Deacon took a moment to process being called a princess, the look on his face going from pleasantly indifferent to a narrow-eyed glare. "That's rude... Surely I dressed at least the part of a Duchess." Demi was lucky for just that glare and sarcasm; the 'old' Deacon probably would have tried to break his nose for such a comment.
He was still giving the boil a disapproving look as he popped the biscuit into his mouth. That's right, Demi, it wasn't yours.
Deacon's demeanor relaxed again, with him giving a muffled chuckle as he chewed. "Wish I could say the same," he replied, "I can't say I've got a stash in my dorm." Really, he couldn't. If any of the gnomes overheard there would surely be hell to pay.
And instead of taking Demi's offered arm, Deacon was swinging an arm around his shoulders. Collecting Brand in the same fashion, the tabby had no qualms in being the one to lead them back toward the mysterious drink table and games nearby.
"Maybe another drink will fix that little problem of yours, Brand. Or, maybe it'll make it worse. Guess we'll find out in a few."

Amarus was covering her mouth with one hand, trying to mask the fact she was giggling quietly at West and his attitudes. She did not particularly mind whatever he said; it had no impact on her, and worse had been said.
When Amrita came into view, Amarus' expression went blank for a moment, and she bowed to try to hide the worst of it as the transition came over her. Memories of Amrita, memories of Moon: they overlapped so that she was not sure how to feel. The way that Amrita answered West gave Amarus enough fuel to unfreeze her expression, a quiet smile on her face.
"I could do far worse than to walk in your shadow, Amrita," Amarus said, touching her own hand to her own chest as if in some mild reverence for the upper classman whose position she now had the difficult task of surmounting. Piper's campaign, Amarus could not help but feel, had been right of previous years: ghouls got things done.
Amrita had certainly been a force to be reckoned with, both when she was of sound mind and when she was not.

Looking at your date was overrated anyways. Briefly, as he stared off into the crowd, he wondered what ever had become of Jove. He had thought that the promise of spookies would have been more than enough to lure the ghost boil in, but he had not heard a thing from him since the text had been sent, nor seen any part of him either. Should he have gone out and fetched the other boil? A hand went into his pocket again, pulling out his phone to glance at it in case he had missed something.... The crunch of a carrot and the subsequent scent that infiltrated the air from it had his head swiveling back towards Holly, his phone dropped for now. He glanced down to his plate, eyeing the contents. Carrots, meat....he scooped up one to wrap it in the other and took a satisfyingly crunchy bite, almost able to pretend that he was actually munching on the bones of his enemies. He took in her apology with a mostly impassive look, and then said. "I don't know. Vould you be okay vith someone pulling on your branches? Tickling your leaves?"

Alexander caught the smile, no matter how subtle, and he had to laugh, though the sound was easily drowned out by the music that thrummed loudly through the air. He gave his head a small shake, white and black hair flopping in front of his eyes before he pushed it back, and he continued to dance, not judging the weremantis in the slightest for how he moved, just grateful as he always was that he would even agree to join him on the dance floor to begin with. As usual, Alexander proved to be much more loose, flexible, and quick on his feet than how he behaved normally, able to shuffle, slide, groove and move his body to the beat of the music almost effortlessly. It wasn't long before he was leaning in closer, not wishing to push his luck or make his fiance any more uncomfortable than he really needed to be...at least, for a lengthy period of time. "Do you want to go and get a drink?" He had to pretty much shout to be heard.

Yin could barely make out Alexander's words but then he was nodding, a grateful smile on his face. He captured Alexander's skeletal hand in his own clawed one so they would not get separated, then tried to skirt the crowd to head toward the refreshments. Alexander was following along willingly enough, but really Yin had expected him to move a bit faster if they were going to go ahead and dance. Then again, maybe Alexander was letting him choose where they danced? He cast a searching look back and up at the zomboil, then finally just stopped in a relatively free area. "Will this be enough room for you to dance?" He did started an awkward shuffle/sway to the rhythm. At least with these types of events Alexander was normally happy so long as he was satisfied once.

To Titus, Hel's lips simply quirked up in a smirk. " Truly, Titus?" She scoffed at that come back. It was weak. "I can dress damn well how I please anytime I feel like!" But yes, maybe she was just...wanting to pretend for one night. Hel shot a grin to Riyo at the compliment, which made her chest puff out more...not that she needed to do that. Helmut was then making her getaway with Xavier though, and since Hel was still occupied with Piper and Brenley, she did not, luckily, chase them. She did get one more hit in though since they were quickly fleeing the scene. "MAKE CERTAIN TO USE PROTECTION CHARMS!" That then left Brenley and Piper. " Ghoul--" Hel returned to the afro reaper. "You s-s-stuttered...so..." Her lips pulled up into a wicked smirk, and then she then looked at Brenley, who had, unsurprisingly, gone silent. "We--?" She prompted the reaper boil. "Come on, Bren!" She encouraged(?). "Canon Cat got your tongue?"

" I never said you couldn't play pretend. The fact that you even have a wedding dress is a little sad." He gestured to her chest. " If you don't stretch it out too much maybe you can give it to someone who will actually use it." Spouting off like that made Titus reminisce about the good old days. When had he become so friendly? And yes, he still considered this friendly. The demon had a ways to go when it came to realizing what friendship was all about. When Riyo complimented Hel, Titus merely tried to shoo her on. " Don't compliment, Kidget. That s**t will go right to her head." Or her bosom apparently as her chest swelled with pride. That was dangerous ground for the demon and he sought to make a hasty exit from the scene only to find himself going in the direction of Freya and.....wait....what was that?? Hel had said her sister had spawned but he had never expected to actually see her scareling. The small baby was being passed around and Titus was certain a different direction would be safer. " Jack, damn it all don't they make people leave their pets at the door?" No where was safe. Nio Love No need to respond since I don't think Titus is that close. Just wanted you to know he's on to Freya

Hollandaise watched curiously as he ate. She didn't hate meat, although she rarely preferred it. They were creeple who even ate mini-pets. Even that didn't terribly bother her, but she hoped no one would eat her min-pets. A thought struck her - what if Aisha ate Twizzler?! Her eyes scanned the crowd for the undead ghoul. (And she didn't have to look hard, not really, she might have been keeping general tabs on the pair the entire night... maybe). She breathed out a rather creaky sigh of relief. Aisha didn't look like someone who had stuffed herself with a tiny bat. ...She hoped. But Mathias was saying something and she was being rude. Her eyes narrowed; that was not the same thing at all! "If someone wished, they could 'tickle my leaves', though I'm not entirely sure what that entails, Mathias. Pulling my branches, though..." Her hand had dropped from hovering near his ears (which still looked far too soft for their own good) to stroke distractedly at her shoulder. It wasn't that she hated creeple touching her, it was that she didn't trust them. A pluncked off leaf felt like bring burned, a broken branch like a twisted ankle. She made a plaintive face at him. "If someone were to pluck off a leaf or break a branch, it would hurt, Mathias. I do not like being hurt." She wriggled her toes again. The boil was studiously not looking at her. It was a little disconcerting. "But your ears do not hurt you, it looked liked you felt good - so it is alright?" Her eyes drifted to Deszeld and Aisha just in time to see them head off. The corners of her mouth tightened. Abruptly, she blinked, once more focusing on Mathias with a small smile. "Earlier, were you texting someone to meet up with? And is there something you wish to go do? Do you want to dance? Are you going to avoid looking at me the rest of the night - not that that is a bad thing if you so wish? Or go to the photobooth?" Her questions were rapid-fire and she canted her head to one side. But her eyes still followed the two ghouls. Hollandaise wouldn't admit it, but maybe, just maaaaybe, she really wanted to go follow Deszeld and Aisha. Just to, ah, make sure Aisha was playing nice, of course. Of course.

Muka's head turned back to the ghouls as the conversation turned to food. His free arm extended to Siobhan, grinning as he offered the escort to the buffet. The owl boil wasn't totally out of it though. He giggled, eyebrows rising. "Speaking of hhrmm.. One Dissection.." Another laughed. "I hear Hairy Biles has a tattoo on his-" They were jostled in the crowd and he paused to excuse whoever bumped them.

Nonono go after the screeching little ghoul, the chase was so much more fun than sticking around and watching them get more and more awkward.
She wanted to tell Hel off, but the only thing that came out of her mouth was a squeaked, "Don't tell them." She wasn't sure if Freya and Kettil were there, but with her luck at least one of them was.
"Hey, Bren, let's, um, go check out the drink stuff," she mumbled, tugging the boil's arm as she tried to make her own get away.

He tried again.
"Yes. We... should go." Brenley's voice was steady, but he still looked a little like he'd been slapped. He didn't know why he hadn't better prepared himself for this. They were going out in public... together. Chances were high that they would have a Helmergency. Or worse.
He was grateful for Piper's arm as it pulled him along, though putting one shaking foot in front of the other again didn't distract him from what she had said.
"Them who?" And what did she not want them told?

Xavier was now caught between a certain sense of despair at Helmut's stammering - and her letting go of his hand - his own inability to say words that actually meant anything other than uh and erm, and Hel's cackling laughter, as well as her totally unhelpful comments about marriage and scarelings and courting.
Needless to say, the situation had gotten a little bit out of hand.
(A lot out of hand.)
Helmut's small fingers closed around his again, and then mercifully Xavier found himself being dragged away from Hel and her terrifying wedding dress, stumbling through the throngs of people and making himself quite out of breath. He did not miss Hel's screech echoing after them.
"Helmut - Helmut wait - "
Xavier tugged on her hand, dragging his feet to try and make her stop. "Wait," he gasped out, "I think we're away from them now."

"Not as sad as you still being in your second year, Titus." Hel returned with a sneer, her lips curling up. She then gave him a hand, reached down, perked her ladies up, and resumed harassing the younger classmen-- Well now, everyone was gone. Xavier and Helmut were gone, and now Piper and Brenley were too... This dress had magical trolling abilities. She'd definitely have to check in later with Brenley and Piper though, because that seemed fun...but until then! Hel, moving pretty fast despite the wedding dress, steered herself on over to butt in join another small gathering. The reaper sidled right on up to a certain Wrath Demon's side, and reached up, resting her elbow on her shoulder. The height difference was definitely awkward, but Hel made it seem casual. "West. Amarus. Amrita~" The reaper purred towards the end, her eyes lidding as she gave the undead across from her a knowing look. " I saw you come in, but I know you were just being polite and did not stop to say hello because you did not want to interrupt." She then looked at the ghost, and grinned. "I am back again, screecheart, because I can not stay away from you~" Hel then stared up at West, and her lips were curling up. He had to have known what was coming. A long pause, as she just continued to stare up at him, smiling. Finally: " I misssssssssssssssssed you." Inu-Mitsu Now that needs some ice water for that burn Smerdle Trading in harassing one of yours for another

He grinned as the punch connected, rocking back on his heels a bit and crossing his arms. The pleasantries the ghouls exchanged between each other didn't involve hitting and therefore were a lot less fun, but they soon passed, leaving him no excuse not to answer Amrita's question. "I'm f—"West didn't look over to see who was touching him. Once the culprit started speaking, he didn't need to. And yes, he knew exactly what was coming. He thought about greeting her with a fist as well, but decided against it. He did have plenty of time to turn and narrow his eyes at her during her dramatic pause, though the grin never left his face as he did so. It was a remarkable feat. "I'ma misssssssssssssssssss you in a..."When he saw what she was wearing, he dropped his arms to his sides again, bending slightly to poke at the flouncier part of her dress. "What in th' hell's this getup?"

"You'll put me to shame, I'm sure." Amrita complimented with a pleasant smile, before gesturing around them. "This looks amazing by the way, I think---" The words died on her lips as a certain someone appeared beside West, draping on him as though she not only owned him, but the whole place, and every other one attached to it.
"Hel." Amrita's voice dropped, but it clung desperately to a rather false pleasantry. "Why yes, of course." The ghoul continued to smile away. "I wouldn't dream of trying to sneak past you." Though she had. She dreamed. She wished. And yet, still, her luck continued to fizzle on her. She rolled her eyes and looked away, content to pretend she was looking elsewhere instead of blatantly ignoring the reaper.
Then, West said something that caught her attention, and she turned to look at Hel. Actually look at her.
"Hey, yeah...Why are you wearing a wedding dress?" She blinked owlishly, suddenly interested in the thorn in her side.
