Well that was pretty gruesome and spectacular, if not overboard. But that's what Mages did. Either they were underwhelming in their attacks or they caused everything to explode. There really wasn't an in-between usually. Better the mage was on their side than not, that's for sure.
But Shinon had other things to worry about at this particular moment, namely about downing the last standing flying lizard.
He fires at the damned thing, doing... [8+1] x2 - 8 = 10 Dmg and he scowls darkly as the damned thing just barely manages to cling to life. He once again blames the RNG Gods for giving him shitty rolls.

From all her battle experience she has fought, never does she ever seen anything more gruesome and terrifying than Kira's attack on the wyvern. And because of this, she is drenched in blood when trying to calm her horse from a loud cracking of the thunder.
After this battle, I need to clean myself before meeting King Cyric and Sir Cornelius. Isadora thinks bitterly as she wipes the blood off her eyes and her horse's eyes. Seeing how Vika is talking to Freya and the Pegasus Knight, hoping that they will continue to assist them. Isadora gingerly rides toward Space 79, trying not to step whatever pieces of wyverns are left and investigate.
Seeing that the conflict had finally soothed at least for the moment, Seth guided his horse to Space 86 and Investigated. It would do them no good if something unexpected were to blindside them.
