B. Search the lounge
After the lights came back on, Book Smart headed into the now quiet lounge. There were boxes and maybe perhaps a box full of boxes. He thought he heard some screaming, but blamed it on his imagination.
"This is a very strange night,hopefully the killer is found before they strike again."
He went near the window, seeing two of the staff.
"How curious, those two are at the generator..."

Oh. So she wasn't going to kill him; she was just going to extort him. He sighed, half in relief, and half resigning. "Chop Chop told me he had a bunch of allergies to all sorts of things. All the stuff that tastes good. He was trying to find a cure for it. I was asking why he spent so much time with the Doctor when the lights went out."

"And now I am going to get you out of these darn ropes," she replied, doing just that, and carefully might she add ", See? I am no murderer. I don't even think I could of traveled fast enough to of subdue you from the library, which was where I was heading from before the lights when out. I am not exactly the fastest phony out there."

c-search the guest bedroom
Quarter Mane let out a sigh of relief as the lights flickered back to life. Well, that was certainly spooky and where the hell had that scream come from?
The stallion grimaced as he went through the items in the wash, his nose crinkling. Huh. Had Moneybags died while drinking wine or was this all just something he puked up from earlier? Well, that was sort of disgusting. He set the sheets aside, tossing them back in the wash.
"Delegator?" He called once more, spotting the door. "Hmm." Pursing his lips, the white phony entered the guest bedroom, just missing the other phony by seconds. "Hello?" He called as his eyes scanned the room, but there was no sign of the other male.
With a shrug he peeked under the bed. Doubtful that he'd find the other phony there, but maybe he'd find something else?

Art Room - Forego a search to look for the passage
Torts, now that she was on the second floor, was keen to continue her search in an attempt to find the east wing, remembering that there was some type of crawl space. So she moved on to the next room, the art room and began a search along the walls, trying to find any sort of hidden passage by checking the various pieces there. She felt as if all the eyes of the paintings were staring at her at she searched.

E: Search the previously locked guest bedroom
The lights came back and Edelweiss stopped trying to smack her torch on the floor, instead checking out the medical syringe with an odd little grin. This was getting good. Oh, wait- it was terrible, atrocious, oh how she wished she could get out of this house with her sweet fiancee.
Leaving the reading room, Edelweiss wandered into the next room and was instantly confronted by a doll army. "Wooooah, this is weird as hell, move aside guys," she marched past everyone else that was searching and simply started shoving dolls aside with little regard to where they fell. "There's gotta be something good in here!"

A: Investigate the boxes
The squee had been completely involuntary, she was just so excited to have some something so interesting. Clearing her throat, she gave everyphony who was staring a tiny glare. "Yes I found this, I shall be taking it for the police!" Penny announced and, not wanting to get stuck or accidently stick anyone with the needle, wrapped it carefully in her handkerchief (still damp with tears) and knotted the top. She set it next to the boxes she still hadn't opened and resumed going through them so no phony could steal it from her to hide it away or even worse, attempt to use it on her.

C: Search the art gallery (or if you want to forego a search for evidence, roll a d10 to find the passage).
There were flickers of light. That was enough to get Gumshoe going. He touched the walls and tapped on the creaky floor in hopes to find a secret passage. Fussbucket did say that Moneybags wanted to rebuild the east wing. If only he could get there now. He needed to check it out.
"Meh, can't scare me," said the pirate, err detective, out loud as the shadows followed him wherever he went.

Vigorish peered around the second floor, relieved to have finally arrived, and continued critically listening to the hubbub of rooms around him. There was a sound of flapping wings, and another Phony's attempt drew his gaze to the catwalk. Clearly someone else had tried - but with an intimation that he was nearing the end of this event running out of time, Vigorish took a deep breath, stretched his wings and launched himself upwards.
Like a well-aimed bullet (or an unrealistic action hero), Vigorish slid between the bars sideways, wings clasped tight to his side. Dusting off with his pinions as he rose, he regarded the pathway with grim determination.

"Thank you," he said, shrugging off the ropes. TACO hasn't really explored a lot yet. He was in the kitchen, the bathroom, and the wine cellar, though he was too occupied to search for anything when he was there. His sparkly judge's cape was bunched up and dirty. Whoever tied him down didn't care about fashion. He looked like a hot mess. There really wasn't much more information for him to give. "The cheese Chop Chop set out is really good..." It was the hottest tip he had. Delicious snacks. Because really what was a murder mystery dinner without the dinner.

A: Use the panel to head back to the sitting room
Diamante breathed a sigh of relief when the lights came back on. She really didn't want to like, be in a spooky dark house where a MURDER happened. Even if it was for pretend. She glanced back toward the kitchen. Bitter Pill would catch up with her soon enough! She went through the not-hidden panel to go back to the sitting room. Maybe they could go through the library... she remembered that was nearby.

This... looked like dad's old bedroom. Still full of his old stuff. Boring! Boring boring boring. A boring room for a boring dad. Even his clothes had been boring when he was little. What a tool.
Cutie had no time for a playroom, and had no interest in bathrooms. The room right next door was probably her aunt's or something stupid like that, but the room after that (B)... Maybe that would be grandpa's at last, and she could get to the bottom of this mystery! With her eyes on the prize, so to speak, Cutie set off down the hall.

A: Return to the dining room and use the panel to access the sitting room
Verrrry interesting! The answer seemed so close yet, so far away still. Bitter was definitely compiling a list of possible suspects on top of being so close to finding what the old man had been poisoned with. Had it been the wine? She guessed time would tell with that one.
Being done with most of the downstairs area Bitter Pill decided to head in the direction the little filly had headed off in. Hopefully they would meet up again and head upstairs.

Don Calimari looked about his options regretfully - he would be back for them had he the chance, but for now the large bedroom beckoned. That key was burning a hole in his pocket, and he figured the bigger the room, the more likely it would belong to his old friend Moneybags. Looking back at that jack-and-jill bathroom one last time, he set off down the hall.

A priest entered the room, and Pennybags was careful to nod at him. "Good luck in here" he said, because he was pretty sure he was already sufficiently creeped out by this. Instead he was gonna go through that door his daughter had taken to...
Ah, yes. His own bedroom. He lingered over his trophies for a few moments, a bit surprised to see his father had kept these around. He checked the closet briefly, too. Would there be anything in here? He'd have known, right?
Well. It wasn't like he still lived here. Maybe he didn't. But he was still fairly certain that he was the best phony to search for things in his own room.
