In the throes of post-battle exhuberation, the gingerbread man exploded quite dramaticallty, pieces of frosting and candy scattering everywhere.
It just looked so delicious, why even delicious enough to share his spoils of war with others! Baneful Mik gains +10 Joy. He can pick up pieces of gingerbread man to eat/ share in unlimited supply. Each piece gives another +10 Joy!

Lawrence looked stricken. If people were just going to throw all the rules about emotions out of the window, he wanted to be informed first. Melvin looked upset and he didn't know why. He'd asked if he was all right hadn't he? That expressed concern. He'd taken the correct steps.
This was weird.
"Well. Yes. It is." he said, though cleared a small space to sit down on the tail of his coat next to the other man.
"Did you hit your head?" he asked.

Melvin shook his head and then cringed when that felt painful.
"Nope. I didn't. The candycane did. Oh, and the railing. Then some fists." He reached up again.
"Wanna sit on my lap? You've been such a good boooyyyyy and I can keep you warm cause Baby its cold outside."

Mik gathered up the broken parts of his fallen enemies, deciding there and then that that was what the gingerbread man would have wanted. The attack was probably just his innate enthusiasm at being eaten spilling over inappropriately. After all that's what a candy person would want right?
Either way he filled his pockets with the stuff and even had some of it himself. He wasn't allowed sugary treats but, well, his dad wasn't here.
He offered Malkam some too, because it was nice to share.

"Hey, cool. It's like...eating our fallen enemies," Malk said, immediately taking the piece from Mik.
"You okay? You were really cool out there. Man, it's a shame tjejer can't see that."
He meant the girls off-island, of course, not counting anyone here.
"You do this all the time? These are...wow, what's in this?" Mik's eyes got a certain glimmer. "Is it drugs?" he asked, overtaken with a sudden and festive rush of euphoria.

Mal got a very emphatic smile from Mikael, so unused to praise that receiving it blind sided him. He didn't even know how to respond other than a smile.
"Well yeah kinda." he said. "We are always getting attacked by things, always. It's really sad." Except right now it didn't feel sad at all. He felt great, excited even. This gingerbread was GREAT!
"Wow! I think that maybe it is drugs!" And he took another bite, because that didn't deter him at all.

Melody though was still very concerned and after Peyton laid into him, offered the man a sympathetic frown and attempted to place a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Mark? Is that your name? Are you okay?" She had no idea what he was rambling about. Did he have a concussion, or something? "How many fingers am I holding up?" She held up three very chocolaty fingers.
She noted the strange colorful switch, but didn't think too much of it just yet.

Lawrence gave Melvin a look that moved from marginal concern to very weighty and serious concern.
However, the offer of a lap, even from someone possibly suffering a serious concussion wasn't one he readily turned down. So of course he moved over and sat thoughtfully in Melvin's lap. "So you've been hit by lots of things."
He had a set of bandages in his pocket but he didn't know if he'd personally end up hurt. He sighed and fished out his keys and a penlight and shone it unceremoniously in the other man's eyes, taking hold of his chin like he was a dog.
"You might have a concussion." he said, looking concerned at the over-dilated pupils. "Have you taken any drugs?"

Melvin was more than pleased that he actually managed to force himself to sit, wrapping his arms around Lawr and smiling sleepily at him as he picked out a peppermint from his own hair and placed it behind Lawr's ear.
"Only thing I'm high on is the Christmas spirit." He leaned in to give the doctor a eskimo kiss.

"Yes well that's good." Lawrence said, not looking very pleased about it at all. "You aren't to have any actual spirits though." It was impossible to tell if the other man had a concussion or was simply drugged on something. If he was a dog he'd have asked his owner if he'd thrown up but it was harder when it was people. He had to assume the other man didn't feel sick.
He tolerated the eskimo kiss in spite of it being very close to his precious face. Melvin probably wouldn't bite him. Probably.
"Are you sure that's all you are high on? You seem very..." he cleared his throat. "...cheery."

"He's fine." Peyton, having known Mark for years now, wasn't half as moved as Melody seemed to be. She snorted softly, rolling her eyes, before the colorful blinking of the switch in Mark's hand caught her attention. Crouching down beside them, she attempted to free the thing from the Death assistant's grip.

While not a poodle or a Labrador, Melvin was as close to a tag-wagging man as one could get, and nuzzled into Lawr with all the affection one would have if placed under a mistletoe while sipping mulled wine.
"I'm not high, but you do get a rise out of me." He went to kissing Lawr's neck.
"Were you a good boy this year?"

Lawrence was trying to put a name to what was wrong with Melvin, systematically going through all the drugs he could think of to try and get a handle on what it could be from the earthly ones. It didn't seem like any he'd seen or tried.
With his good hand he gently pushed the other man to a slight distance as the neck kisses had an effect which reached beyond logic and got distracting. "I was a perfect boy this year." he said calmly before nudging Jordan with a foot.
"Maybe your new friend will know what is up with you." He nudged him again.
"Jordan."

Jordan blinked his eyes open and smiled brightly. He'd been feeling very peaceful and happy, if a bit dizzy, and as such was content to lie on the floor with the presents around him. He held up the tamagotchi, which was still attached to his finger. "Look, I still have my favorite present," he said, mostly to Melvin.

Melvin turned his head from where Lawr was smushing his face away to look at Jordan and his present before pulling back. "AWWwww!"
And then he turned and laid down, giving a pat-pat pet to the tamogotchi on Jordan's hand. "Cutie for a cutie. It wants to eat something super sweet."
But he didn't have a present for Lawr. "Oh no. Lawr doesn't have anything!! Santa took the others away."
"Um....uhhhh..." His eyes searched about but he couldn't see any sacks or toy elsewhere to give. What could he give?
What could he give?!!!
He started to move and after some maneuvering, he took off his shirt to give to the other man. "Here! MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
