Aoi noticed that Ariel had moved closer and settled on a coral spire. "Should we go over there too?" she asked before looking over to Alexis, taking in his words carefully. "I, umm... I suppose that you could... But I'd still have to walk eventually. Maybe I could lean against you for support?" she added, her face turning red as she inched in the direction of the coral spires.{{ooc: I want ice cream XD and sorry for the short post I couldn't get to sleep last night and I'm just not with it right yet. Hopefully I'll be awake and ready tomorrow sweatdrop }}

Alexis chuckled. "If you want to, I don't mind. Feel free to lean on me whenever you like," he said with mild amusement, unaware of the double entendre. He had noticed on the swim here the tail had felt more and more natural to him, which was a good thing. He swam over to the coral spires, not really noticing that he'd switched to his deep reddish gold tail again.

Aoi raised an eyebrow at Alexis before making her way over to the coral spires; picking out two that were side by side on purpose. "There are two right here, one for you and one for me." she called back to him, although she did not get too loud, for fear of having someone other than Ariel or Alexis hearing her. She had thought that using her legs would be a good idea, since she did have to get used to them, which she was, but they was still quite strange to her.{{ooc:}}

Alexis chuckled as he swam towards one spire before settling on it. "We can watch from here for a while, then head up to the beach if you like," he said with a chuckle. He saw Ariel glance their way though when she lifted a hand to rub her shoulder with one hand, he noticed the bracelet she had on out of the corner of his eye. He shifted very slightly, noticing the fine runic markings on the bracelet and recognizing them as the same markings that were on the chokers that he and Aoi wore. Theoretically, it may be able to do the same thing, but only trying it will show that, he thought.

Aoi settled herself on the spire right next to where Alexis had settled himself and she looked up at the band playing. "Yeah, though what about her, Ariel I mean? She can't exactly go right up to the beach with a tail, which you and I, well I can hide and you don't have to have if you don't want to. But I don't know if there's any way that she could hide her tail." she said as she looked back towards Ariel, almost feeling bad that she was probably limited to only being in the water. She had taken notice to how Alexis was looking over in Ariel's direction too and it took a moment for her to hone in on what he was looking at. "You looking at her bracelet?" she asked before returning her attention to the band that was playing.{{ooc:}}

Alexis tilted his head when Aoi spoke, slightly surprised she'd noticed, though he noticed when Ariel glanced his way, she showed no sign she knew he'd been watching her. "The markings are the same, so it may be possible for her to blend in as well, but I don't know for sure," he said quietly to Aoi.

Aoi was a bit curious of the people playing in the band and she almost wanted to go up and try meeting them, but she quickly thought otherwise and stayed right where she was. She turned to Alexis as she heard him speaking to her and she tilted her head. "You're saying that her bracelet has the same markings as our chokers, or the door or something like that? And you're thinking that maybe Ariel could use that to have legs? Should we tell her?" Aoi asked, curious to see what Ariel's reaction may be when she receives the news. Although she knew that there was always a chance that they may not be exactly the same and she hoped that Ariel wouldn't get her hopes up too high. She then voiced her thoughts. "I know that it'd be great if it could, but I hope that she doesn't get her hopes up, just in case it isn't like our chokers..." She then looked from Ariel and then to Alexis with a curious expression that could have been read as her asking who was going to mention the bracelet, the symbols and what they might be able to do to Ariel.{{ooc:}}

Alexis shrugged. "You know here better than I do, so it's up to you. The only way to know if it's like our chokers is to test it," he said quietly.

Aoi nodded, knowing that Alexis was right. "I guess that we should go tell her and just see what happens... Oh wait... if it works... Well, she's going to need something to wear, since I doubt that clothes will magically appear on her, seeing as they didn't on me." she said, adding that last part, to try saving all the embarrassment that would go along with Ariel having her tail turn to legs and not having anything to cover herself.{{ooc:}}

Alexis blinked, having forgotten that. "Fortunately I have a small cave close by that should have some clothes in it," he said with a bit of excitement before he dove beneath the water, unconsciously flicking his tail with a splash as he went under, unaware he'd accidentally splashed both girls.

Aoi looked to Ariel and was about to jump into the water to swim over to her, though before she did she heard Alexis speaking. "That's good, now I'm going to... Hey!" she squeaked, just as she was splashed by Alexis. She sighed and shook her head, laughing before swimming over to Ariel and then telling her all of what she and Alexis had been discussing. "Now please, try not to get your hopes up Ariel, seeing as it may not work like the chokers, but with all good luck it will and we'll be able to take a walk on the beach together. But, as I've said before, please don't hold your breath, just in case." she said, just before starting to braid Ariel's hair out of plain habit.{{ooc: Just to let you know, I'm going to be pulling a double shift at work tomorrow, so I'll probably not be online tomorrow. And if I am it'll only be for a little bit, though I'm thinking that I'll not be getting online again until Thursday.}}

Ariel glanced over in time to see a wave of water spray up and hit her and Aoi before she listened to what the other mermaid had to say. "That sounds interesting," she said thoughtfully. A soft sigh escaped her as Aoi braided her hair; she recalled the last time they'd met that they did this for each other and it was quite relaxing. Alexis reached the cavern, which was small enough to hide in, but little else. He found the sealskin pouch that had some clothes in it, but wasn't sure they'd fit Ariel yet still took it with him when he shot up to the surface, switching to his legs just before breaking the water's surface.

Aoi was still braiding Ariel's hair and once she reached the end of the other girl's hair she said, "Oops... I swear, sometimes I don't even realize that I'm doing that... Heh... heh.. Ahem... Yeah, so I'm guessing that you'l want to see if that works right away? Or did you want to wait until a bit later? Oh, and you'll have to get some sort of clothing from Alexis, seeing as you'll not have clothes on once your tail becomes legs. You wouldn't want to have the embarrassment that I did when my tail was turned to legs the first time..." she said, rubbing her neck, embarrassed just before Alexis resurfaced. She looked to him and figured that he probably had the clothes from that cavern that he had mentioned, though she hoped that there'd be something that would fit Ariel, even if it were just a tiny bit loose; just enough to cover what she'd not want the whole ocean seeing.{{ooc: I was able to get online today ^-^ Although I'll probably regret it tonight when I have to work and haven't gotten any rest beforehand >.> I'm a bit stubborn sometimes and do what I want, even if I shouldn't XD}}

Ariel grinned before she laughed. "I don't mind, though I think I'll wait for your friend to surface," she said with amusement; she blinked as the dark haired swimmer surfaced before revealing the small satchel which was about twice the size of a good sized purse even made of sealskin as it was. Alexis blinked the water out of his eyes as his hand swept the bangs out of his eyes. "What about your first time?" he said innocently, not realizing the double meaning of his choice of words.

Aoi nodded, glad Ariel was all right with her hair being braided before she looked over to where Alexis had surfaced. She saw the sealskin bag that she assumed had the clothing that was going to be for Ariel once her tail was turned to legs, that was if it really was able to be. At Alexis' words Aoi blushed and looked at him with a completley embarrassed look. "You do realize what your question sounded like you were asking, right...? But anyhow, I was talking about when my tail was turned to legs and I, well you know, had not clothes on..." Her face was still cherry red and she turned her head, trying to hide it from the other two.{{ooc: I was just curious, did you get the reply in the other RP? I'm just checking because I sometimes mess up when quoting and then the people I'm RPing with never get the replies sweatdrop }}
