Kutai's eyes opened wide as he tried to dodge the glob. He did so but the glob splashed and it covered his right side, sizzling with a very bad burn. "GAH! It burns! Watch out for the acid!"
Moirrana took note of that and circled around the creature using a wolf tactic. "Surround it! Do NOT stay together, it will only get us all! Are you alright father?"
"I'll manage, let me recover!" he screamed back and retreated. "Just be careful, but don't kill it! It resembles a zune somehow!"

Fenrir circled around behind it, taking care not to get too close. who knew what other ability this thing might have.
Tama sighed and gestured to the zunes " will you watch over them?" she asked.

She looked to the little ones then back to Tama, "We all will. But if you wish I can raise them with my newborns."
Letting go a fine burst of fire to warn it back Kuma approached the head to keep it occupied.
Chattering and its mandibles moving quickly the creature flicked its tails and sent a glob flying. On contacting the ground it turned to a green mist that spread out across the ground.
Coughing Kuma moved away as best he could, finding it hard to breath.

After several rolls on the dirt the acid had stopped burning, but the pain was still there. He got back into the circle and faced it down. A growl had emanated from his throat along with a puff of blue flames. "Can you speak?!" he called out to the creature.
Moirrana had taken the left side of the creature, facing Fenrir and her brother was on her left. She growled as well, letting purple flames escape from her maw.

Tama nodded " please do" she said then sighed " we should give them names..."
Fenrir growled watching the tails closely, the acid from them seemed to be its primary attack. if it came to a fight, he would aim first for the tails, try and disable them.

MM moved back behind her great grandmother and laid her head on Fuega's side and look down at the little ones with a sigh.
Fuega nodded and curled her tail close to the kits and looked at them considering names. Nosing MM, "Don't worry little one. You have not been replaced in my heart. I will always love you."
Kuma coughed heavily from inhaling some of the mist. Shaking his head he felt his eyes water.
Tilting its head the creature shot a glance at all around it a light hiss coming from its mouth, "Funny thing to ask after attacking." the plated male responded.

Kutai was shocked at the response. It seemed to have modicum of intelligence. He should have known better than to assume. "Forgive us this trespass. We are simply looking for a home for our growing family and quite frankly you startled us..." he said, standing minutely at east to prove a point.
Moirrana didn't move. She was ready to attack on a moment's notice. She didn't trust this.

Tama moved over and nuzzled MM " i'm with Fuega, you are love dear, and when we get Kiun back, you'll see that she loves you too. I'm sure of it. Tama looked back to the zunes and touched a brown one with a white skull and crossbones on the front " i think this one should be Barrett"
Fenrir's ears perked up a little to better take in the conversation but remained crouched defensively, he hadn't expected speech from the bug-like zune.

Fuega nosed the little female, "This one will be Nerissa."
Its nose wrinkled slightly then looked to each of them, "A home. For your family....." His tails lowered, "And for the record," he looked to Kutai, "You, an intruder, startled me."

Kutai chuckled and sighed. "I am sorry. Had we known that someone else had lived within this cave we would not have come. We shan't trespass anymore." he said as he turned to leave. "Let's go everyone. We'll search the other side of the mountain for a home."
Moirrana kept her eye on the creature as she slowly made her way towards the entrance.
Kutai didn't move quite yet. "By the way...I am Kutai Mishima. Hopefully the next time we meet it will be on better terms." he said as he began to walk away.

Fenrir edged away, still cautious and made his way to stand with the others
Tama nodded and studied the last one then looked to MM " why don't you name the last one? " she asked, hoping to make the girl feel closer to the young zunes. She was worried they would not be as close as siblings should be because of the circumstances of their birth.

MM looked at the last one and thought for a moment, "Well could we name it -leave blank until it is really named-"
Watching him for a long moment, "Wait." he finally said. Heaving a deep sigh, "Maybe we can work something out....... this place is pretty big...and I don't need much space.............."

Kutai stopped and turned his head back towards him. This had him interested. Though he was surprised considering all that has happened. Finally he turned to face him. "That is very kind of you to consider a deal. What do you have in mind?"
Moirrana stopped and looked at her father with a very surprised look. He was definitely a better person than she already thought him to be. Which was very good to begin with.

Tama smiled and nodded " that's perfect, good choice~" she nuzzled Barretts zune which gave out a slight 'hic' sound she pulled back and stared at it oddly " well I've never heard that sound from a zune before."
Fenrir halted in his tracks and turned back to watch. this was surely an interesting development.

Fuega blinked at the little zune as well.
Settling down for a moment he edged his way to the side of the cave, away from the other zunes. "Like I said...this place is huge. Much larger than what I need for myself. And even though I am a carrion feeder, I don't want to think of a family out in the cold. So why not you take this place...but allow me to have a small space for myself. Nothing big..." He was actually a little smaller than the others.
