Jack watched silently as Shannon and Boone talked to each other. AS long as he stayed awake then maybe he would stay alive. Though Jack would say nothing about his fears outloud. He didn't want to make Shannon scared.
"Okay . . .I've done what I can . . .I've got to go find some herbs to slow down the poison." Jack turned to Kate. "Stay with him." He replied, then walked off into the jungle.

Shannon averted her gaze at her brother. "What?" She asked quietly, wiping some of her tears away.

Boone didn't really want to say anything, he just wanted to hear her speek. He curved his lips abit agian and moved his hand more so it would cover all of her hand.

Shannon smiled a bit although she didnt feeli like it. But with Boone so weak all she could do was try and be strong. What will I do if he dies? She asked herself, still trying to smile. I wont have anyhting left, not a damn thing. The thought just made Shannon mad. "Listen to me Boone." She sopke wuiet and low. "You have to hold on. Boone you cant leave me here alone!" She cried, covering her mouth and clsonh her eyes, her small frame shaking with terror.

Boone squeezed her hand abit and took a small breath before speeking.
"I-I try.."
He whispered. This was the highest his voice could go.

Shannon bit her lip again. "Well you can at least stay awake. For me.." She said, actually demanded a bit as Shannon nodded her head, her platnum hair falling form it's ponytail.

Boone moved his head to the side so he could see her better. Even when she was crying she looked so pretty. 'no! he told himself, he couldn't fall for all of this again. After a while of fighting to forget her, he couldn't just beging to care for her that way again.
He closed his eyes for a few seconds and opened them agaim.

Shannon just about had a hissy fit when Boone had closed his eyes for just a second but soon she calmed down a bit. Shannon lowered herself from her knees and leaned against the makeshift bed, sighing.

Boone looked at her and smiled abit again.
"Sh-Shannon, Talk.. pl-please"
He almost begged her.

Jack came back an hour later with some herbs that he had mushed up into some gunk and he came over to Boone. He gave a bowl to Claire and to Shannon both while he held another one. "Gently place this on his wounds." He replied as he dipped some of his fingers down and scooped some up, then gently applying it to Boone's chest.

Boone let out a small noise as he felt the horrid pain of what Jack was doing. He closed his eyes and bit his lower lip. It was burning.

Jack cringed slightly, but he kept applying the cream. Boone had to stay alive. he was young. Helathy. He had to stay alive. "Come on buddy . . . hang in there . . ." Jack replied. It would be a miracle if he lived through the night.

Boone wanted to let go, he didn't want to live anymore. There was no use of trying.. there was nothing for him.
He closed his eyes again and tried to think of the people he loved, there weren't many..

(( eek Are we actually gonna kill Boone?!))
Shannon had taken the bowl and she cringed as she applied it, seeing how much pain it was putting her brother in. "C'mon Boone, just, just hang on, I'll be done soon, okay?" She nodded as she tried to hurry and apply the mixture. Shannon shook her head to move the hair out of her face, a ray of sunlight dancing on her cheek and hair.

Boone smiled as he saw the sun on Shannon's face. She looked like such and angel right there. He moved his hand slowly and placed it on her's. He knew he didnt have much more time to live..{O.o}
