Another human brandishing an overflowing container of popcorn sped past. Mmm. Popcorn. Too bad this human variety would be worse than inedible. Hit with the sudden urge to take a seat and watch the proceedings, much as he would have done with a bucket of proper FEAR popcorn, Mmur spun on his heel, inadvertently terrifying a handful of girls in the most delightfully dour costumes. With their faux-sunken eyes and the cobwebs in their hair, they might have reminded him of Amityville students if they hadn't smelled like meat.
The girls screamed as one and ran from him as fast as they could manage. Luckily, it was right into the path of that mare.
Alex flashed a grin at both Mei and Mort, glad to have finally run into the both of them. He noticed that Aymet was nearby as well, and gave the other undead boil a quick wave, before scanning the area, ready to participate in the apocalypse ponies games once again.
"Why do humans have to move so quickly?" He muttered to himself, stepping towards a small group that appeared to be making a run for it, only to catch a glimpse of a horseman that was already dealing with them. Wincing back he reached up to rub at the back of his head. He was supposed to be helping, so at what point did he actually step up and help?
A voice calling to him had him turning, only to see a group of humans making a break for it in his direction. "Oh, YA SURE THING! GOT IT!" He shouted back to what he could only assume was a horsewoman, not having much time to really take a close look considering the small stampede of desperate and fright filled and oh so deliciously tempting fast food that was headed his way.
"RAWR! ARGH!" He growled at them, lifting his arms up threateningly, fingers held like claws that seemed to extend, his mouth gaping open in a jagged grin. Predictably, the humans turned, and in the course of running away from both him and the horsewoman, were easily herded into the portal.
He shuffled back over to his comrades when the little bit of work was done, unsure of how he felt about what he was doing, but very determinedly not thinking about it too hard.

Shaheen wasn't really examining Shik's costume that closely. No, not when there was so much work to be done, the Fear in the air almost palpable, a tantalizing treat to the senses that filled her up, revitalized her, making her tingle from head to toe. Still, as he began chasing after the humans, it was kind of hard not to notice, or to admire, or speculate on how being a woman was probably actually an improvement...
No, she had other things to think about. Seriously. As some of the humans divided off once more, she made sure she was there to send them all screaming in the proper direction, snapping at their heels, growling, howling, demonstrating all of the barbaric battle crys of war she could muster, which were a lot, until they all tumbled into the portal.
With a heavy sigh, one that was full of contentment, both at the days labors and current company, Shaheen finally turned towards Shik, giving him a more thorough and appraising glance over from head to toe, her lips curling up into a smirk.
"Nice dress."
Hey, he had basically called her guise that of a minipet. She needed to get her own jabs in when she could!
Aisa simply let the other horseman, any other, herd the humans as she leaped across the space.
She wasn't terribly picky, after all, they were all Lost Clan members.

And then there was more humans running towards her, and one of her clansmen calling for a little assistance. She grinned, happy to oblige, and moved to cut off the fleeing human's so they had to then turn and race headlong straight into the portal. "Not so fast," she hissed as the last one was consumed by the green light, laughter echoing like a bell in her words.
More frightened souls came pelting closer,a nd she grabbed the arm of the nearest, flinging them into the portal, before turning on a heel to place herself firmly in the way of the fleeing humans. They did as predicted, changing course , and ran close enough to the green light for that lovely fog to lash out and capture them, dragging them within kicking and screaming.
Mort gave a wry smile. "Suppose so," he mumbled as he got a pat in return. "Guess is less 'bout what is weird n' more like what's next in gruesome or general badness . . ."
Like gunshots, because he got pelted again. And this time Mort got very, very angry.
With a growl the twisted spaceman he knew was called "Buzz" wrenched the nearest human to dare run across his path and all but threw him into the central portal - only after the mist had left his eyes did he realize it had been a scareling. The Fear was delicious, but the new weight on his conscience . . . Jack damn it.
And all while Alex got to gallivant and toss in like five freaking more like it was no big deal. Mort scowled at the ground, caught between inner frustration and the conflicting feelings of disappointment and loathing he felt for participating.

Well Alex had been in the process of shuffling back over towards Thrain, but then a small miracle happened.
More humans ran in front of him. More humans that he could help put into the portal, if he didn't completely screw things up!
Thanking Jack for his good fortune, the zomboil moved towards them, using the same tactics he had used on the previous humans. It was going well, really, until a few of them broke away, and Alex groaned, both inwardly and out loud, which thankfully only seemed to scare the other humans he was chasing even more.
"Hey! Hey you!" He called to one towering horseman in particular, one that was dressed as an old man but was clearly anything but. "Heads up!"
Once that last group was taken care of, it was on to the few stragglers, the ones that were near the portal but not quite near enough. Alexander spotted a couple and strode towards them, eerily long limbs stretching out towards them. He had become an odd combination now of his own features combined with Sally's, only twisted to a severe degree. His left eye began to glow red as he approached, ever brightening, washing his almost maniacal looking grin with it's light.
"The exit, is that way." He pointed one long and slender finger towards the door, raising it almost slowly and calmly....
and then he suddenly jumped towards the couple, making an awful low moaning noise, the kind that the undead specialized in, one that raised in volume, a haunting sound that made the couple finally break and run.
Directly into the portal. What idiots. Alexander had to chuckle to himself and shake his head. Even if he still wasn't sure whether what they were doing here was necessarily right, it had been a lot of fun! Of course, he hadn't gotten shot at with salt, either.

Awww yisssss. He'd done such a good job, it was amazing. And Ying had promised him a big dinner! Could today get any better? Well, if it meant herding even more humans than yeah totally. Thrain had paused to survey how well he'd done, but a shout from nearby had him turning with a quirk of brow toward a... Was that? ...What was that? It looked a bit like Sally but also like a guy? Whatever... "On it!" The Guardian shouted and lunged at the Humans, going ahead and just slamming into a few of them to help shove them into the portal. No he wasn't showing off why do you ask?
Aisa's eyes narrowed,reflecting that this cursed costume was probably one of the most effective.
"I'm afraid, I'll have to call you again, Famine."

Soren's head snapped up at the voice. There was a priestess who needed him, and while he hoped that she could not see his original costume (he did have some shame it seemed) he was more than willing to help with the continued cleanse of the humans in the area.
"Priestess," he called in acknowledgement before beginning to stalk the humans, herding them toward the portal with the Fear-powered tentacles, a sinister grin gracing his face as the family screamed in Fear and unknowingly ran to their demise.

A reprieve from scrambling masses might be in order. The crowds were thinning as more and more of the humans were herded like cattle into the portal. The horsemen and initiates were beginning to out number the remaining vermin, and Nergui would take a moment to gaze upon the scene. Dark cheek resting against the curl of her knuckles. It was a beautiful sight.
Something bumped her. A frightened child that had gotten separated from it's parents, and it shrieked as it looked up upon the shadow kissed image of the once fair Aurora. The priestess wiggled fingers at the child, and with a terrified cry they streaked away, lost to the tangle of bodies fleeing in all directions. Acidic flame licked eyes followed the tiny figure for a time, but when they disappeared behind the writhing, tentacled presence of her dear guardian, she lost interest.
Confident now that she had collected numerous humans for their priestess, Nergui finally allowed herself to join the tall figure at his side. "Truly terrifying," she offered, smile so very alluring, and lifted a hand as if to touch one the monstrous limbs he'd found himself in possession of.

Aisa wanted his assistance?? ... Aisa, a Heir?? ... "Why certainly, right away!"
It took no time for Kiwi to scurry into action, chasing down the fleeing humans. A good rattling hiss of his bangles and they were on their way to the Death Heir, as he turned to a fresh group. The Famine colt went charging, wings beating at the air as he gave a whooping battle cry.
Aisa would find a second wave rushing towards her a moment later, and Kiwi bowed respectfully.

"Many thanks Ying!" Tseng said cheerily as the two of them managed to work together to get the humans in place. Looking around, he tried to seek out more victims, managing to spot some off to the side.
"BEHOLD MY POWER!" he shouted. To the humans, they saw a terrifying image of Tinkerbell roaring at them with twisted features and whatnot.
