Tactical retreat devolved to running blind while he hoped the creatures might taper off and find another victim.
Or he could find another victim for them —
But who was there to find? Von hissed as he darted through the tunnels, but found no souls among them. He heard shouting in the distance, but nothing close enough that he mind find his way to them. What could he do but run?beejoux sorry bee! those three exams ate me. sorry they could not meet up!

[ OUTSIDE ] - Ace Carrying two people wasn't as a painful task as for the rest for Ace, he borned with monstrous strength and often unintentionally hurt someone in the orphanage. He didn't care if they feared of him at all, he was comfortable to be alone or with someone. The Sun trainee smiled brightfully at the lady who offered help. "Thanks, can you help me to adjust the girl's position a bit? You know, it's not quite appropiate for me to touch a maiden's body." She had been slipped during all the runnings while on the other side, the male trainee continued to enjoy his sweet nap. "Or you have some ropes so that I can secure their positions?" He asked with a troubled grin like a giant dumb dog. Behind, the sand was still sinking, the greedy mouth didn't seem to stop at all. Time was running short for those who made it out the cave. He had lost sight of his team and hopefully they were all safe and intact. HP: 27/ 40 Support received: 5 (from sherry)/ 10

Outside looking at mouth hole. O.O so big...Kimberly, ready to jump the shark... er mouth. Her burden was quite a light one and luckily she had managed to bring it past the scorpion and all the way to the gaping maw, while staggering under the influence of the scorpion venom. She gaped down at the large mouth and nearly laughed at how ludicrous it was. Really? This is what she had to face now. "Yer, lucky.." She muttered to the one she was carrying. "If I fall though guess what.. you are going too.." Blinking a bit she took a deep breath and backed up a few steps prepared to make a leap for it. One had to seriously hope that someone else was ready to make a grab for her if she missed on the leap, since she had only one hand free. "Here goes nothing..." She blinked and stopped mid jump noticing Ace and she stopped pointing at him. "You are lucky.. big freaken scorpion... heh, it got me... my side hurts.. hip shot..." She staggered a little and sat down abruptly. "You should get across soon... the mouth looks hungry." Seriously was she stoned or drunk or something? Kimberly 21/40 hp zoobey if it had been an error I would have just had her thinking she was carrying someone and actually dragging along the scorpion like a dumb sh*t. razz

[ OUTSIDE ] - SUPPORTING Sherry returned the smile. "No ropes, sorry." She did help him adjust his hold on the girl. "Is that, is that October?" Sherry was looking at the trainee Ace was carrying. "Is he okay?" She'd just met him, it'd be terrible to lose him so soon. "You've got them both?" He had carried them this far, he should be fine, right? "Be sure to ask for help if you need it." Crossed & Supporting from safety After what seemed like an eternity, Sy had safely crossed and stayed far far away from the creepy gaping mouth. He was safe and he knew it, but had no idea how many team members still had to cross.
In the midst of things, he spotted a guy carrying TWO people - by himself! His eyes widened, admiring the other hunter's strength and helpfulness and heroism.
Sy sighed, knowing he was nothing compared to that guy. but he still wanted to help, summoning Ia once more, he helped with strengthening the path Ace was already walking on.
Sy: Moon Hunter Moon: Both defensive die rolls used up. Only offensive ones ( 2d8 - 6 ) for support left. Sy's HP: 19/40
Target Supporting: Ace Support amount: +3
Meegane Beautiful heroic view; Sy is silently cheering for Ace to cross to safety.

[OUTSIDE - READY FOR/TO SUPPORT]
Terry wheezed when he finally made it out and stopped short at the sight of all the other hunters. What were they supposed to do now? He said nothing and opted to just watch in the meantime and of course listen in on the headsets.
There was a familiar name flying through the radio waves and Terry tried not to grimace. He really hoped that Melvin was alright and while there was a description of a victim, Terry didn't think it was anyone he knew. Good chance it wasn't. But speaking of people he knew, he couldn't help but try to look for any familiar face.
So he ended up using the headset again, "Miss Melody? Are you outside already?"

[ LEAVING TUNNELS ]Dwight's expression of gratitude didn't really sink in; in her mind, this was something that she was supposed to do, and a 'thank you' wasn't a necessary or requisite response to her actions. His reassurance, however, was exactly what she needed to hear - Mimsy nodded again in understanding, offered another small smile to both of them, and turned to duck out of the space and back into the tunnels. Instead, she ran into Mark. An abrupt huff was pushed through her teeth as she held the sister more closely against her chest, one hand moving to cradle her head well enough to hide most of her features. "You need not be concerned about clones in this portion of the cave." She tried to sound as 'normal' as she could, which was always a bit difficult. "There are no clones for you to encounter here. There is no time for questioning. Please assist Dwight and Shu in escaping now." Lying by evasion and omission to Mark wasn't a problem - she'd just heard him chatting with Caroline, and knew what was going on (she didn't), so this was fair and rendered them on even footing. Rep did not deserve to be lied to, but the sister was at risk. She chose to limit her communication to Mark alone, opting to avoid any wrongdoing to Rep at all, and kept her head low as she passed by Rep on her way out.

[ OUTSIDE ]An instant after she asked about Harper, she saw her in the distance, gesturing for them to look towards a more viable path. Caroline was so relieved that she laughed, and began to guide them in the direction she'd pointed. Halfway there, she nearly lost her footing again - someone unfamiliar offered their help, and they were across without any more difficulty. "Thanks! Thank you," she called to the latter Hunter, giving a friendly wave. She considered joining Harper, but she felt sure that Liam would, and a sinking worry was keeping her tethered to the pit behind her. Anxious, she turned to look back towards it, just waiting. But being called 'Rogue Nine' lifted her mood right away, pleased that her chosen designation was remembered. "Titan class Sarlacc pit, huh? Sorry--didn't know we were using extended universe. Is this from--you writing fan fiction?"That was the most important thing to talk about right now. It was taking her mind off of being consumed for an indefinite amount of time by an actual Sarlacc pit, at least, and allowing her to avoid thinking too much about who was still stuck in there. Which failed, good mood dissipating, as she heard her murder announcement being questioned. Again. " God help me, for ******** sake," she hissed under her breath. She wasn't religious in the slightest, but there was a limit. "If I'd stayed--listen, I'd be in the same damn position, and what good's that. Was already there. Room's dangerous, so--so someone's got to get in and get out with him, quick." She was now facepalming in the middle of the desert. "I'm a trainee. He's bigger than me. Me staying's going to jeopardize him and me both--getting out meant less a problem for people more capable at this s**t. I'm out--out trying to help more people out. I know he's on the ground there--know he's not moving. Bleeding--Lawr put those claws through him."On the bright side, she was too annoyed to be debilitatingly worried about anyone at the moment. FrostyPeaches yes, perfect! *u* thank you so much! <3 Quote: Trying to keep an eye out, but if anyone needs help quote me or let me know! <3

OUTSIDE
Lawrence gave Sherry a big smile as she helped him right on up out of danger. He was tempted to get some distance between himself and the hole in the ground but found himself lingering.
This always happened when he donned disguises, he started to think too hard about what the person he was pretending to be would do, to get mired in the role and the method acting of the thing. Jordan wouldn't leave people in peril, so he didn't leave.
It would wear off eventually.
In the meantime he was stuck.
"Whoever can help him, should help him." he said calmly and levelly with the inflection Jordan normally put behind his words or an attempt at them."Bickering and name calling isn't helping people, I'm sure Caroline had good intentions and she alerted everyone else. Help him if it is possible to do so, if it isn't, get out of there, we can't afford more casualties. I'm up here if anyone needs any help getting out."
He clenched his hands in irritation at himself, even as he hung up the headset.
