floralsnow Many think that engineering courses are hard because of all the math subjects that you need to pass. You also need a lot of effort and patience. But, it's almost the same as other courses. For example, Computer Engineering is similar to IT and Computer Science. This 3 courses have programming subjects. What differs us from the two is that we have hardware related subjects. We do create and analyze circuits which I really hate. smile Well, that is true. I mean, not everyone likes math. But to be honest, I enjoyed my Introduction to Calculus class. I loved it when I can solve problems on my own emotion_awesome Considering that it's like a combination of 2 or 3 different courses, it is quite hard you know.

Daffodil the Destroyer I hope you don't mind me joining in your conversation here... I just wanted to say I agree you can't really be yourself on FB in a lot of cases. I feel uncomfortable opening up about a lot of things because I have family and in-laws on my friends list there, and of course there's always the potential for employers to go stalking you over there. That's much less likely to happen on Gaia.
#1 No worries, join all you want ^^ Exactly! It's like, you have to keep some sort of mask because you have your family's eyes watching you. One wrong move and you'll be stigmatized forever. And yeah, no worries that your employer would stalk you here xD

I think it's BS that so many employers do that. I mean, people should be allowed to have private lives, and they should even be allowed to be jerks or express unpopular opinions in their private lives without getting fired (or passed over for a job they'd otherwise get hired for) as long as they aren't acting as representatives of the workplace at that time.
I keep my FB pretty well locked down to friends only. Seems like that's the best way to minimize unwanted attention, though of course I still have to censor myself with family and certain acquaintances. I would really like to remove most of the people on my list, but of course now one is practically obligated to friend everyone one has ever met anywhere. xd
