He had heard Gale's voice before, but had been somewhat busy trying to prevent his girlfriend from killing herself again, and hadn't responded. Now that the spikes were down and they were a safe distance from them, he tapped his mic.
"Yah, I'm still with her. For the record, your girlfriend's suicidal. Send help. And you freaking owe me."

Mark basically squealed like a small child as the horsemen decided on their own plans, dropping the now broken laptop and scurrying as far as the perimeter would let him, which was for the record, very far since the spikes had been destroyed.
In response to the horsemen's effort and their Fear, the dais, the three platforms underneath everyone began to rotate. Two of them clicked as they aligned together, forming one half of a sigil that looks suspiciously like a doorway. The other half was still a jumble of gilded gold that needed to be unlocked. Words started to play on the surface of the unscrambled platform, in a language only the horsemen could read.
Hesitation leads to in-completion. The petals too faded away.
Eris's would feel the Insanity grow stronger within her until it made her blood churn, boil. Power. Bloodlust. It nearly overwhelmed her. That was right, Medea was nothing. She was War, she was power, she was what mattered. Her figure began to distort and waver dangerously as she listened to the Insanity underneath, cracks forming along the surface of her skin, colour turning grey.
'cOMe HoME wiTH uS and We WiLl GivE yoU neW TOys'
That's right, she could go Home. OOC - Eris is hitting beserker status. Her dice rolls have been upped to 2d12 - 4. She can hit up to 3 targets at once (quote them). In addition, she can roll 1d6 and select a target. If odd, she will INSTANTLY kill them. She can attempt to do this to three targets this round

Frustrated, Kat gripped her weapons tightly, while her eyes narrowed a little further. She wasn't sure if she was to take that comment as a compliment or not, considering whom it was coming from. Instead, she merely thinned her lips into a thin line. Watching as Ryan struck him across the face, she struggled to react when Shik then again, moved on to attacking Mark and his computer once again. He was luck a bloody tank!
"s**t - Mark, are you okay?" It was safe to assume that the laptop was toast now, but at least Mark was still alive and screaming.
Focusing on Shik once again, she aimed for one of his legs, hoping to at least slow him down slightly.

Nevada rolled her shoulders, sweating rolling between her shoulders as she covered her eyes. "They're attacking the older hunters." God it looked like a blood bath down where a lot of older hunters were positioned.
"What do we do...What should we do?"

Ryan cursed, and seized Shik by the same wing that had pushed him aside. Once he had a firm grip on it, he pierced his claws into it and swung back and around, wrenching it in the opposite direction it was meant to bend. Though at the same time, he allowed his claws to tear deeper into the flesh. Nothing permanent of course. It never was. But he hoped it was enough to stop him from going after Mark.
Not that it mattered now though. It was bad enough that this guy had already killed Mark once, but now he even managed to destroy their one ticket from getting out of here.

Dakota could see it. he didn't even have to know that the horsewoman was there. And he was...always had been drawn to war. he looked at Robert and nodded his head at the war heir. "We don't have a lot of time and it looks like the crazy just popped in war. Wanna help me out?" And then he was off towards the horseman.
"Eris." The hunter looked at her and smiled sadly. "Seriously nothing personal. You were my fave of the heirs. But you're gonna hurt a lot of my friends so I think its best to put you down babe."

As the chaos rippled through their numbers and the interlocking circles began to move, it was Lucky's first instinct to hold the sawblade up in front of Mimsy. Just in case. You're wasting your effort, darling, Song crooned, though there was a slightly harsh note to it. You should be fighting those abhorrent creatures. The moment you look away, she's sure to get herself killed. It's not the first time- The wendigo seemed to switch gears suddenly, overly sweet. And I would hate for her to upset you again.HP: 40/40 DEFENDING: Mimsy for 6 Charges: 0/3 Items: Runic Bandages, Trapping Gun

Eris was going berserk. That, in itself, was alarming in light of recent events. If insanity went too far, Aisa would lose Eris entirely.
As grey patches overtook Eris, Aisa had difficulty making it to that side of the battlefield in time. By the time she did appear, it was almost alarmingly.. too late? No. Eris would soon find herself enveloped in Aisa's embrace. Eris and Aisa had talked about this once before.. and Aisa could guess what path Eris might take. Her lips brushed against War's red hair, the color of the horsemen's blazing passion, her hand running over Eris's previously injured wing. She pressed a kiss to that spot, whispering into Eris's ear in all the chaos.
The words she had never said at their last meeting because the crossroad had never needed to be crossed.. until now.
"Eris, only believe in what you choose. Even though we hold onto us four, you're of War. I am of Death. I'll choose Medea but there is no need for you to do the same."
Aisa would always choose Medea, Death.
"But don't lose yourself to insanity, darling. Dont cease to be-- You proved yourself to insanity once before, did you not?"
Aisa's hands wrapped around Eris's waist with a tightening grip, never to let go.

Finally, someone was telling Robert what to do. He hesitated when Dakota left Mimsy, and he turned, putting one hand on the girls shoulder. "Don't go near the spikes. I know you're all, like, talking and stuff. And you don't want anything to change more than it has. But I don't care." Had.. Had Robert actually.. understood some of the jargon Mimsy said..?! "I'm not watchin' you die again. I'll fight a paradox before I see that." He turned to look at Dakota, waiting until he'd attacked, before throwing his weight into wielding Jazzy in an arc, slicing down on the horseman. He had nothing cute to say to the woman, it was just business. He left the chatty talk to Dakota; this time, he was playing the big silent goon. Robert was trained for this. He could play many roles, but he was good at this one. HP: 60 Target: Eris Damage: 6 Charge: 1/3

Ofelia finally decided that maybe instead of just standing around and staring she ought to move and try and help attack or defend. One of the more important-pony-people looked like something was going wrong, something like what had happened before, and the redhead decided that maybe it was still a bit too early to die.
Bracing herself, with Rue still out and now humming a tune, Ofelia charged at one of the heirs. Or whatever. Her blades barely did any damage when she finally got close enough but at the very least it was a start.
Better to let the Hunters get out there and deal damage rather than let the trainees get hurt, right? Though Mark running off like a little girl was really annoying.

Jake's yelling earned him a wince and a soft whine. Words were suddenly hard, and every loud noise seemed to be all the louder in her ears, every color suddenly amped up in saturation. She shut her eyes and grimaced, clutching a bit to Jake's sleeve even as she was put down--and then collapsed to her knees when her legs decided not to support her weight.
More words over the headset from both boys. She had half a mind to just take it out of her ear and curl up and forget some more. It was easy if she just let her mind drift.
"I-I don't feel like lightning right now," Stormy put in quietly, freezing up when Jake said a particular word about her. And thus she stared blankly past Nevada and Sherry's legs to the battles that were still centering around the Death hunter assistant and one of the Heirs.
She had no suggestions to give. Just a look of abject terror, of a fear she couldn't form words to.

"She is not," said Gale testily, though he was blushing fire engine red to the roots of his white and blonde hair. "my girlfriend. Kindly get that through your head, Jake Cross, or you'll be on pod duty for the next ten months."
Not that he would have minded being Stormy's gi - now was not the time to think about those sorts of things.
<< You're pathetic. >>
Shut up.
But Stormy's words suitably shut him up.
It took Gale only a few moments to find where they were, dusting sand across his boots as he jogged towards the few of them. He smacked Jake on the back of his head, though there was a faint pink tinge to his cheeks, his hand moving to the other's shoulder as though thanking him. He went over to Stormy, but didn't touch her, just knelt beside her.
"It's okay, you know," he said quietly. "to be scared, I mean. It's okay. And you're okay."

"Alright, I think that was some pretty ******** good science. Maybe I oughta put in for Life too."
B0nez hadn't gotten any charges off it, but there weren't monsters bursting out of the ground, at least. ...What next?
Mark looked like he was running. Which was probably smart. Harrison wasn't sure how many miles that giant mouth had covered. At least one of My Little Apocalypse had already turned. And once that started...
"We should find Sam," Harrison said, "she said something about that triangle."

Pain. And the a stutter, in the midst of it, a lurch that made her realize that a.) she might be about to throw up and b.) there was a her and, furthermore, a stomach to throw up. She swallowed bile as the sands cleared again and the world dissolved into chaos. But she had her target. The Horseman - the b***h - who had taunted them all, who had injured her so grievously in the Haunted House so long ago. And further back, even - this was a grudge that went back to the Trials, when she had had no idea what Horsemen or even Hunters were. This was pure, heedless vengeance. ... Not that she had any hope of getting a good hit in, with the flurry of Hunters and even the other Horseman clustered around her, but she lunged and felt the simultaneous jolt of Kouki's blade catching in flesh and the serpent-sword's hiss of delight. Sam was busy boggling incredulously at Mark. "....Seriously?" She watched him run a little further down the horizon before disappearing out of line of sight, vaguely impressed at how fast the Death Assistant could scoot.
It didn't take her very long to realize something odd was going on, from the extremely erratic behaviour of the Hunters (so much for spreading out, seriously), to the way the horsemen were acting. "Okay, time out, seriously." She raised her weapon, just in case. "What is going on here?" She cautiously moved pointed her weapon towards the horsemen. "Why are you even here? Four Heirs, several high class ponies, seriously is this junk piece of artifact that important to you guys?"
