Their parents both decided that before the attack on the mist village, it would be better to keep their children in a safe location. Eir using the twos kekkei genkai merged into his brother at a certain age to avoid being made fun of. Background Info: Raiken was born in a small village outside of Kumoga and his family led a very normal life giving him a very normal early childhood. At the age of five it was discovered he had talent in metal bending. When this occurred his family became frightened of him sent him off to Kumoga so that he could be in a place to allow his abilities to thrive as well as preventing Raiken from harming his family. They disowned him leaving him at the gates to die. When the guard came out they saw his ability and instantly granted him access inside seeing the merit of what he could do. Kumoga became his home and from there they encouraged his ability allowing it to thrive. Raiken is now fourteen and just graduated from the academy and is excited to begin his journey.
