↳His dark eyes searched the street more as Tsubin looked around to reorient himself. It wasn't often he had been outside at this time of day when he was staying for school anyway. Ambient lighting at different times of the day always seemed to change how places looked, but everything was still recognizable. No drastic event happened to alter what the side of the Pokemon Center looked like. "Yeah, I'm fine," he answered as she deflected the question back to him. The situation they initially found themselves sure took a turn ---- Hell, his whole trip went in that direction out of nowhere. He had questions, certainly, that would hopefully confirm or deny the suspicions that arisen over the past few hours. It didn't seem like a good time to ask any of them out in the open, or while Aelin was this distraught. "Ah, so much for a carefree vacation before my last year at school. Heh... oh well. Always next time." He shrugged, looking back at her.
The sight of a few leaves stuck to his shoulder in his peripheral momentarily distracted him, and he brushed them off quickly, as well as whatever was on his front. She was right. Those two had no idea who he was: probably as much as he knew of them, which was... nothing at all. If this were to happen again, he'd prefer it stay that way. "Yeah. Hospital is probably the safest bet for now," Tsubin agreed. "Not to mention you've been needing to get there anyway." He paused as she suddenly put her hand on his arm and apologized. Aelin was actually crying now? s**t... comforting people wasn't one of his strong suits. "Hey, no worries. I'd feel worse about not being able to help in some way," he said, mustering a smile as he waved a hand. And then he saw a few scratches along his own knuckles. Ah... right. He dragged her through the denser part of the forest, through all the brush and bramble. He did have a few scratches on his face and hands, but the sleeves of his jacket and his jeans covered him well enough. It was hard to see if she had been scratched up in the current lighting. "Sorry about.... er... you know. Spontaneous off-road adventure. On the bright side, no poison ivy in the forest." He turned away to look down the street past the PokeCenter. His eyes wandered upward, following the line of the corner on a particularly tall building until he saw the lit signage that identified it as what they were looking for. "C'mon now. Hospital's right over here. This should be the side we could get to Urgent Care from." He kept the arm her hand was already on out in case she needed to grab it for whatever reason, but he also kept himself turned away and ready to lead her along the street. Along with all the assumptions he had been making, he thought she seemed like the kind of girl who didn't like to be seen crying by anyone.

Aelin nodded as her friend confirmed he was okay. She took another deep breathe, she needed to calm herself. It would do their situation no good if she wasn't calm. If she didn't calm down now! Tsubin looked around again, probably making sure that Alyrra was not behind them. She smiled slightly at the sight of the leaves on him, which caused her to look down and instinctively brush off the debris on her own front. It was a good thing she brought extra clothes... She sighed through her nose, "I'm sorry I have so far ruined your last vacation.." She lamented. She should be the bigger person and tell him to go on his own. She was no use to him like this... Or to anyone for that matter... She would probably be better just to go home... Be the stupid little wife to whatever man her mother had picked... Probably used for little more than a piece of jewelry and baby maker... The thought made her angry, she wouldn't let that happen. She had too much she wanted to do...
"Alright. You know this city better than I do." She said. Mostly pointing out her own insignificant knowledge about anything regarding this region other than positioning of cities. She glanced at her injured hand, the throbbing subsiding a little but still possibly the other reason for the tears starting to fall. "Yeah... No worries. I appreciate that you knew your way through the forest in the first place." The brunette chuckled a little at the poison ivy comment. Wiping away some tears, "are you allergic to Poison Ivy?" She tried to sound teasing. She dropped her hand from his arm. More in her own way, attempting to keep herself from leaning on him too much if he were to leave after this. But he had kept his arm out... Like a gentleman, or so she assumed. Sighing, she took his arm, thankful for the extra support he was giving and motioned for him to lead the way. "You know, I hate crying. It's so weak... And here you are, having seen me cry twice in just a couple hours. What are you doing to me?" She teased.

↳He waved off her apology, shaking his head. "Nah, you didn't," he said. "You came out here to get a break too, didn't you? I'd say they ruined it for both of us." He took one last deep breath, letting it out in a huff, raising an eyebrow at her about the poison ivy comment. "Well, no. Oils from it are just not nice to have on you in general. If I ended up getting any of it on me, it'd mostly be on my hands and clothes. You, on the other hand..." At some point, he'd have to consciously stop himself from making hand comments while Aelin's was still injured. "... I probably still would've avoided touching my face until I washed my hands off, you know. You didn't get too scratched up from our little run, did you?"
He had always watched his parents walking arm in arm with each other while he was growing up and they were all on a walk in a neighboring city. Others seemed to have done so too, with friends or not-friends. Actually now that he thought about it, he didn't know if offering his arm to someone was a normal thing people just did. He also wasn't expecting her to accept it, drawing a bit of color to his face as he slightly turned his head away and led her toward the hospital. The streetlamps weren't on yet, but Hikari was now hovering next to him at eye-level. Despite her face being glassy and the bit of flame suggesting her mouth not keeping much of an ambiguous form for most people to not be able to read her expression, Tsubin knew exactly how she was looking at him. He scowled at her, pushing her face away from his with his free hand. "No you." She let out a noise that sounded like a giggle and floated ahead of them. He huffed again as Aelin started teasing again in an attempt to lighten the mood. "I dunno, does not being an a*****e and making you cry even more count?" he asked.
At least three buildings past the Pokemon Center went by them before they reached a larger structure. As they approached the automatic doors, he turned to her curiously, color no longer on his face. "Say, Aelin... How did they track you down all the way here in Hoenn anyway? Did you talk about wanting to come here a lot?" he asked as he walked her inside the lobby. "Or... are they tracking you somehow?"

Aelin nodded. Sure he would say it wasn't her that ruined it. However, if she hadn't run away... "If you say so." The girl chuckled quietly as he attempted to rectify saying hand but she shrugged. "I'm not going to break out or anything. But i appreciate the concern. I'm mostly okay. Some sticks in my hair and possibly some scratches along my arms and legs, but I'll be fine." She said. Trying to sound more put together than she felt. She brushed fingers through her hair and pulled a small twig to prove her point. Seems she would need to really put it up.
Aelin noticed the boy turn his face away as he started going slightly pink. Her own face turned a little pink at the thought, but she smiled. It was cute that he seemed to be shocked that she took his arm. He offered. She knew it probably would be seen as something more intimate by others. But... Friends do it too... Or... So she thought. She didn't really have any friends. Maybe? "What did she say?" Aelin asked curiously as the male beside her pushed Hikari away which caused the little ghost to... Giggle? And float ahead of them. She chuckled at the giggling lampent, before turning back to quizzically look at Tsubin. "Hmmm. I suppose that would count... Perhaps." She smirked. Wiping the remaining tears from her face, Aelin walked with her arm through Tsubin's. Letting him lead the way. She looked around, watching the buildings pass. A light pink still apparent across her nose.
As they neared the hospital, Tsubin suddenly turned towards her. He no longer had the cute pink across his face, but he seemed to be serious. His question sent chills down her spine but she shook her head. "From Alyrra's words... I don't think they tracked me here. My family probably sent people to all the areas around starting labs... I've... Begged my parents before to let me go on a pokemon adventure... But they always said no..." She said, going quiet towards the end. She was angry at the whole situation. But, she wouldn't let it show. Or at least, she would try not too anyway.... The girl took a deep breathe as they entered the lobby. They approached the counter. "Excuse me... I uh, need to be seen?'
"Alright. Just fill out this paper here and bring it back up." The nurse said as she handed a clipboard to Aelin. Aelin took the clipboard as she let go of Tsubin's arm. "Uh... Is there anyway... We could go to a different concealed room?" She asked quietly. The nurse looked up with a raised eyebrow. "We are... Being followed by dangerous people. Please?" The nurse tilted her head slightly, looked behind them to see if she could see the people Aelin mentioned. Sighing, the nurse nodded and led them to an inner waiting room away from windows. "Just bring the clipboard back to the front when you are finished okay?" Aelin nodded as she sat. She looked up to Tsubin, "I forgot to ask her not to tell anyone we were here... But hopefully she would realize from what i said... Right?" She looked down to the clipboard and set it on her leg. She would need to brace it with her injured hand, but hopefully it wouldn't hurt too bad.

↳It seemed he didn't have to worry about her too much. That was fine, but Tsubin thought she still seemed a bit shaken up. Given the circumstances, he understood that she wanted to hide it. Despite all that had happened up to now, he was still relatively calm. Perhaps all the tv series and manga he had been keeping up with were preparing him for something like this already. Not so much the walk down the street though. Obviously no amount of reading or watching scenes from those shows would've led him to believe he would ever find himself walking with a girl he barely knew. Alone. He did manage to catch a glimpse of himself reflected off Hikari's glassy body: he wasn't handling it very well, it appeared. "N-nothing at all," he responded rather quickly to Aelin's inquiry, also grabbing Hikari's pokeball and avoiding turning in the older girl's direction. With a press of the button and the lid popping open, she disappeared back into the capsule. "Wouldn't be good for other patients to see Lampents around hospitals anyway. Have you seen their 'dex entries?"
He kept quiet as she explained how she was probably discovered in Hoenn. It did make sense, but they were in the lobby now. It probably wasn't safe to keep discussing it even if they whispered, at least until they found somewhere more private. Perhaps it was fortunate that Aelin thought to ask about a different room for them to hide in while she was filling out the medical survey. "I'd hope so," he said, helping the door close quietly behind them before wandering over to the seats. "If there's not a box to check on that survey, I think it might be something to request. Otherwise, let's hope you're not on file as a missing person." Noticing her trying to find a spot to put the clipboard to write on it, he walked over to the side of the nearby bench, picking a potted plant off the side table and moving it to the coffee table. "Here." He brought the now-bare side table in front of Aelin before taking a seat for himself nearby and pulling out his phone.
On the lock screen, a tab that appeared on wake-up revealed he had an unread message from just minutes ago. Huh. When did he get this? He didn't even feel his phone vibrate or hear his message tone go off when they were outside. How curious. But there was something else on his mind, mentioned before they were brought to the room. "Mind if I guess what's going on?" he asked, turning to her. "You're from one of those old-fashioned wealthy families, right? Ran off because they wanted you to do stuff you didn't wanna get into? And Alyrra is that lady from back there?" He turned his gaze back to his phone, unlocking it and tapping the message icon. "She does look like you. Sister?"
It was a text from his cousin Alden. Got here pretty fast, it read. The ******** are you running from? Tsubin suddenly felt a chill run up his spine, but he managed to keep his expression neutral enough. He couldn't tell if he still had normal coloring on his face though. Was he the one being tracked?

She asked curiously. She could have certainly looked it up herself, but that would mean pulling out the Dex... And she had other things to worry about. Like... If Alyrra just... Appeared. She glanced behind her once more before they left the lobby. Making sure the brunette hadn't followed her...
Sitting in the seat, trying to balance the clipboard was kind of hard, but then her knight in shining armor brought over a table. She looked up a little embarrassed, to thank him but he had already moved to take a seat. Not next to her as she may have thought, but nearby. That was fine. They were only just acquainted. She sighed through her nose. She really needed to learn the art of making friends and what was acceptable... She slightly shook her head, pieces of hair falling into her eyes. "Thank you Tsubin. I appreciate it..." She said, unfolding the leg she had under her and sitting forwards. "There doesn't seem to be. I'll make sure to ask when I take the paper back..." She started looking over the paper when his next words caught her attention. "I... Doubt i'm currently labeled as a missing person... It would... 'Ruin' my mother's reputation. Wouldn't want to let the other... Party know that the prize may have sullied herself by running around." The anger in her words spiked a bit. She was no prize. She was damaged goods at best. Aelin leaned back forwards after uncrossing her legs. She finished the paperwork quickly. Trying not to make any sounds that might distract himself or her for that matter. She stood slowly, nudging the table out of the way. She started towards the door. "Look... I understand if this sort of thing... Causes you to no longer wish to travel with me... Aelin unhappily rubbed her face as the nurse nodded in agreement. "Thank you so much." She said quietly, the tears threatening to overrun her eyes again. The nurse had mentioned that if she was a minor she wouldn't be able to keep that promise, but a glance at the girl's info proved that she was definitely not a minor. Aelin let out the held breathe she didn't realize she was holding. Then lowered her arms. When one brushed a pokeball. Her eyes widened. "Uh... Do you have any one who could... Take my pokemon to the pokemon center while i'm here? I'm just... Wary going out right now with them searching for me... And one of them kicked my Torchic pretty hard. I'm worried about her." The girl explained. The nurse looked shocked at the girl who pulled out 2 pokeballs. Her Torchic and Bagon. She was worried that they were hurt... The nurse sighed then nodded. "Don't worry. I'll have someone take them over to get a good check up. Now... Please go take a seat in the waiting area. Someone will be back to call you forwards to get your vitals in just a moment, then we will get you into a room." Aelin nodded and headed back towards where her friend waited. But... She was nervous. What if he didn't want to be her friend anymore? What would she do? She leaned against the wall near the door to the waiting room and slid to the floor... The tears falling down her face. The nurse shortly took the two pokeballs to the center. Promising to return, the nurse headed back to make sure that the hospital wasn't too crazed. Celery popped out of her ball pretty quickly and let the nurse Joy look her over. Just to make sure that crazy lady hadn't hurt her too much. Then Bacon did the same. They hopped around the pokemon center once they were done. Worried where their trainer was. Especially with that crazy woman about. Celery looked up as the doors opened, and bolted with Bacon behind her. They needed to find Aelin. Walking about, Celery saw some pokemon nearby and fluttered over. It tilted it's head and started trying to ask about her trainer... But they got a little upset that a 'Trainer pokemon' was talking to them. Unfortunately... Celery fainted to the first of two marill. Bacon scooped up the Torchic after beating the two Marill and retunred to the pokemon center...

Celery stomped it's feet outside the center moments later. Bacon on her heels. She stormed her way to where the other pokemon stood around their fainted comrades. Torchic skreed at them and a Marill jumped forwards again. Raring for battle. Celery was able to take out the Marill, but the Wingull following after took her out in one shot. Bacon finished off the Wingull and ran Celery back again... Hopefully he could keep her calm this time and she won't go fighting again

Unfortunately, Celery is a little more feisty than they knew. She stormed out the doors again, ready to take down some wild pokemon! Celery took out the first poochyena without any problems. But the second threw sand in her eyes. Luckily, she still hit with the scratch before the poochyena could do anything else. Shaking her head, she got the sand out of her eyes. Ready for whatever came next. After a few moments, Bacon and Celery made their way back towards the Pokemon Center. The wild pokemon pretty much all fainted. She would have smiled if not for the beak. But, as they approached the Center, the original nurse saw them and scrambled to put them back in their pokeballs to bring back inside the hospital. She had spent a few moments searching for the patients pokemon.

Aelin stood slowly, returning Potato to his ball, when a nurse came down the hall towards the door and stopped startled. "Aelin?" She questioned after looking down at the paperwork in her hands. Aelin nodded and walked over. She followed the nurse into a separate room to get her vitals. Slightly elevated blood pressure, temperature fine, and the works. She asked to see aelin's hand and expertly unwrapped the bandaged hand. She was very professional and didn't really grimace. If Aelin hadn't been looking at the nurse's face, she would probably have missed the grimace entirely, it had been so small. The nurse made some notes and wrapped it in clean bandages again. Aelin followed the nurse back into the waiting room. "We will call you back into a room shortly." She said, shutting the door behind Aelin. The girl turned blue grey eyes towards her friend... She had been gone maybe 15 or 20 minutes. Would he have been worried?
Celery and Bacon were scurried back towards the hospital. But as they went, a Milcery watched the two. Why were they being ushered in there? Was there something happening? She twirled happily and followed after the nurse and the two pokemon.

↳It had been a good while since he had last checked Pokédex entries for Hikari’s evolution line. Recalling when she first approached him and his siblings, her appearance was worrisome, of course. Litwick would lead people to the afterlife while burning up their souls along the way, or something like that. Perhaps Hikari knew and understood how she was seen at the time, keeping her flame off. "Lampents would hang out around hospitals and steal the souls of the dying as they pass to use as fuel for their fires," he summarized. "At least that's only part of the entry. So yeah, not the best Pokemon to have around hospitals."
He sat quietly, still staring at the message window on his phone as Aelin answered his guesses. Most of his assumptions were confirmed, but he also got more information about her family. Sounded like his own, in terms of demographics, except no twins. "Ew, your mom's trying to marry you off?" he asked, looking over at her. "What century are we supposed to be in? And your other siblings aren't against it either?" No wonder she ran away.
Another text popped up on his screen. No really. Why were you running and why are you at the hospital, it read. It occupied him as Aelin went to give the clipboard back to the clerk. How the hell did you know? he replied back, his thumbs tapping rapidly over the screen in quick precision. You know that's hella creepy, right? After sending his reply, Tsubin looked up for a few moments as she returned to the room and sat back down. He noticed her tearing up again, her Trapinch releasing itself from its pokeball to comfort her. "Hey, Aelin," he spoke, ignoring the reply that buzzed his phone again. Lol, tell that to the family system."Despite all that happened so far, I'm still okay traveling together. We're still heading down the same path anyway, aren't we?"
His eyes wandered back to his screen, and he raised an eyebrow at the message. ??? I don't follow? Like are you tracking me or something?
w/e... and kinda? You ran like straight through the forest. Did you or your friend get hurt?
He paused for a moment. Wait... Alden saw him with that other girl earlier. Tsubin wondered where she went. Would they run into each other again later on? No. I met someone else who did. Not why we were running though.
In other words, you or that person are in danger?
Well... Tsubin wasn't sure how much in "danger" they were in this situation. He just knew he didn't like the situation in general, or the vibes Alyrra gave off. How would he answer without over-exaggerating or sugar-coating the situation with Aelin having run away from home and being tracked down? He stared at the screen for a few more moments in thought, not noticing the sound of the automatic door in the lobby opening, but seemingly nobody walking in, the sound of tiny claws tapping against the tiled floors. Kinda? Well, that was the truth, as far as he knew.
Stay at our place then. Come over after you get out. Tsubin was hesitant to reply again. Or even to actually accept the invitation. Still though, he was curious. His phone didn't have the app that tracked others in his address book if they allowed it. Actually, now that he thought of it, he wasn't sure what phone service the family was even using. His uncle was the one who gave him, his parents, and his siblings their phones in the first place. Were they using a completely private system or... No, he didn't want to think about it.
And as if on cue, he looked up as he heard some sniffing noises outside the door. Staring in the sound's direction, he slowly stood up from his seat and walked over, cracking open the door and looking around. He only looked down when he noticed brilliant yellow reflected off the walls in the bright hallway. The familiar sight of blue eyes in the middle of the bright ball of fluff caught him off guard as it let out a loud yap up at him. "Haystack?" Another sharp affirmative yap came back in response as the Zapom hopped up at him, standing up on his hind legs. A small smile formed on Tsubin's face as he leaned over and picked the fluffy, staticky canine off the floor and held him up at eye-level. "Buddy, what are you doing in a hospital? Did you get separated from the others?"

Aelin was surprised at the information given about Hikari's Pokedex entry. That was really metal. Or... Rock? It was totes hard core. She smirked slightly at this thought process. "I concur. Probably shouldn't have her inside." His concern about what she said had her looking up at him. "My parents... Yeah, they wanted my... Breeding potential? I guess... Something about our bloodline mixing with the other family's... My oldest brother has a wife who is the perfect lady. My elder sister is to be married very soon, and is the epitome of grace and posture." By this point, Aelin was walking back and forth, hating every word that came out of her mouth. Yes, she ran away. Yes, she was an adult... "We are in the modern century... But it's like things work differently for them. I couldn't stand it."
When she returned and Tsubin started talking, she looked up at him. She nodded. "Yeah... Yeah we are. Thanks." She said, thankful to have a friend. Her first friend not a pokemon. He got very concerned as he looked at his phone, she sat closer to him. Sort of to look over his shoulder, but far enough away to not be in his space. "What's up? Everything okay?" She asked curiously. The screen had his attention pretty heavily. But then, he stood and an electric dog entered the room. She almost squealed it was so cute! She stood and walked over, "Oh my goodness you are so cute! Haystack? That's an adorable name!" She wanted to reach out to pet the pupper, but soon a nurse walked in. "Aelin, we have a room ready for you. Please follow me. Your pokemon are already inside the room waiting for you."
Aelin turned towards Tsubin, "You coming with? I promise there will be no undressing." She tried to tease.

↳Tsubin could't help but stare at Aelin for the things she had just told him, brows furrowed. What on earth... Breeding potential? Breeding potential?"Wh....." Crap, what was language again? That first bit left him pretty speechless...... oh, right. "I'm sorry, do they think you're a Furfrou raised for those shows or something? No offense, but from what you've told me so far, I reeeaaally don't like your folks." It was hard to imagine living in wealth in the first place. The financial security sounded nice, sure; but it sounded like a much different cage to be stuck in with a family like that. A whole 'nother personal hell he'd never want to find himself in.
Ah... she noticed he was focused on his messages after all. "Ah, right. Uh..." But they both got distracted by the appearance of the Zapom that had tracked him down. The small canine yapped at Aelin as he turned his head to see her, baring his tiny fangs as he growled. With his size, it wasn't very intimidating, but it was amusing to Tsubin as he held the wriggling pokemon. "Oh. Strangers, right Haystack? Don't worry Ae, he'll warm up to you eventually." His attention turned to the nurse who came to get Aelin and reunite her with her pokemon, then back to Aelin as she invited him along. "Oh, I'd hope not. Not enough privacy here for that." Hopefully the nurse realized this was just playful banter

Aelin was getting angrier by the minute, but the fire would have to wait. The ire... She took a deep breathe, and looked over at her friend. His reaction was expected, and Aelin crossed her arms. Trying to show how much she was defying it as well. "I understand... But, they want the... Best Genes, for their lines... The incaendium line is pretty... Worthwhile... At least that's what my family thinks..." She sighed and rubbed her temples. She wasn't some stupid Furfrou, or even one of the other pokemon that people competed in shows for. She was a person, with thoughts, feelings and a mind of her own. She was incredibly stubborn, which was why she had run away. "But that's not going to happen. I refuse."
Ae chuckled, "Aww your just a little feisty puppy huh? So cute!" She said smiling at the small yellow dog that was now growling and wriggling at her. She chuckled again, he was so stinkin cute! She would have one. Maybe... She shook her head as Tsubin's comment in response to her own teasing made her giggle. "Oh sure, Privacy is the problem." She teased back. The look the nurse gave them made Aelin want to laugh. "First of all, this is a hospital. Please don't do anything dumb in the rooms. There are cameras..." After a sigh, the nurse led them to the room Aelin would be in to be looked over by the doctor. She sat on the bed thing and pulled Celery onto the bed with her. "No worries Nurse, I wouldn't dream of something so immoral. He's not even of age!" She said still teasing as she fluffed up the feathers on her Torchic's head. The nurse rolled her eyes and left the room. The doctor would be in shortly with another nurse to look at her hand and probably re bandage it.
