Cadence looked down as someone approached and spoke to her. Branimir heard the compliment paid towards him and dipped his head down to sniff the woman's coat. "Thank you, his name is Branimir and i'm sure you've just made a friend for life with that compliment." She patted the giant canine's side and he bent down so she could slide off. When she was firmly on the ground she extended a hand towards the stranger. "I'm Cadence, nice to meet you."
Throughout the rest of the day Cadence stuck fairly close to her new acquaintance, making small talk but nothing of any real importance. When it came time to settle in for the night and the report came back with two choices Cadence knew immediately which one she was taking. Looking around for anything she could use as firewood she gathered up an armful and headed for the grassy clearing.
A whistle called Branimir to her side and she asked him to dig a small hole, which he was more than happy to oblige. Into the hole she placed her firewood and then she stepped back. "Well bud, do your thing." A small burst of flame came from the arcanine's mouth and struck the wood in the fire pit. As the fire grew in size Cadence left Branimir to keep an eye on it while she set up her tent not too far from the girl she'd been traveling with during the day.
Once the tent was set up and the fire was going she dug into her bag for her stew meat and rice. She had enough to feed a few people and she wouldn't mind sharing with those who came to set up camp next to them. Using some of her bottled water the trainer set to work preparing dinner while her Arcanine took the chance to explore the grassy area.

Jade nodded. " Well, you're welcome t' stick around here. I wouldn't mind t' company." She shook her head when Jack offered the bottle, pulling out one of her own from her pack. " Nice t' meet you, Jack." The glameow circled around Jade's legs, purring as she did. " Aye, aye, after I gather up some wood." She chuckled. " Give a cat some fish, and you never get rid o' them." She grinned. She was getting to be rather fond of the silly creature. " I'm goin' t' get some wood. Want t' come with?" She could see Cadance making a fire, and figured that perhaps she could join hers. It was close enough to her tent that it wouldn't be too bad of a walk, though she wanted to get a bit of wood. It'd last longer the more wood they had, and she could always offer a bit of her food in exchange as well for sharing the fire.

"Sure." Jack gave the glameow a stroke, getting up. "We got a way to knock it down?"

With out further thought the dragonair left the male who had tripped over her tail and followed her trainer and others into the cave. "Air," the dragonair spoke to the Eevee. "Feel free to join us in the cave." the dragonair's trainer called over to Simon. "Not at all." the male replied to Rory. "The more company the better." he knew Cara would agree with him. The male turned to Fifi who had just entered the cave. "Feel free to join us." The cave was getting crowded but not like he minded it.

Arwen rolled his eyes in response. He had to admit Lexis was fun to be around, but he wondered why she was still with them. He knew there might be Grunts from the teams in Zatao hidden among them, especially Rockets, and he grew wary. It was time to try and shake her off.
"Ah, excuse me for a bit..." he said to the boy, hoping it wouldn't seem too rude since Parth would still be willing to keep him company.
"Why don't we look for someone who can help us with a fire?" he asked Lexis, wishfully thinking he could convince her to make friends with (and stay with) some others.
He stepped up to a group of people that had managed to get a good flame going, but, now surrounded by strangers, he suddenly lost confidence.
"Oh, hello! How did you, erm... make that...?" he finished awkwardly, making vague gestures towards warm fire by the tent.

As the group contemplated where to sleep, Koorie was relieved to see that there appeared to be a well-camped out area ahead of them. As she expected, a majority of the people went into the shallow indentation into the wall. She really didn't want to be around others , so she opted to sleep outside. Shrugging her backpack off of her, she opened it up and pulled a sleeping bag out to stake a spot for her to sleep.
Miu wandered up to her and curled up on the freshly laid out sleeping bag, letting a soft sigh out.
Koorie quirked up an eyebrow at the small pokemon. "Well, haven't you been unusually social." Settling next to her pokemon, the trainer pulled out a bag of trail mix and some poke'block for herself and Miu. Already, she could see that there was at least one fire going.

Peanut nudged Tygress's arm with understanding at missing the rest of their team, but they were safe with good friends. The luxio was acctually very happy to be on an adventure just the two of them; she'd claimed the watcher first after all. She then nudged Tyg away from the tent and toward a neighboring tent where a fire was starting to grow. It was rest time sure but it'd be nice to get to know some more of the company they were traveling with. Not waiting for her trainer the luxio began to wander over to the fire. "Ok, ok I'll take the hint," Tyg paused long enough to grab some supplies to perhaps contribute to an evening meal and followed her pokemon. She smiled as she approached. "Good evening, my names Tygress and I just set up my tent over there," she waved vaguely behind them. "My luxio saw you had a nice fire going. Would you mind some company?"

Mortimer fumed, and watched Doyle walk away. He desperately desired to retort back, but it seemed that the man was already long far gone by the time he actually figured out a great comeback. Gosh darn.
Huffing, he looked around and saw that people were setting up camp. As much as he wished to make sure his grandson was okay, he was having a hard time figuring out what was what in the dark. Herbert was nowhere to be found either.
The elderly trainer sighed, and went up to the nearest trainer. Sure, he had his pride, but gosh darn it, he was tired, hungry, and just wanted some assistance.
"Hey, you...Do you know where my grandson wandered off to?" Mortimer muttered, arms crossed in front of his chest. He didn't like Lexis, but he was willing to awkwardly push aside his distaste for the woman to the side, if only to ask where his grandson went. Herbert could take care of himself.
"Ah, there he is!" he shouted, hobbling towards Arwen. "Didn't see you there." Relieved, he slung an arm on the other man's shoulders.
When Doyle told him to get off, Herbert reluctantly did so and whined. This whining, however, quickly stopped when he found some interesting grass to roll around in.
The growlithe's ears perked up when he smelled food. Grinning, he bounced towards Cadence and looked up at her, pleading for a morsel or two.

It was a good thing that the group decided to stop for the evening, since Lizzie felt like her legs were about to fall off. At least her Pokemon was doing better, all asleep and snuggly in her Pokeball. They didn't pick a bad spot for a camp either, though the cave was starting to get a little too crowded for her tastes. She wandered over towards the people around the fire and sat down, not saying a word. She just wanted to warm herself up for a bit.
"What are we going to do for food?" Lizzie asked after a moment of silence or two. "If there's a stream nearby, there could be some edible plants growing down there. Fish too, if we're lucky enough to catch them."

George looked up at the guy that approached the fire asking how he started it and reached into his pack. He pulled out a box of matches and tossed them at the guy. "These, I have a couple boxes in here. You can have those or if you don't want to go through the trouble you could just pull up a seat and enjoy this fire. We could always use more company." He waved his hand to an empty spot around the fire. He smiled and tipped his hat to the lady, "You are welcome to join us. That is a beautiful luxio you have there. I was pondering finding one of those myself in the future. Would make catching perpetrators much easier with a stunning move." He reached into his pack and pulled out some beef jerky, a bit of trail mix and some meat chunks for Tyr. As he tossed some meat for Tyr to munch on, he pointed him out. "This is Tyr and my name is George but most people in the force and know my Investigator service call me Frost. So what brought you out here? Are you going to try and get that pokemon up there or just want to see him?" George started to munch on his food looking to Tyr every so often to see if he wanted some more or some fruit to eat. He hadn't been with the pooch for long but he was already starting to get a feel for him and the little clues about what he wanted. Tyr caught one of the chunks that was tossed at him and let the rest land in front of him so he could eat it at his leisure. Seeing Peanut his tail wagged a bit,

Cadence grinned when a growlithe ran up to her and gave her the most adorable sad puppy face. How could she expect to resist that? With a shake of her head and a quiet chuckle she tossed a chunk of her food to the pokemon and then resumed cooking.
Branimir heard the laughter of his trainer and whipped his head around, his eyes narrowed momentarily as he took in the scene. Normally Branimir was not a jealous pokemon but he wasn't willing to risk being replaced by a pup. He made his way back to camp and plopped himself down right next to Cadence. A stare was leveled on the growlithe and a quiet rumbling that couldn't really be called a growl, but there was no other word to describe it, was given. Just who did this pup think it was anyway?
Cadence heard the rumbling and eyed Branimir "Hey, knock it off! It's just a puppy." When the rumbling ceased she sighed and went back to her work, the food was almost done, but now she had other things to think about. Like why Branimir was acting so strangely, he usually got along with every pokemon.

Sabre could care less what anyone else was doing, and didn't pay any attention to the conversations being discussed. He'd traveled a lot in his days. he knew how to grit and bear a cold night. So he moved on from the main throng of annoying humans to get some bloody peace with only him and Anja. He was in no mood to get a headache from one of those yapping individuals who didn't know how much he clearly didn't care to hear about their... names, or lives, or make a plan with them... or any sort of small talk! all he needed was Anja, one of his trusty pals.
He found a congregation of low brush, that would serve to shield him and Anja from most of the wind. That cave was too dangerous. Without knowing what laid further in there was no telling what lurked within its belly. Crouching low, he inspected his chosen sight, noting the soft, lush grass, and that the branches didn't poke too firmly. Anja gave it a sniff too, but that was all. Now what to do about eating...

Arwen sidled sideways nervously to make room when a trainer with a Luxio walked past him towards the fire. He repeated the motion when yet another trainer came, and looked as if he was seriously considering falling into a hole in the ground if only to avoid more contact. It didn't help at all when Mortimer came: the old man still thought he was his grandson, despite his protests. Thankfully, he was saved from looking awkward for long when one of the trainers threw him a pack of matches.
"Thank you!" he beamed. He looked as if he was about to decline the offer but, after a tentative look over his shoulder and a glance at Lexis, decided to stay for a bit, especially if there was something he could do to help. Doyle could wait for the matches.
"I know how to fish," he offered tentatively, though seeing as they weren't sure if there was even a stream nearby, he didn't know how much help that would be.

Remmy cried to Squeeks "WAHHHAA! I don't know where i am and I dont see the group anywhere! WAHHHAA! We going to Die Squeeks!!!!!!!!!!! Help!!!! Help!!!!! He wipe his face and sat near a tree. He took out some Moomoo Milk and drink some of it and gave the rest to Squeeks. He had lost the group when he went to go pee. Now he was lost and Squeeks was the only one with him. He knew he should of stay close to Lizzie but he had to go pee real bad. This was really bad for him. He was a ten year old boy lost in the Mountains and he didn't know what to do.
Squeeks cry out with Remmy because he knew they was lost too. He hope Remmy and his self would be okay for the night. He would make sure nothing happen to Remmy! That was for sure!

Tyg's smile brightened at the polite welcome. "It seems the fire has attracted attention," she replied. Peanut purred at the compliment nudged her trainer's hand. "This is Peanut, she's the first pokemon to claim me. I'm a watcher and traveler and wouldn't have it any other way." She took a seat. "It's a pleasure to meet you and Tyr. Which do you prefer George or Frost?" she inquired. "I was out to travel with Peanut on our own with the rest of my team taking a break to be spoiled by my friends who are breeders, and I admit I couldn't resist the idea of catching a glimpse of another legendary. I've seen a few in my travels. As for trying to catch it, well if its in trouble and that's an option to assist it, then I'd certainly try." Peanut ventured closer to the other pokemon and her tail twitched sending up sparks, Feline though she was, she didn't object to the company of a canine, but she was a slight bit aloof even as she sat down near the poochyena. He wasn't an eevee and that was all to the good as far as she was concerned.
Tyg pulled some items out of her pack, "If you don't mind me making use of the fire I could warm up some water for tea? I have some soup packets too, just add water."
