Leeroi attacks the bureaubots!HP: 18/20 DMG: 6 Leeroi held his breath. He didn't know what kind of reaction to anticipate from Hemera, but this? This was so far outside the realm of anything he imagined. And it was so... satisfying. Seeing this troll smiling, giggling at him, when before he had seen nothing but indifference and fury... He didn't know what to do. He couldn't continue his pitch like this. Leeroi could barely string a sentence together in his head, let alone continue trying to prove his point about gerbil space travel. He exhaled with a laugh. Biting his lip, he stowed the gerbil back in his backpack. His face felt warm, but he didn't bother trying to hide it, instead sitting stiffly in his seat, uncomfortably motionless. Even when Hemera moved to leave, he hardly budged, only leaning forward in disappointment to watch her go. Should he have chased after her? Leeroi didn't know. The blueblood packed up his stuff and moved along, frustrated with himself. He had to go punch something to get the horrible feeling out. Lucky for him, a few robots seemed to be having violent tendencies and seemed like perfect targets for Leeroi's issues. Gl!tch~* look what you did you broke a perfectly good leeroi

Forera dealt 4 damage to the Bureaubots. Forera had taken a small breather after kicking the living crap out of the Scientist, feeling her muscles less ache-y after it and drinking a quick bottle of water she'd been offered by a nearby scientist. Soon after, unfortunately, the tealblood was confronted by a-- Bot?? It began to come nearer to her, and it was obvious that it was malfunctioning in some way. She quickly made something up, maybe trying to be a little smart would be better than aggression this time? "Hey, there's a mistake here! In this, er, letter, right here-- 'EY!" She was immediately smacked in the side by one of them. Forera snarled, stepping backwards and accidentally running into a familiar blueblood-- Wait, wasn't that... "Leeroi! Hey, team up time, we totally gotta wreck these dumb bots!" Forera exclaimed, grinning at him excitedly. "Yer in, right?"

Leeroi attacks the bureaubots!HP: 15/20 (-1 ongoing damage) DMG: 1 Leeroi's attention fell on Forera frantically trying to handle the bureaucratic bots. Now here was a troll he could get along with easily. "You ******** bet, I am!" He grinned, charging in recklessly. He leapt forward at one of the bots, swinging wide to strike them with his left arm. Misjudging the distance, he fell flat on the ground with an unceremonious oomph. The bots were quick to apprehend Leeroi, tying him up in red duct tape and berating him for his misconduct. "What the ********!" he yelled, struggling in their tight grasp, desperately trying to knock over his chair in some attempt to escape. "Hey, give me a hand?" Leeroi shouted over to Rera, trying to scoot towards her and away from the bots.

Forera dealt 6 damage to the Bureaubots. A wild grin spread across her face the moment she heard his words, gearing up once more to slam the bot in the face-- Only to have arms wrap around her and radically limit her movement. The moment Leeroi fell, Forera couldn't help but let a loud shrieking laugh burst from her mouth, but she covered it immediately-- It was a habit for her to laugh at the pain of a hard fall! She struggled as Forera watched him get wrapped in red duct tape, and the tealblood squinted at the situation before quickly heading over and hearing his question. Forera giggled. "I've got... several," Forera exclaimed with a laugh and shook her tied up body, referring to the mechanical arms wrapped tightly around her body-- "But I mmmmight be able to get a hit or something'-- Ngh! Gimme a sec!" She had an idea she'd like to try.

With a hard kick, the tealblood quickly finished the job. While it was still wrapped around her, it was at least bearable now. "Lee, you good?"

Leeroi attacks the bureaubots!HP: 14/20 (-1 ongoing dmg) DMG: 2 Leeroi continued to struggle in his constraints, which hardly budged no matter how much he flexed. Meanwhile, the bots continued to berate him, despite the lack of attention he gave them. Shimmying back and forth, Leeroi tried to gain enough momentum to at least jump and stand in place. Instead, he miscalculated his timing, and fell forward onto his face. With a loud groan, he turned his face to the side to see Forera breaking free from her bots. "Not good!" He complained, voice distorted from his awkward angle, "I'm still— grah— constrained here!" Twisting his wrist, he managed to activate his belt to at least get some shields up, to prevent the robots from hitting him while he was down. Using Adept Defense B Artifact!

Forera dealt 4 damage to the Bureaubots. She was out! Forera flexed her shoulders excitedly, pounding her fists together before smashing her elbow into the face of a robot trying to kill her. Forera heard Leeroi's desperate attempt to call for help before heading toward him-- "I'll pull ya outta there--" Forera would've continued, but hands suddenly came out of no where and wrapped around her entire body, pulling her back to the Bots in one breath. Forera groaned. "G'damnit!" She released a frustrated growl. "Just keep strugglin'! They can't hold out forever!" And neither could they...

Leeroi attacks the bureaubots!HP: 13/20 (-1 ongoing dmg) DMG: 6 "Good point- grh!" Leeroi started to speak, trying to shimmy himself into a position where he could at the very least kick one of the bots. With a struggled hop, he made contact with one of the bot's shins, causing a slight domino effect on the surrounding bots. Not enough to incapacitate, but enough to slightly inconvenience them as Leeroi continued to pick at his restraints. With enough finagling, he managed to slightly free his legs and his robotic arm. This was as good as it was going to get, Leeroi realized, standing up to face the robots. "You might want to stay back!" He warned Forera, Wildly, he windmilled, spinning around the room, trying to knock down any bot in his path. Using Adept Defense B Artifact!

Forera dealt 5 damage to the Bureaubots. Each time Leeroi managed an action, Forera 'whoop whooped' in cheer, struggling against the arms of the robot. When Lee mentioned she should move back, the tealblood slammed backward into the robot, watching Leeroi make a mini windmil in his efforts to take them out. Forera grinned before she was suddenly pulled toward the bot who grabbed her. She asked a quick quip to the bot, and she'd managed to somehow confuse it? Forera grinned. Of course she'd managed to get out of this--
And then the bot exploded. Forera screamed.

What'cha up to?" Forera asked, peering over his shoulder and offering a short wave to his wooly lusus. She'd known Poe, definitely, she'd had the pleasure of meeting him 2 Bloodfests prior. He was the poor stowaway to their cause who eventually joined them and was rather good friends with Manny. While she wasn't too friendly with the rest of the swamp, she enjoyed the presence of the little ones sometimes. It was good to check up on the kids now and then too, and if anything she'd play it off easily. "Doin' husk-toppy stuffy?" Forera squinted at his work. She wasn't too good with husktops, but hey, one learned with practice, she guessed...

Poe grinned, relieved that he was able to find someone he recognized from his side. "Hey Fo-- I mean, uh, you, lady, who I know," he stumbled over his words, quickly trying to backpedal, hoping no one heard that. "I was going to do the thing, with the husktop... " He pulled out a few folded up pieces of paper from his pocket and showed it to Forera in the most discreet way he could manage. Poe had been looking at the computers for a bit, unsure of how to proceed. The instructions were there, along with his ID codes from Aprife. But he wasn't really a troll made for looking at things in front of his face, it seemed.
"Oh, maybe you could help me? Keep an eye out... lend me a hand!" He wiggled his metal fingers, knowing she also had a robotic hand like him. With Forera to help, he could navigate the pages faster and not waste time and potentially get caught hacking into the terminal and changing his information.

Mahmud HADILL SESHAT is fighting the BUREAUCRAT BOTSAfter fending off that fiendish scientist (who most certainly was just a troll who needed a hug and some recognition), Mahmud and Harpommy felt pretty good! After all, even if it was at the last moment both of them helped out! That took a lot of courage! Harpommy was courageous, Mahmud talked to someone today... this was certainly cause for going back to their dorm block, resting, and getting some ice cream. Ommy couldn't be a prouder bird... lady... thing.
That is, until they came down the hallway to face a robot.
Now normally, under normal conditions, this wouldn't alarm either party. Robots crawled (sometimes literally) all OVER this facility. Yet this one was... not quite right. She (or they; who was she to gender this hunk of metal) was screaming some sort of nonsense.
"Coo?"
After taking a couple more hops towards the lady, her son in tow, the machine started freaking out... AND OH GOD IT STOLE HER BABY. THE ROBOT STOLE HER BABY. HER SWEET, PRECIOUS MUDDY BUDDY THE SUNSHINE OF HER LIFE HER. BABYYYYYYYYYY.
"OMMY! OMMY! OMMY!" Mahmud kept calling out, as she furiously pecked at the red gleeming eyeball. LET GO OF HER PRECIOUS CHILD OR SWEAR TO GOD SHE WILL POOP ON EVERYTHING THIS THING LOVES.

As if things couldn't get any worse! Gosh their day had started so nicely, too... now this robot was ignoring all the eyeball pecking Harpommy was giving her and was strapping her child down, screaming... whatever gobbledygook she was screaming! Ommy considered herself a very smart harpy, but this thing was all sorts of odd. Note to self: never become associated with robots. It could only lead to misery and headaches.
So after a while of fruitless pecking, the mother decided to do what she did best and jump right on top of the robot, sitting on it as it spewed out questions even further. Its not much, but at least it'd get her off her poor, crying child's case!

Mahmud HADILL SESHAT is fighting the BUREAUCRAT BOTSFor some time Harpommy rode that robot like a rodeo, waiting for it to just CALM DOWN, when finally something seemed to click. Next thing she knew, the robot was all silent, still, and compliant. Was... was it over? Harpommy cooed once, then twice. Still silent. Oh thank goodness!
She untied her son via pecking through the ropes, taking his blubbering baby self back into her wing for a little while. Gog, he could get snotty when he cried... but that was Muddy Buddy for ya. All face until excrement hit the whirring cooling apparatus.
Once he calmed down, she nuzzled him once more before starting to walk off. "Ommy are you sure it's all safe? Of course it was! Why wouldn't it be?
And as she hopped over the hunk of metal to prove her point, something on the robot switched back on again.
"YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF--"
OH GOG IT STOLE HER BABY AGAIN. HER PRECIOUS BABY. HER MUDDY BUDDY, THE SUNSHINE OF HER LIFE HER. MOTHER. EFFIN. BABYYYYYYY.
HE WARNED her about the robots, bro!
