The demon blinked at that cocking his head to one side a little when the other fussed over him and asked him why; well he could just be honest and admit he was attracted to the other, but considering the amount of abuse and false trust he had already been through he wasn't even sure if Elijah was ready to hear that from him, after all he'd been used and abused his whole life by angels no doubt he'd be cautious around demons too left he fall into the same pattern.
Devin sighed when the other started to fuss again; sure licing the others skin made his tongue tingle for a while, it wasn't all that unpleasant if he were honest with himself. Devin reached up and pulled the other hands from his face gently "Elijah...stop fussing" He said softly "It doesn't hurt" He said and it was the truth; to him it didn't really hurt at all "I do it because I want to...and to prove a point that your not as horrible in the eyes of demons as you think you are"

Those pale eyes watched the other while he was lost in thought, wondering if Devin would even answer his question or try to dodge it entirely. When his hands were carefully removed from the demon's face, Elijah felt his eyes slip shut, shivering slightly at the feel of such warmth slipping through his fingers before he let them intertwine with Devin's gently. "I'm....not fussing..I"m just worried. Am I not allowed to be worried," he asked, frowning a bit. "Well, yeah, but that makes only two. One demon doesn't think I'm horrible because he has to be at my side. So that really only leaves you..." The angel sighed, elbows bending slightly as he settled back against his knees, still managing to stay seated in the demon's lap's lap; only now he was straddling his hips in the process, the action going unnoticed. "..." Elijah slowly shook his head, keeping silent before he let out a great sigh, hanging his head until he pressed the top of it to Devin's chest. "Thank you all the same, Devin."

The action of LITERALLY being in his lap had not gone unnoticed to Devin, or his ego for that matter, which he was desperately trying to keep calm but that was rather hard (Pun intended) when said angel of his affections was literally sat on his crotch "You are allowed to worry but there is such a thing as worrying too much you know" He said with an amused smile "Yeah, me, who used to hate all angels, remember when we first met? I called you half breed and everything, was hardly pleasant company" he pointed out "People can change, demons even more so" He said softly.
"Shouldn't be thanking you more?" e said as he let the other bury his face into his chest as he pet the other hair with a smile before he twitched as he felt the other shift a bit rubbing his hips against his; yeah no, he was not letting his lust get the better of him right now "C-come on, you should go and take your bath ;ll go downstairs and make some breakfast okay?"

Sitting up again to watch the demon while he spoke, Elijah managed a smile in return and slowly nodded his head in agreement. "True...you were not the best of company, but you did come around. Then again, you were forced to stay there with me. Most just leave or keep their distance," he pointed out with a small sigh. Those pale eyes closed when he felt the warmth of a hand run through his hair, head tipping even more-so into the touch while it lasted. "I-Wait, is your mother already gone? If she isn't and she walks in after my bath....she will smell me too much.."
The being glanced down at his body them, frowning a bit before he shifted slightly where he sat within the demon's lap. He didn't notice anything different with the demon, his attention and thoughts far too worried now about Lilin. "What do you want to do about that?"

"Yeah well...you grew on me what can I say?" He said with a shrug before he chuckled "Don't worry, she went to work, she goes to the brothel at the crack of dawn to change shifts and he won't be back until this afternoon, so theres no worries about that as for your scent I guess you'll have to rub up against me and tatsu for a while afterwards before we head out" He said with a soft shrug as if it wasn't that much if a big deal.
Devin was trying really hard not to just bury his face in the others neck push the other onto the bed and start grinding up against him as he felt his c**k twitch to life slowly, but he managed to keep himself in check as he pet his head "Come on, go get your bath, you can snuggle me later"

When told the woman had already left, some tension within the angel disappeared, something that he hadn't even realized was there until he drew in the next breath. "That is a relief. I would hate for her to find out and hate me so soon...Maybe you are mother like son and even I will grow on her," Elijah stated, sighing a bit before he carefully withdrew from the other's hold though their hands still remain bound together. Fluidly getting to his feet again, the angel tensed his arms a moment before he started to help the other up off the floor. He felt his right shoulder twitch and he quickly released his hand from holding Devin's; the appendage balling into a tight fist as a thin layer of sweat appeared along his brow line. "Later is it then..I"m sure Tatsu will be more than happy to bathe me," he replied, those pale eyes watching Devin for any sign of a reaction to the words just spoken.

"I'm 99% sure she already adores you, but can understand not wanting to let her know the truth just yet, wont say anything until you're ready" He promised softly as he watched the other carefully their fingers still laced together; it took some real effort to keep his own hormones and lust to himself, he would need to find an outlet and pretty damned soon before he exploded, and not in a good way.
Devin noticed how he twitched and frowned a little in concern before he blinked as the thought of Tatsu bathing him...while naked. "Mhmm well he is your vassal...have fun...I'll go make pancakes..." He said as he kept his face as massive a possible nope, no way he was going to admit he was jealous.

The angel slowly nodded, and even when Devin was standing, those fingers still clung to the demon's hand. "Thank you," he replied with a smile before his hand squeezed lightly at the one still in his palm. After a few heartbeats, Elijah found himself taking a few steps back, slowly releasing the other from his hold with a sad smile. "..." A light passed through the angel's eyes then and he stepped forward, hands reaching to grab at Devin's hands again. "Oh! Do you have chocolate chips? Wait....Would you have something like that down here?" Curiousity appeared with those shining jewels as the angel gently swung their hands back and forth, glancing over his shoulder when he heard a soft knock at the door.
While the two were conversing, Tatsu had spent much of his time across the hall preparing a warm bath for his master, keeping his hands busy. He had manged to find a towel and a cloth to help wash the angel's body with, looking around for several minutes before he finally pulled the soaps from the shower to use. It would have to do for now. No additional products were added to the water, knowing the hair washing would sting the wound enough as it was. It had taken several minutes for the bath to fill up, only getting up from the spot he had been kneeling at once the water had been turned off.
Opening the door and closing it quickly behind him to make sure not much steam was let out, Tatsu had walked back across the hall to lightly tap on the partially open door. "Master, the bath is ready...Devin, do you perhaps have something he could wear while around the house? The clothing would have some of your scent on it from just being here," the demon stated, looking between the two before he settled on the hands together.

Devin watched him a little relieved of the space between them as his body started to calm down, at comment about chocolate chips he actually laughed "Well, we have chocolate but it might not be to your taste, Demons like their chocolate dark with a bitterness to it, but I guess you can try it and see" He said amused as he let the other play with his hands, before he looked over to Tatsu "Ah...I sure they might be a little big on you though" he said gently pulling his hands away and began rummaging in the drawers for some of his old clothing.
Once he found an old t-shirt and some shorts the other could wear he left then out on the bed before he headed into the kitchen to make pancakes with a sigh; he shouldn't get so annoyed about Tatsu and Elijah...they were together as servant and master, its the way it was always going to be.

The angel nodded a bit too fast then at the talk of chocolate, almost like a child being promised a sweet they had asked for. Taking a step back to give the demon room, Elijah watched the other as he searched through the drawers and quickly removed the fabric from his hold with another smile and a nod. "It's fine. Just for here, for now," he piped up, watching the other leave in silence, before he brought the armful of clothing to his face and drew in a deep breath.
Watching the two, Tatsu moved out of the doorway enough for the other to pass before he went into the room and steered Elijah out and into the bathroom. Carefully, he removed the pile of clothing from the angel's arms and what was still on his body before he carefully got the smaller form into the warm water. The cloth that had been found was dropped into the water before Tatsu knelt down near the other, carefully beginning to wash at his shoulders. "..." The demon was silent for some time, watching his master out of the corner of his eye.
Once in the water, Elijah let his body lean back against the cool tub, shivering slightly before his back quickly got use to the cold feeling. His eyes quickly closed as Tatsu began washing his body, moving here and there as the demon carefully moved his arms and torso about to reach any and all areas to clean. "I brought the burn cream with us in the bag...Please be sure to use some of it..." One pale eye opened to watch the demon then, causing Tatsu to pause in his movements.
"Once I have finished in here with you, I will," the demon replied, slowing in his movements as his attention was brought to the bandage around the angel's shoulder. "It wasn't very big, this one. So he must still be in Hell somewhere..Now that he knows you are here, he won't go back. You know he is too stubborn for that," Tatsu explained in a gentle voice, letting the cloth fall to the bottom of the tub before he picked up soap to begin washing the angel's hair.

Devin sighed as he mixed up the pancake batter and made the pancakes, he knew he had lots of time before the other was done in the bath so he made and ate his own breakfast first, before he decided to do Tatsu and Elijah;s breakfast; he slipped in dark chocolate chips into a few of the pancakes for the other to try and leaving the others plain in case he didn't like them before setting the plates on the table one he was done; he;d made a bit of a mess mixing the pancake batter (So much so some of it was on his face and in his hair) but he didn't mind so long his cooking came out alright.

The angel could only nod his head, leaning forward and then back again once Tatsu was finished cleaning his back. The two sat afterwards in silence, the demon's hands moving gently through his hair before the soap was being carefully rinsed out. The water was carefully controlled to make sure it would not get the fabric wet, Elijah watching when Tatsu's shirt got slightly wet. He couldn't help but giggle a bit, hands lifting to rub at his eyes a moment before the fabric sizzled. "Awe...." He watched the fabric dry and caught those crimson eyes watching him before he sighed.
Only when he was finished washing the angel completely did he help Elijah stand, carefully drying his upper body before the angel stepped out and was dried off completely. The demon was about to help him dress when he felt small hands pushing at his shoulder. "Go put that cream on." It had been too close to an order to not go ignored, so Tatsu reluctantly did as he was told, leaving the angel's side moments later.
Only when Tatsu left did the angel dress, pulling the over-sized t-shirt up to his face once fully clothed to draw in the warm scent now wrapped around him. Eyes closed, the being didn't even realize he had left the room and wandered down the stairs, his face still buried within the fabric as he appeared within the kitchen doorway, hair still wet and uncombed for the time being.

Devin set about cleaning up the mess he'd made in his mothers kitchen as well as wipe off the batter from his clothing as best he could manage when he heard the soft pad of footsteps heading his way and knowing it was Elijah "Good timing, your pancakes are ready" He said as he frowned and scrubbing a particularly stubborn stain off the counter before he half turned to look at the other only to do a double take when he noticed the other seemed to be busy with his nose buried in his t-shirt.
Not quite sure what to make of this he noticed the others hair was wet and dripping on the floor, with a sigh he headed to the laundry room and pulled out a clean warm towel from the dryer and draped it over the others head "At least dry yourself off properly before you get a cold" he said softly his fingers rubbing gently at his head "Sit down, ll be right back" he promised as he left to get a comb, no doubt the others hair would be a little knotty once it was dry.

Jumping when the voice finally met his ears, Elijah glanced up, his stomach making a rather unusual sound as the smell of cooked food finally hit him; the hand holding the shirt slowly lowering with slight embarrassment. "Mmm, it smells wonderful," he replied, going over to sit down in front of one of the plates as he spoke. Looking over his shoulder, he paused when the other was no longer in the kitchen, looking around until he saw him returning with a towel and frowned just a bit. That is, until it was put over his head. Hunching down slightly, the angel reached up and moved a corner out of the way to see what the fuss was about only to find him alone again. "I thought you said you would keep me warm," he replied in a soft voice, letting the corner fall back down again before he lifted both hands to rub at the fabric. Having said it to an empty room, the angel wouldn't know if Devin had heard him or not. Only when the hair was no longer dripping did Elijah pull the towel down and have it drape around his shoulders.

Devin returned with a soft brush and a few of his mother's hair ties; when he was little he'd often help his mother dress for work, she had nice hair and he didn't mine braiding it for her. "Eat your pancakes" he cooed as he gently began brushing through the others hair carefully, making sure not to tug too hard on the others head as he combed out any knots he might have, once the others dark hair was smooth and silky he separated the hair and began to braid it with a practised ease before tying the end off easily with a hair tie then decorated it with a red ribbon "All done...you can eat your pancakes in peace now" He said as he pet the others shoulder "Wheres Tatsu? I made pancakes for him too"
