Hearing Vivira, Hanabi could understand where she was coming from, but she still couldn't get over the fact that she just left her and her brother, without saying goodbye or telling them the reason for leaving. However, she could find it in herself to forgive her, despite that they've been through, all the trouble she has made for Vivira, Hanabi could never forget how kind and caring she was to her and her brother. As Vivira placed her hand on Hanabi's head, Hanabi flashed back to when she was young, remembering how Vivira would used to do the same exact thing. Drying her tears, Hanabi gave a feint smile, showing that while she hasn't completely forgiven Vivira, she did at least understand her motivation and once again looked upon her with adoration. Returning to her seat, Hanabi continued drying her tears, "Excuse my sudden outburst." she stated, not really caring what the others thought of her or her position. "Now then, we still have one more trial to attend."
Vivira would smile as she would understand what she was saying and that she went through. "alright then...Lily if you wouldnt mind coming over here...i'll help you through it...""alright...but really after what you just did...i dont think they really wangt to be here anymore" Lily replied as she got up and walked to the chair and sat down, vivira putting her arms over her shoulder "heh...isnt this neat mother and daughter trail after trial""not what i would say mom" she muttered the elder would then stand up "before we begin i want to thank you all for accepting my proposal of the selection of a new Heir...i know you have one already in mind but...i feel that for the benefit of the tree my selection is much wiser decision as for whom shall become the next Elder in my stead when i pass...or step down" she explained to everyone after Hanabi would be back in her seat "now...i selected her because she is an honest person, and with the added fact that her mother is already well known as the strongest kitsune in the tree...past and current now, as well as she is the best example of the newest elder..is Vivira trienna whom can no longer accept because of the trials...so i still believe as a second best choice is Lily Trienna, she has potential to be just as talented and skilled as her mother if not better" she stated. "but it doesn't change the fact she is an abomination...shes not a pure blood kitsune...and our tree's rules require that all high officials must represent their kind...and that implies to being them being a full kitsune" the council member told her "wouldn't you agree Council member Hanabi...even if it is the elder we simply can not accept the proposal..."

Once back in her seat, Hanabi would no longer be the emotional woman she was seconds before, no, right now, she had to keep herself in check and deal with the situation of that abomination, becoming the next in line to be the Elder. Though Hanabi found that it wasn't her place to truly ever go against the wishes of her beloved Elder, but in this case, she had to agree with her fellow council members. "Elder, they are right. Even if it is you that came to that decision, we must adhere to our rules and laws. That abomi-" Surprisingly, Hanabi would not finish her sentence, "That, child, is not a full blood kitsune. Her allegiance is not with us or her race. She is part human, a hybrid, a creature that should not exist in this world. How can we be sure that she can uphold her duties to our race? How can we be certain that she would not forsake us for the humans?" Clearly Hanabi had been thinking over this for a while. Though, like most of the council, she had something against Lily, the fact that she wasn't pure kitsune. "Even if by some strange chance that we agree to let her become your heir, there is no way any of the other will respect or treat her like one of our own. Because, as harsh as it may be, she is not of our kind, she will never truly belong here. No matter what she does, how hard she tries, she will never be one of us." Hanabi would say what everyone else there was thinking. "That aside, what proof is there that we should even consider her? Elder, you have high hopes for her, but I have yet to see anything noteworthy. Show me why you would choose someone like her, instead of one of the several here that would be happy to become your heir. Show us why you would seek the hybrid over us."
The elder listened to them "very true and i understand where you come from...but as you are all aware...my goal that i set as Elder is to try and create peace between many races...and its my duty to follow this code...and therefore i picked her solely because she is the key to creating a connection with another race of beings" she explained "she is the pinnacle of my dream of peace...she is the unity of Both humanity and Kitsunes...that is my reasoning behind my choice in her...and as you are all aware, i have seen quite abit in my life...and peace is the only solution" she added "but if its proof you want...What is our race most known for...besides our ability to channel souls into weapons...or even our species" she said "our race is known for being able to surpass our own limits...we break the boundaries of our own physical bodies" she explained "as for proof, i believe at heart she is a kitsune...and i say this because despite her being half human...she herself was able to attain that state...""are you claiming this girl is exactly like her..." he said pointing at Vivira "and the few that can attain this limit...if your saying this prove it...because as it stands we wont allow her to be an elder in this place" the elder would smile before facing Lily "Lily dear...is it possible you can grow more tails?" Lily would jump in pain only to have herself glow brightly blinding everyone who looked at her only for it to die down, when they could see she had 7 more tails than before she was rubbing her main tail that was bitten "geez...if it was emotion...you could have asked me to remember something that pisses me off" she said glaring at her mother "Sorry..." the elder would then look at the Council "she is no different than you or me...in fact shes more kitsune than you all think, yes she has humanity in her but, look...as the first human kitsune hybrid she is able to grow 9 tails...most of us dream of this and cant attain...This is not something a human can do...i believe this is the evidence that is needed, she is a kitsune whether or not she is also human, she ages like us, she moves like us, she even understands our culture...and...she is the only KITSUNE to have ever aided both our race, Demons, Witches, Humans...and even the Shinigami with their fights...she has what it takes to defend our tree as a kitsune" she stated before looking at Hanabi "is this still not enough evidence to prove shes not a kitsune?"

Watching as Lily was able to grow seven additional tails, Hanabi as well as the rest of the Council, stood dumbfounded. A mere hybrid like her was able to obtain such a power. When the majority of them could only dream about reaching such levels. Though they were reluctant to admit it, the Elder was correct in saying that she could possibly be the pinnacle of what it means to be a kitsune. Even still, the Council would not throw away their laws and be so easily influenced, not even by the Elder, herself. With a hesitant sigh, Hanabi, once again, would speak on behalf of the council. "Admittedly, she has the ability and skill of a kitsune. She may even be the strongest kitsune to step foot here in centuries, but we still have rules to abide by. Rules that were set in order to instill peace and order. Having her show up, become the next Elder and command us, is only inviting chaos and dissent among our people and for that exact reason, the Council cannot permit her to be your heir...yet." With the addition of "yet", most of the Council members would eye Lily, some showing nothing but hate and distrust, but others seemed curious and a little anxious. "With the little demonstration that she put on, this abomination, or rather, Lily, has shown she is indeed a kitsune, whether we accept her or not. As such, the council with majority agreement, has decided that she will be given the title of Eres. As Eres, she will be watched over by the Council and we will see just how trustworthy and true to her race, she really is. Think of this as a trial period or test. Show prove to us that we were wrong about you and that the Elder's judgement and faith in you was not misplaced." Hanabi then looked at the Elder. "Is that satisfactory?"
Lily returned her tails to normal "the hell is an Eres?" she muttered looking at Vivira "eeh...its a name the council gives to those who are young and have to earn the right to be considered a canidite and sometimes Elder...but she's been the elder since i could remember...so your the first i've seen get that name" she told her The elder would look at the council "yes...that is more than satisfactoy...i believe that she wont let you down...and i look forward to seeing how she proves herself" the elder said with a small bow "And with that...the summons is over...Vivira Trienna, you are allowed to stay at the tree without worry...you are no longer considered a traitor but our views may not be the same...so for now your free to go" the council member spoke before they would all get up and start leaving, some could be heard mocking what they saw and some were talking about how weird it was. "thank you Hanabi for doing this...i do hope you guys can figure out which council member broke the rule" she said before looking at Lily and Vivira "Well..ill be off..i have some...other matters i need to deal with" she told them before smiling and heading out "so...thats it...i get a weird title and we leave...the society here is waaay faster than with everyone else" she sighed "well...we like to keep it short and strict"

With the trials officially over and the council members dispersing, Hanabi would be among the few that remained seated. Hanabi, along with two other council members, nodded towards the Elder as she thanked them and took her leave. Along with her, the last two remaining council member left as well, leaving only Hanabi, Vivira and Lily there. "Short and strict, huh?" she asked before standing up from her chair. "ViVi, you should take your daughter and leave now." Hanabi stated. "I'm sure that there are still a lot of council members who do not like the outcome of this trial and knowing them, they are already planning things. So, it would be best if you take her and leave."
Vivira looked at her "well..can you explain it in any other words than those...i cant" she said smirking "and i know...i wasn't going to stay...like i said before i dont intend to stay much longer..." she stated before she looked at lily "most of the ones who will plan things are the ones whom were against me when i was nominated for elder...so i wouldn't expect it any other way" she said before she and lily wuld begin to walk to the exit "oh...and Hanabi...i'll keep the mask...since it was taken once...dont want it falling in the wrong hands" she said giving a wave "tell the other Cub to relax for me" with the final words the two would leave the tree and soon open a portal having them head back to Death city EXIT

Finally stabilized Hakudoshi is free to walk around the Tree. It does not take him long to stumble onto the trial taking place. Though he'd visited the tree with Ren numerous times, thier main focus had always been training thus Haku wasn't aware of the Trees community. From his families empty section of chairs, he watched the entire trail play out with curiosity. Though it took him a minute he finally began recognizing Lily. During her trip into the future the hybrid even peaked Ren's curiosity. While not uncommon for a "pure" blooded Kitsune,a hybrid attaining nine tails was quite a site to behold. Moreover, it seemed the Elder saw enough promise in the hybrid to consider her as a successor. While Hakudoshi himself held no prejudice against Lily,he could see the potential problems that could arise. Maybe if he kept pushing himself he could be considered as well.

Hakudoshi walks into a secret passageway after traveling thru the lower level of the Kitsune Library . The place was mostly empty much to his surprise. He had hoped to find a curious Kitsune ,or two. He notice within the library itself there are numerous rooms and a myriad of books. It was a shame he couldn't take the time to read them all. That's when a light flicker on in his head. He began searching around the library. He soon found himself in front of his target;a statue of a white Kitsune with golden tails coiled up with candles in its eyes.
" There you are. Now then.... "
Hakudoshi begins a sequence of hand seals,ending with his palm on the statues forehead. A secret passageway opens and Haku slips in silently with it entrance closing behind him. Several fox motif candle-holders on the walls light his way down a dark corridor. This was a secret storage/training room his grandfather had made. It also held a copy of the clans most sacred text;the Konton no Houten, lit. Code of Chaos); written in a language can only be read by his family. He stops for a moment and takes it all in, this was the first time he'd been here. After a moment he walks over to the codex and reads.
" Since ancient times kitsune have been tied to aspect of the elements. The elements are broken down into 13 categories and the kitsune are divided into each type: Kaze (Wind), Chikyu (Earth), Kasai (Fire), Kawa (River), Tengoku (Heaven), Sanda (Thunder), Yama (Mountain), Kukan (Void), Seishin (Spirit), Jikan (Time), Mori (Forest), Umi (Ocean), and Ongaku (Music). Each kitsune has its own strength and weaknesses, based on the element it is assigned to. The element reflects where the kitsune's power originates, what affinities it has in the elements. The Gitsune Clan over the years mastered Jikan,Kukan, and Tengoku;the most difficult elements. The First Gitsune, Kumiho, was a Kitsune of the Sage Realm that trained for countless years and finally became the first Daigitsune Sennin (Great Fox Sage). After becoming a divine he was allowed to live in the Heavenly Realm and even served in the royal court of the divine as a guardian to the spirits. However, the other divines began to fear the power that he, a mere creation they made, had and tried to killed him. In retaliation he ravaged the lands of heavens and escaped below.
He was too deeply wounded and his soul separated from his body, his body remained in the Sage Realm while his soul ventured to the Neatherworld looking for a vessel to hold it until his body recovered. Kumiho Hanullim (Supreme Nine-Tailed Fox Being) , the peerless hero celebrated in Kitsune legend, was a Guardian, appointed to serve and protect. Yet he had been unjustly cast out. His spirit power and strength flowed through the gate to the Unseen World, until he came subjugate a new power. Chaos,the antithesis of Order. Where the chaos leaks into the mortal realm, the laws of the physical world are undone. A paradoxical void like energy that seeks to return all existence nonentity, but at times it seems to show an almost affection for those who share an affinity with it. Kumiho bent it to his will,and attuned his spirit with it. The result was The Heart of Chaos;a vessel to house Kumiho's soul. The guardian had become the fox that treads upon the Sea of Chaos,and carries weight of its depths on his shoulders.
The Chaos Realm, where the temple of the First stands, floats on the vast ocean of chaos into which all things must flow. There is no beginning or end to chaos. Those that fall into its waters are condemned to float for eternity in the rift between life and death. The ocean of chaos was accepted and understood by the Kumiko who then taught the rest. Throughout the generations the Gitsune have tread in the Unseen Realm of Chaos,and accepted its gifts as well as its inevitable curse. There, a moment in history endlessly repeats itself without fail. Perhaps the same tale has been acted out in the same place at the same time for eons beyond counting, but such knowledge will never be the province of any other, but those that take on the burden of the sacred pact. Our bodies are made of the blood of the First. Our souls are formed of the chaos which he bestowed upon us. "
Hakudoshi frowns. The rest of the pages were illegible to him. Why! He knew that he could find his own way. To push past the ocean of chaos,and reclaim his ancestors former power. Now matter how hard he tried to command the codex, something seemed to be blocking him. Was it Ren? No that wouldn't be possible. The power felt different. Much more ancient. Before he can move Hakudoshi is frozen in place. Something unknown appears from a rift behind him,transporting Haku along with the codex. The room is then chrono-locked and sealed. (exit)
_________________________________________ Queen would soon appear in front of the tree of kitsunes she would let go of Saya and put her hand over her head having a small flash of black energy come off her palm disappearing almost instantly. "well here we are....the Tree of kitsunes...its probably a little different than you remember...but feel free to explore"

Saya was practically bouncing up and down by now. She barely noticed the seal Queen placed on her. "C-can I see the Kitsune Elder then!??" She asked excitedly. "I heard stories about her but I've never actually seen her before!"
_________________________________________ Queen smiled "hmm...i guess we can...though i don't know how she runs this place just yet so make sure your cautious alright" she said smiling seeing her jump up and down in excitement "well...lets see if we can find her...shall we" she stated as she would begin to walk into the tree looking around. due to the seal she put on the two of them most of the kitsunes didn't notice them that easily making it easy to walk through.

Saya grabbed Queen's hand and pulled her in an attempt to speed her up. "Come on! Come on! I can't wait to see her!" She told Queen excitedly. She kept looking around at the other Kitsunes as they walked, seeming amazed that there were so many others out there like her and Queen.
