Ok, he decided at that point that naptime was over. So with a light grin he hopped forward from where he'd been sitting and watching an amusing show, and darted forward, leaping over a tail swipe before raking the ting with his scythe again. He nearly got creamed that time, but a quick lift of his scythe parried the attack and sent the things claws off into empty air. Sadly, it did little damage.
