Choice Nine Results!
If you chose A... The broken machines are a little creepy, but they’re a great place to look for eggs. You trawl through the innards of Ms. Pacman, Primal Fury, and Street Fighter. You comb the cabinet of Marvel vs. Capcom and scour the darkness beneath the control panel of Ridge Racer… but there’s no eggs to be found there. If you rolled an even number, however, you get it into your head to look in an open tool box, wherein you find an egg! If you rolled an odd number, all you get is grease stains.
If you chose B... The Skee-ball machine is one of the older models- a wooden ramp instead of melamine, a bit cracked in warped in places. Still pretty fun, though! There’s no immediate eggs to be seen, unfortunately. None in the netting, none tucked up under the hoops… but as you roll the wooden balls up the ramp towards the goals, you realize that the feed tube hasn’t been stocked with just those neat wooden balls. It’s been stocked with a ton of eggs, too! Everybody who picked B gets an egg!
If you chose C... The UFO catcher is just like any other UFO catcher you’ve ever seen. It’s filled with generic stuffed animals, unspeakably weird licensed character plushes, and… Easter eggs! You use your tokens and try your luck. If you are within three of the number rolled at the top of this post, you get an egg! If you don’t, you manage to pull out an oddly stiff plush toy. Probably pretty cute, though!
If you chose D... This pinball machine is amazing. It’s got everything you could ever want out of an arcade machine, right down to the glorious Paul Faris chimera on the backglass to the wonderfully satisfying noises made when the balls bounce off the bumpers. This machine's got all the bells and whistles- spinning cards that make a lovely whirring noise, lights that spell out the machine's name as you get bonuses, a dragon-winged barbarian hero... It’s the culmination of that glorious nostalgia of the old arcade days, where you could hang out in semi-dark rooms for hours and hours without a care in the world. As you play the machine, you’re the mighty table king… doesn’t mean you find any eggs, though. It’s a shame it wasn’t a chicken machine instead.
If you chose E... The out-of-order pinball machine is just devastatingly sad. Not only is it out of order but it’s just… a sad machine in general. “Wo l C p S c r 1 94” proclaims its backcard, the plastic faded from time and warped from wear. The table was soccer themed at one point; dusty spinner cards and a faded dome with traces of decorative paint hint at this. It’s certainly seen better days- the steel ramp is bent and the interior lights are cracked. If you were the first person to pick the sad pinball machine, you notice that an egg has been placed down by one of the legs of the machine!
If you chose F... You search through one of the prize boxes. It’s a veritable treasure trove of cheap plastic toys. Spider rings, squeaky dolphins, bead necklaces, off-balance tops, Kewpie dolls (or was that kelpie dolls?), sticky hands, rubber frogs, paratropers, those little plastic snakes, vinyl hacky sacks, miniature rubber ducks, plastic eggs, little metallic aliens, super balls, those dinosaurs that grow when you put them in water, oddly-shaped finger puppets… The list goes on and on. If you rolled an even number, you get distracted by the little paratrooper guys and/or get stuck in one of those folded paper finger traps- those get you every time. If you rolled an odd number, you realize that plastic eggs were halfway through that list and you grab an Easter egg!

As the room echoes with beeps, clangs, and electronic chirrups, the purple unicorn once again appears to bring the lights up and usher you into the next room. There’s a palpable feeling of excitement- what could this next room hold?
The smell hits you first. It’s a gamy, animal smell; this makes sense because this room is… full of animals. In pens and on straw. A straw-hatted Jump Scare chews on a wheat stalk and gestures at the critters. “You know what they say. Old McDonald had a far, e-i-e-i-go look for eggs!” He strokes the fluffy chicken he’s holding as it clucks and nestles into him. Even Jump Scare can look almost innocent when he’s cuddling a chicken. This room is extremely well-lit and actually quite clean; the animals all have plenty of access to food and water and have places to hide if they need to- nobody’s being hurt or stressed here! “I’ve hidden eggs in some of the pens,” Jump Scare says. “In the water troughs, in the bedding... the only thing I’ll let you know for sure is that I haven’t hidden any eggs in any of the animals. That’d just be cruel, wouldn’t it now?” He’s stopped addressing you and is now talking to the chicken. It clucks reassuringly.
The penned animals eye you. A baby goat bleats and jumps on its friend, while a bunch of hens cackle merrily to each other. This room is by far the cutest thing you've seen today.
Which animal do you look for eggs with? A. Baby goats! B. A llama! C. A small flock of hens! D. A pony! E. A sheep! F. Some guinea pigs!

If his purpose in life were anything at all to do with electronics, Haute felt sure he would have discovered that, at the very least, among the disassembled cabinets. However, his name left nothing to imagination, so there wasn't even a chance of that happening. Fortunately, there was a very good chance of egg discovery - point of fact, Haute snatched one out of a toolbox as he rooted around in the dark.
Negative had a blast playing pinball. That's really all there is to be said on the matter.
The next room was... full of animals! Haute was sorely torn about which animals to examine - sheep, goats, and llamas were all textile producing animals, but the chickens and the guinea pigs both looked pretty cuddly. The pony was never an option - it was too eerie to see the "realistic," unintelligent version of himself.
Suppressing a shudder, Haute wandered over to the llama (B), with Negative contentedly drifting along behind him. They were ornery animals, he'd heard, but since this one was in a petting zoo sort of setting, maybe it would be a well-behaved specimen?
