Kettil let out a few chuckles of his own as she giggled during the short interim where she was naked. He couldn't help it, he didn't know why she was giggling so it made him laugh right along with her but thankfully it didn't break out in to too much of a gigglefest and he had gotten her properly redressed and got himself ready for bed as well.
He brought down his own pillow and settled next to Freya, his arms almost automatically draping around her. His eyes closed almost immediately but he wasn't asleep yet.
"Mmf yourself." Kettil teased quietly.

It was all her subconscious was waiting for, really. As soon as Kettil's arms draped around her, Freya's entire body blossomed out of the fetal position, curled into him, and snuggled until she was as close as she could be. Her head rested on his shoulder, and three short seconds later, Freya went from tired, to actually asleep.
It would be a miracle if she would ever be able to really fall sleep without him again.

It didn't take him long as soon as she snuggled against him. Her warmth soaked into him almost immediately, and all it took was a couple of her deep measured breaths before he sunk into sleep as well.
Kettil sunk into sleep long before he realized it.
In the early stages of his dreams he was still having a quiet conversation with Freya rather than sleeping.

Freya had fallen into deep sleep almost instantly. In her dreams, she was having a conversation with a meatball sandwich.
She was going to sleep like the dead until the world ended.

Or at least until a very excited Kettil began the process of waking her up.
Kettil slept for what was deemed as 'long enough' and was soon sitting up next to Freya tugging at her arm, "C'monnnnnn, get uppp~," he whined at her.
"I wanna get out before the marketplace closes. You'll miss out on so much shopping if you won't get up now," he kept whining hoping that by saying the 's' word that he would get a result more than her groaning or whining back at him.

Freya did not wake up when Kettil tugged on her. Nor did she wake up when he talked, or attempted any other means of getting her conscious.
But when he said the word shopping...
"Shooopppppiiiinnngggggssss?" A zombie rose up into sitting position, hands outstretched creepily. Freya's hair was a loose, messy thing, and her eyes looked like the living dead.
...but at least her wings were dry?
"Wannntt... shoppinnnnggs..."

He leaned and kissed her lips lightly and beamed at his beautiful blonde zombie-Valkyrie. "Yep! Shopping, but you need to get dressed. If you want to shower I can show you where the bathroom is~," he said softly trying to coax her a little more.
It was obvious that Kettil had been up for a bit before his ghoulfriend. Talked to his family a little and told them about the newest things that had been going on at school before he returned to try and rouse his ghoulfriend out of bed for a day of shopping.
"You'll love shopping here, I think! It is all out in the open and there's lots of action going on all the time," Kettil kept tossing in the word until she would eventually get up on her own.

Kettil knew exactly how to wake up his ghoulfriend right. Her arms dropped and her zombie face melted into something more akin to sleepy happiness, when he kissed her. She crawled over to her bag, and grabbed some clothes and a towel, along with her toothbrush. "Yeeess," she grumbled. "Shower, then shoppingggssss." Despite how good the marketplace sounded, she relented.
"Shower, then breakfast, then shoppppiinggs."
She grinned a wide grin, eyes still halflidded with sleep, but her expression was smug with pride.

Kettil let out a content sound and let her get her stuff together and eventually he was leading her out of his bedroom and down to the bathroom that the household shared. Amazingly there was no one there at the moment. Kettil showed her how everything worked and then kissed her forehead, "I'll go get you some breakfast ready!"
He sounded particularly excited about giving her breakfast. Anytime when Freya ate on her own accord was a good time.

Freya took her shower, and with the hot water cleansing her and relaxing her, she started to fully wake up. It was then that she realized she was taking a shower in Kettil's home. It always felt so secretly pleasing, when she realized simple things such as that. Standing in the shower Kettil had used all his life.
She indulged in it.
When she was done, she finally felt awake. She started - and stopped - singing to herself over four times, repeatedly reminding herself not to get caught up in her good mood since there were other people around who wouldn't appreciate the melancholy. She dressed quickly, in everything but her shoes, and wrapped her hair up in a towel. Then she opened the door of the bathroom to let the hot air out, and started hanging up her other towel to try.

Onyx was downstairs with everyone. The keyword being was.
When Kettil had meandered downstairs minus one ghoulfriend that was when Onyx bided his time and then went upstairs when his sweet gullible youngest brother was the busiest with cooking. Onyx wasn't always a terrible brother, but one wouldn't know that from his current selfish behaviors.
The door to the bathroom opened letting out a plume of steam in its wake. Onyx shifted to make a cursory knock at the door and spoke out loud, "That is a pretty song you sing, Birdie."
At least he wasn't peeking in on her. Yet.

Thankfully, Freya was not much of a sight to be peeking in on, since she'd already dressed. When she heard the knock, she immediately assumed it was Kettil, and turned to hop happily towards the door. What she saw, instead, was a little disappointed.
"Oh." She muttered, and then gave Onyx a sweet, smug smile. "Glad yeh likes it. I'll be sures teh sings it for yeh some time." Yes, she wouldn't mind singing to Onyx until he fell to his knees in tears. That would be interesting to watch.
"Am I takings too long, did yeh needs the bathroom?" She gathered up her pajamas from the floor, and tried to move past him to leave.

The smile did nothing to make him falter and instead he addressed her with a smug smile of his own and his arm reached across to block her way out. He had her now.
"Nah. I just wanted to make sure you're getting along just fine," he said softly he was trying to give her one of those looks that said 'I am sexy and very intriguing you know you want this'.
Onyx's fingertips tapped along the frame of the door, "So...you ready?"

Freya saw that look, and read it as "I think I'm sexy but I secretly like to wear women's underwear, don't tell anyone okay".
Being that she was fully dressed, and already trying to leave, she stared at the arm that blocked her way for a moment, before turning her eyes back up to him. One eyebrow was arched high, in an expression of hesitant confusion.
"Ready for what?" Was breakfast ready? Because she was definitely ready for that.

"For someone that isn't a boil. I am sure playing around with Kettil is pretty fun for you but," he shrugged his shoulders a bit. "Maybe you need someone a little older."
He grinned at Freya and showed no intention of moving, "I can promise you, I have a lot more experience." Onyx was apparently not letting this go, at all.
