Lenore was flung to the side by the blow, and she landed on her back, the book costume cushioning most of the blow. She tried to get up, but found herself unable to - with the costume on, she only flailed about like a turtle on it's shell. Her lip had been split, and the small wound stung as no endorphins were released to combat it. She flailed about helplessly for a moment more before just giving up and lying on the floor. She heard the boy she had punched yelling at the boy she had kicked, but was unable to see what was happening due to her inability to turn her head. This sucks.

"Lenore!" Zin exclaimed when she saw her friend get stuck on her back. She could also see that her lip was bleeding. "Are you okay?!" she asked, hurriedly reaching the twelve-year-old's side and helping her back up by heaving on the bulky costume. "L-- let's get some more help," she suggested, a bit shakily. "We need to get some ice for your lip, too... Can you stand?" She looked around desperately, hoping that someone in charge would descend on the scene already.

Preacher saw stars as Axel slammed into her, forcing the breath from her body. She flinched when he yelled, his spit flying into her face. He was worked up about a girl? What the ever-loving ********. For the very first time in Preacher's life, she thought about screaming out her secret to the world. Well, mainly to Axel. What kind of face would he make if he realized he was holding down a girl so hard her wrists would be purple in the morning? And he was good at holding her down. She squirmed desperately, but her movement only met unyielding muscle. She groaned as he slammed her wrists harder into the unforgiving ground. She needed a way. to get him off of her, soon. A thought sprang to her mind and she licked her lips, mouth dry from the dust. "But..." She began, innocently, almost.... flirtaciously. "You wouldn't know much about girls, judging from how hard you''ve got me pinned down." She gave a little wriggle to illustrate her point. "You've wanted me underneath ya the whole fight, haven't ya, you pervert." With that, Preacher arched her neck upwards and licked along the entire length of his jawline.
He tasted salty - of sweat and dirt and Axel, but her movement startled him. Finally Preacher was able to shift underneath him and pull her hands free. She rolled from underneath him and staggered to her feet, pasting on a cheeky grin. Just as she was about to lunge at him again (a movement much hampered by her currently dizzy state), the sound of hooves loudly echoed around them. s**t. She tried to dive for his ankles anyway.

Shakuntala watched Thomas leave before turning her attention to the horses that were presented to her. Just the sheer sizes of the stallion and mare proved they were of a rich pedigree. She took no time approaching both and extending a hand to both of their muzzles. While the male was quick to accept her touch, the female snorted a bit from the ticklish sensation of her fingertips. A small, awed smile was etched upon her fingertips as she beheld the russet brown creatures. Since riding both was impossible at the moment (someone in the future should invent a saddle to do that -- pronto), the girl ended up choosing the female. Her markings reminded her of the noblewomen who'd flash men a bit of their stocking-covered ankle in flirtation to show they were interested. The mare's name even reflected this; it was Rosalie.
"Ro-sa-lie," she pronounced, storing the name in memory. The horse's erected ears snapped to attention at its mentioning.
Turning her head to Alec, she shook her head. "I-I can't..." she smiled pleasantly. "Let's go get the saddles... H-He- The man said they were... in the back."

Forget startled, Axel was horrified. He flinched when Preacher wiggled. He wasn't as clueless as Saga, he caught what Preacher was suggesting immediately. The lick was just too much. "Agh!" He made a noise of startled disgust and cringed away from Preacher. He didn't try to stop Preacher when Preacher squirmed away. Axel met that cheeky grin with a flabbergasted, appalled stare, blushing furiously. He jumped back when Preacher dove for him, but not in time, and went crashing to the ground. This time he was the one squirming trying to get away before Preacher licked him again. And then he heard the hooves, and looked up to see none other than the creepy field parade marshal bearing down on them. He scrambled frantically away from Preacher and stood to face the officer.

Thank you ever so much for the assistance, Shun.
Making a face, the boy chose to take a few steps back himself, watching the fight with a cringe. When the giant book came running forward, the peach-haired boy could only manage a blank stare as the situation went from alarming to...just as alarming, but also a little weird. He instinctively stepped forward when the younger girl was knocked back, but faltered when Zin got to her friend first. There was a moment of hesitation, and then he stepped forward, briefly crouching down to set a handkerchief in Zin's hand. "Should stop that bleeding. I'm sure someone around here has a first aid kit of some sort." The younger girl--the one he recognized from the fish booth--would probably be okay with a little tending to.
Security duty or not, from the sound of approaching hooves hitting the ground, it was clear that someone with actual authority was going to be here soon. Slipping back, he casually began to follow Shun, hands in his pockets as he followed after the man.
"I wager you're going to see plenty of that in the military. Soldiers tend to butt heads a lot, I hear."

[Day 3 + Catching up]"I kinda... woke up late" Cyril admitted. As he heard the lady saying what job we could do he sighed. It was either dressing in costume or toss flowers around like an idiot. At least he could himself in the ox cart while tossing flowers. "Ox-carts" He said bluntly. Cyril was suppose to be helping the others that signed up for ox-cart duty but he saw a tiny scuffle going on. He went to see what was going on at the barge. He saw someone familiar althought he had never spoken a word to them. He tugged at person's shirt. "Hey whats this all about?" he asked the pink haired boy looking at the fight before him.

Shun finished pushing the barge into the canal. He overheard Axel screeching about hitting girls and he couldn't help but let out a scoff. He wasn't looking at what was happening right now but as far as things went for himself, if someone attacked him, he'd retaliate, regardless of sex. Letting out a breath, he took a step back and turned around just in time to see Axel backing away from Preacher like he had the plague. Slowly, he tilted his head, not entirely certain what had caused that. "Maybe," he shrugged at Elliot. The amount of brawls that break out in the military couldn't be much more than what he has seen on the streets. Except, perhaps, the military brawls may have somewhat of a lower chance of things taking a fatal turn. He could be wrong, however. He shook his head, then made his way to the next boat, grabbing the rope and getting it tethered in place.

"You're still as talkative as ever." Elliot noted dryly, though honestly, it wasn't bad having quiet company either. Still, being around Shun made him feel like he talked a lot, which was...pretty odd, to say the least. Elliot was never really the chatty one--Bas and Kody had always fulfilled those roles in his life."Well. If MP is out of the question, any idea who exactly you intend on joini--"
Cutting himself off, Elliot glanced to the side as another boy--one who was vaguely familiar--addressed him. Lips twisting into a bit of a grimace, he jerked his head in the direction of Preacher and Axel. "Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. There was yelling, and then that one--"--He pointed to Preacher--"Suddenly threw himself at the other. People have been trying to help break up the fight, but...well." He gestured towards where Lenore and Zin were.
"At the very least, it seems like that fight will be broken up soon enough. Don't think I've ever caught your name, by the way...?"

Danny looked at the options presented to her, sad that horseriding hadn't been selected.
Well, oxen were the next closest thing. "I wanna be a farmer! Can I ride the ox??" she asked the lady. This was a very important question.

"Rosalie?" Alec echoed her, eyeing her name plate. He'd take her word for it. Once the dark haired girl stepped away from what she'd read, he ran his fingers over it in 3 motions just like she spoke them. Not that it helped him any. He could remember the name she'd spoken and call it good. This one was equally fitting of his name. His single white star, and short blaze down his muzzle on an otherwise dark horse was striking. The letters F-L-A-S-H were on the male horse’s name plate. After several tries reading it as H-S-A-L-F, (along with several other confusing variations) it deterred him from trying further. Alec wanted to ask Shankuntala to read it too him, but was worried she would laugh. Times like now he wished he'd tried harder in school, or had less trouble with letters. Then again..she didn't seem the type to laugh like that.. "I'm sorry big guy..not sure about your name but it’s nice to meet you." he smiled at the horse patting it gently with a gloved hand, to which Flash was clearly eager to be out and about. "I thought I heard him say that, let's go for it!" Her pleasant attitude was easy to find inspiration from. Grabbing a saddle of his own he stepped in with his horse and with practiced ease, securely strapped him in so it wouldn't slip. Giving the saddle an experimental rustle to make sure it was set. "Say, where did you learn to ride from?" Alec asked curiously turning to look at Shankuntala. Fantastical Jamz since alec and shankuntala are busy with the horses, his mum is floating around. the task is like half done. Just need to clean/decorate oxes + test drive

Cyril watched Axel and preacher carry on with their fight as he listened to Elliot's explanation. "Hmmp I'm surprised it wasn't me who started a fight this time" he said. He put his hand out to the pink haired boy. "Name's Cyril" he said in his usual arrogant tone. "And you?" he said smiling back at the boy.

"I try not to say more than what's needed."Shun took a moment to make sure the tether was secure. He soon paused to turn towards Elliot, who was soon joined by Cyril. "Scouting legion," he stated plainly. Others might think he's crazy for it, but he had some reasons for it. Elliot didn't ask why so he didn't elaborate any further. To be honest, he was also mildly surprised that the current brawl didn't involve him as well for once.

Lenore got to her feet unsteadily with Zinnia's help, wiping the blood from her lip as she continued glaring at the two boys. The wound stung even more as the oils on her hands got into it, but she paid it little heed as she took another step towards the fight. Or, at least, tried to. Instead, she stumbled forward. The hit had clearly removed her equilibrium. She caught herself before she could hit the ground, trying to maintain her shaky balance, glaring at Preacher and Axel all the while.

A hint of relief washed along the hunters face for a moment, before he gave a subtle nod in response, "yeah, I'm security too." he replied, giving a small glance around to see if any of their other fellow comrades were on their way over too. The introduction was a little surprising for Mykanos, causing him to turn his attention back to the pink haired fella, and give a pause of his own, "Mykanos." he responded back. When was the last time he'd given someone his name? felt like ages by now...
Just as he was about to ask where they were needed, and should start, Elliot had reacted to some sort of scuffle going on. Looks like they had their first line of business to attend to... Following after the little guy, Mykanos' movements were fluid and actually quite graceful, standing beside the tussling, and assisting with pulling back those who'd gotten themselves into the unsavory situation. Being the strong sort, this was an easy task for him. Holding one by the scruff of their shirt, he looked to Elliot in a sort of 'what now?' expression.Kaiyumi no idea who is who, so... wasn't sure who else to quote! + +
